The house, garden and pool were well stocked and as it looks in the pictures. The patio and garden had uneven surfaces outside, cracked tiles, weeds, the grass was long and had not been cut for some time plus there were 2 dog poos in the lawn. It was however a peaceful and quiet place to stay and enjoy a family holiday with plenty to do in the local area. Our arrival was not as smooth as we hoped, the caretaker who greeted us was super friendly and showed us around with good explanations despite the language differences. There was confusion from the host over how many bedrooms we could stay in and the need to bring and hire bed linen despite the website details clearly stating 5 bedrooms available and having previously paid for bed linen in our invoice, this made a difficult start to the holiday, paying extra for bed linen and making our own beds after 2 long days travelling. This was later sorted out but please ensure it is clear before you go so you don’t have this issue. Also be aware that you need to clean and add chemicals to the pool. Air con or fans in the bedrooms would be good as it got incredibly hot.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Familienurlaub in der Villa in Piquecos! Die Kinder liebten den privaten Pool und verbrachten Stunden auf dem Trampolin und beim Tischtennis. Der umzäunte Garten bot uns Ruhe und Entspannung, und die überdachte Terrasse war perfekt für Grillabende. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen, aber wir haben die Erkundung der nahegelegenen mittelalterlichen Städte wie Montpezat-de-Quercy sehr genossen. Das gemütliche Wohnzimmer war ideal für Familienfilmabende. Absolut empfehlenswert für Familien, die sich entspannen und erholen möchten!

Een echte aanrader, het huis ligt in een mooie buurt en tussen de prachtige natuur. Het is ingericht met de meeste zorg, ook super netjes bij aankomst, veel voorzieningen zoals een moderne goed uitgeruste keuken, mooie badkamers en washoek, super comfortabele ligzetels aan het zwembad en op het terras, mooie Bbq en plancha om buiten te bakken, zeer ruime tuin met mooi afgeschermde hoek voor privacy op terras en zwembad, veel speelmogelijkheden voor de kinderen, ruime parking met handige poort, comfortabele bedden, ruime kamers. Wij kregen een fijne uitleg van de conciërge en leuke attenties bij aankomst. Het was een heel aangenaam verblijf. Voor de honden zijn er wandelmogelijkheden in de buurt, de Gué de Piquecos is een must! De tuin is volledig omheind maar met lage draad. Door de honden van de buren hou je grotere honden best aangelijnd.

Den private pool var perfekt til varme dage, og haven var enorm, Det var dejligt at slappe af på terrassen, mens børnene legede, Desuden var det nærliggende bageri en sød bonus til morgenmad, Det eneste, var, at wifi var lidt ustabilt til tider, men ærligt, hvem har brug for det, når man har denne fredelige indstilling? Vil helt klart tage tilbage!

Super ge-equipeerde grote villa in een hele rustige omgeving. Het onthaal was prima, vriendelijk & met een flesje wijn erbij. Mooi zwembad, en als het weer tegenzit (was bij ons nogal het geval), dan zijn er diverse leuke plaatsjes in de omgeving (~30 km) zeker een bezoekje waard. We hebben er ons goed geamuseerd, met bovenop, voor de amateurs, een prachtige sterrenhemel s'nachts - zie je bij ons niet door lichtvervuiling. Minpuntjes: We hadden de 1-e avond geen warm water. Ik heb de indruk dat wij de 1-e bezoekers van het seizoen waren, na covid & de oplossing was uiteindelijk vrij knullig: zekering stond af. Was dan ook vrij simpel opgelost na een telefoontje naar de eigenaar, & met een vriendelijke buur. Verder de afwerking van het terras & rond het zwembad is niet zo goed (losse tegels, scheve tegels..). Geen sfeerbrekers & al bij al kan ik deze zeker aanraden.

De gastvrouw kon ons niet ontvangen dus werden we ontvangen door de buurman van het huis met 2 flessen Franse wijn. Fijn wat de buurman kon wel engels...:-). Geweldig huis, bij aankomst volgens mijn kinderen een tophuis! Het is echt een compleet huis. Bijna alles was aanwezig. Bedlinnen, keukenlinnen, opblaasbare zwembad floaty's, zaklampen, ligbedden, ballen, tennisrackets, badminton rackets, gezelschapsspel, NL leesboeken, DVD's, NL talige tv, zelfs fietsen (hebben we niet gebruikt maar toch), zelfs diverse keuken kruiden, garage, 2 koelkasten/vriezer, wasmachine etc. Een heerlijk groot zwembad. De buurman had bij aankomst het zwembad voor ons klaargemaakt voor gebruikt. Je moet zoals te lezen wel om de dag even de robotzwembad stofzuiger in het zwembad doen om alles schoon te houden. Maar dat is verder geen moeite. Eind van de dag erin en voor donker eruit. Robot doet de rest. Positief: - Het huis staat in een mooie rustige omgeving hoog in de bergen. - Weinig licht om het huis dus bij heldere hemel kan je savonds goed sterren kijken. Deden we bijna elke avond. - Mooie omgeving met zonnebloemvelden - Groot huis en veel ruimte - Compleet huis de gekste dingen zijn aanwezig - In en om het huis is genoeg te doen (zwemmen, schommel, voetballen, springen op trampoline, tafeltennissen, jeu de boules, NL tv, in de omgeving: kanoën, karten) - Ondanks je hoog in de bergen zit is de Supermarkt relatief dichtbij met de auto 10 minuten rijden. - Mogelijkheid om zelf gemaakte crossaints te bestellen bij de plaatselijke bakker. Die vindt je niet in NL. Erg lekker. - Prijs kwaliteit verhouding van het huis is meer dan goed. Na een dag toch nog wat minpuntjes opgemerkt door oa de kids... Geen erge minpuntjes wat mij betreft maar toch als aandachtspunt: - Internet was super traag. Je hebt wel internet om oa je mail te bekijken. Andere dingen zoeken op internet zoeken of online gamen is eigenlijk niet mogelijk of je moet heel erg veel geduld hebben. Maar goed een weekje zonder internet is ook eens prima (volgens de kids overigens niet ..:-)) - Je moet niet panisch zijn voor insecten. Er zijn veel insecten in augustus (oa wespen en muggen en ook grote hoornaars) dus met kleine kinderen buiten zitten eten is drama en met het slapen wordt je lek geprikt dus insectenspray is geen overbodigde luxe of anders meenemen van kamboe. Maar goed wat wil je boven in de bergen midden in de natuur.. na twee dagen weet je overigens wel hoe je insecten buitenhuis moet houden en wat je wel en niet moet doen om ze op afstand te houden. - Airco zou top zijn soms was het wel heel erg warm met slapen en een raam savonds openzetten is niet echt een goed idee zie bovenstaand punt. - Slot toegangspoort deed het niet. Wij zette er een steen voor zodat de poort niet open waaide. - Onderhoud tuin. Onkruid in de tuin en hier en daar zijn wat tegels stuk. Staat net wat slordig - Gastvrouw kon alleen frans geen engels dus bij vertrek lastig communiceren Al met al een heerlijke vakantie gehad met goed weer (ca 30 graden). De kids hadden veel plezier (lagen voornamelijk in het zwembad) dan heb je als ouder ook snel een mooie vakantie. Dus wat mij betreft een aanrader!

Hatten wir einen fantastischen Aufenthalt hier, Der Ort war hell und luftig, und das Wohnzimmer war gemütlich für Familienabende, Alles, was wir brauchten, war da, und die Küche war gut ausgestattet, Die Lage ist ruhig, aber nah genug, um die umliegenden Städte wie Moissac zu erkunden, Nur ein Hinweis, der Pool ist nur im Sommer geöffnet, also planen Sie entsprechend, Insgesamt ein schöner Rückzugsort für Familien!
