Thank you so much for staying with us. Sorry about the issues with the local water department. to my knowledge that is the only time we have been without water in 18 years.
We loved staying in this property !! This is Very Clean , Clam , Peaceful, and Secure place with all amenities.I recommend this stay for families with kids.
The cabin is wonderful and very picturesque. We stayed for the weekend and it’s secluded enough to get the best sleep ever but close enough to town to run to the grocery store or go to lunch.
We were only there one night but it was great. Host and her family were extremely accommodating and friendly. The cabin was nice and spacious. The mattress was a little hard for my liking but that's just a preference thing. All in all a great experience!
The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed using the grill and the firepit. The cabin is in a nice setting in the woods on the west of Black Fork Mountain. It was a very peaceful setting. The air was very fresh. We appreciated the good communication and the simple check in and check out.
Beautiful cabin, loved the location. We enjoyed hiking the area around the cabin. Very comfortable unique decor. This is our 2nd time staying here and have decided it will be an annual trip for us.
Property is secluded and relaxing! For train-watchers, it's convenient to the tracks and photogenic railfanning locations along the highway in the Rich Mountain area.
If you are wanting a get away from the hustle and bustle this is the place! We loved that it was out of the way, in the hills. Exactly what we were looking for. The cabin is beautiful, clean and has everything you need! We loved our visit.
Very surprised how nice the cabin was! Very clean, cozy and high end! We loved everything about it! Thank you for your hospitality! We’ll definitly be back!
This property was excellent. After a full day of Jeeping trails, we were able to come back and relax and discuss our day at the large dining table. The view the next day was just as beautiful as our Jeeping trails.
4 adults and 2 young children took a little trip to the woods before heading to family Thanksgiving. It was a great cabin. Beautiful location. Kids loved the wiener roast and the S’mores we made in the fire ring. The weather was cold so it was perfect. We enjoyed the state park near by too. The stairs inside are a little steep for small children but our kiddos did well. It’s perfect for a retreat anytime of the year.
From the pictures, I could tell the property looked nice- but it took my breath away in person! It's a gorgeous, calm, secluded area.
The host was so kind and helpful.
There's lots of cool places to explore in the area for people of all ages.
I'd book this place again in a heartbeat!
Thank you to the amazing hosts!!
very clean inside but outside in front and back very dirty and dusty and we couldn't sit down, we had to clean both areas to be able to use it, but very comfortable and recommended

Cabin
The cabin needed cleaned better it had water bottles and dirt behind the bedroom side dresser and the lock and door handle kept falling off and I fell into a rotted ramp other than that the place was beautiful. And very well stocked I wish they would have had a fan but I bought one and left it for future guests

David a party of 1 who slept in all 4 beds and used every available linen in a cabin that sleeps 10 allowed his kids to trash the place causing him to be charge $393.37 in damages. His Discharged both fire extinguishers just because%, his daughter managed to destroy a cupcake pan amd get it frozen into the freezer, One of them shaved their pubic hair in the upstairs vanity amd left the, there, worst nastiest renter by far we have ever had.
Candice communicated promptly with us to let us know how to find the property (which is a bit off the beaten path), how we could reach her, and how we would check in. Right before our original trip date, my whole family got sick with a stomach bug, and Candice helped us reschedule through Vrbo. Thanks to her flexibility and help, we were able to stay and have a wonderful time just a couple of weeks later. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous and well-kept. They thoughtfully provided us with fresh firewood and stocked the kitchen with coffee (genius!). We also had a delicious meal in Heavener on the way out. We will absolutely be returning for another vacation very soon—hopefully for a longer stay!
Beautiful cabin with a great location. This is the 4th year we have booked here. It's so peaceful and great walking trails. We plan on booking again next year.
Absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway. My brother and sister-in-law and my sister joined us. We loved the location and privacy of the house. Took several walks and hung out inside and outside enjoying the beauty. Planning on booking again! Thank you!!
The house and property were great in every way, clean, spacious, huge dining room table, sitting areas on back porch and fire pit sitting area on front porch. The cabin sits off the road and is private and secluded. Our group rides UTVs a lot in the CNT trails/Billy Creek area. This was the first time we stayed a little farther away but we were able to make our way over to Billy Creek, up Talimena Drive and back. Next time we hope to find new trails around this cabin. The property manager sent great instructions on check-in/check-out process. Would definitely stay here again.
