Perfect getaway on the French countryside

We had a great stay at Paul’s charming house. It’s very complete. The place is private, peaceful and has a lot of comfort. The view from the pool is amazing, the kitchen is very complete, the outdoor area with jacuzzi is very relaxing!

Relaxing break with the family

We had an excellent week in this gite. All the facilities were easy to use and we spent our time relaxing and enjoying the lovely pool and beautiful views. Paul was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

Really friendly and helpful host. Accommodated our late arrival and made the house welcome for us. Really lovely space, good sized rooms and gorgeous living room and kitchen areas. The pool and view was amazing. Having the use of a sauna and a hot tub were great for the rainy days! Really well stocked kitchen with ample selection of knives, crockery and cooking gadgets.

2024 family holiday

Fabulous house to stay in with everything you could need for a large family holiday. Only a few places have a large heated pool, 6 person hot tub, sauna, gym and cinema room? Paul was great and very friendly, attentive if needed and hospitable. We've stayed in many french properties over the last 20 or so years and this tops them all. Great place for total peace and quiet with local shops a short drive away and loads to do and see in the area. Would happily go there again even though we don't usually say that.

Stunning, peaceful location

What an absolutely beautiful setting this home is in! Every evening, the sunsets were so stunning that we found ourselves going outside with a glass of wine in hand of course, to watch the beauty. It is a very tranquil and idyllic setting but yet the local town is only a short drive away for supermarkets etc. We had a lovely meal in Vergt town centre. Paul the host was very welcoming and gave us a wonderful suggestion for a little restaurant tucked away in a village. We made full use of the pool, jacuzzi and the outdoor space. If you want a truly peaceful holiday but with the convenience of being near to so many visitor attractions then this is the place for you!

Beautiful property in a stunning location.

Paul was extremely accommodating and met us in the local town to take us to beautiful Le Caillavet! It is a simply stunning property, perfect for families looking to get away from it all, but still wanting to be able to take advantage of the best the region has to offer. You can see the love and dedication that Paul has put into renovating and updating the property and it was just perfect for us . It's perfectly represented by the website description and photos. Bedrooms are spacious, fantastic large showers with plenty of hot water and the kitchen is spacious and very well equipped. The terrace by the pool with a spectacular panoramic view is just wonderful and in the early morning, we were blessed with deer in the meadow. All facilities really are first class. Paul was incredibly accommodating and very helpful when we asked for additional bedding and pillows. We would highly recommended and hope to come back. Many thanks again Paul for a wonderful stay. The Swain family.

Wir waren zu viert in den Pfingstferien dort.Paul ist ein toller Gastgeber, unaufdringlich und sehr freundlich!Das Haus ist sehr schön, man merkt die Mühe die drin steckt.Selbst bei 35 Grad, war es drinnen noch angenehm kühl.Es ist alles da was man für ein paar ruhige und stressfreie Tage benötigt.Von der sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche, bis zum Whirlpool ist alles da. Die Kinder haben den Pool genossen. Das E Auto konnte vor Ort geladen werden und man ist absolut ungestört.Wir kommen sicherlich wieder!!Gruß und Danke @Paul :)

Séjour formidable dans une propriété de rêve

Maison superbement rénovée, décorée avec beaucoup de goût, avec une vue splendide sur les environs.Cuisine très très bien équipée (vaisselle, électroménager etc), literie confortable. Le propriétaire, Paul est très sympathique, à l'écoute et très réactif. De nombreux sites à visiter à proximité.

Magnifique location

Cette maison, ou nous avons passé une semaine en famille, est absolument parfaite et rénovée avec gout. Des espaces de vie chaleureux, très bien agencés; alliance du bois et de la pierre. Un environnement très calme, un horizon très large avec de superbes couchers de soleil. Nous avons adoré! Nos remerciements au propriétaire pour offrir une location d'une telle qualité.

Superbe !

Gîte magnifique dans un cadre splendide. Longère très spacieuse rénovée avec goût : 4 chambres avec toutes leur salle d’eau ou de bain, cuisine, séjour et espace salon TV très confortables. A disposition, sauna et jacuzzi. Un environnement parfait : au calme, avec les biches que l’on voit passer le matin sur la propriété ! Un endroit que l’on n’a pas envie de quitter ! Certainement le meilleur gîte que nous connaissons ! Merci également au propriétaire pour sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse. A bientôt !!!

4 couples exigeants (entre 60 et 70 ans) logement spacieux , décoration originale et superbe, complet en activités (spa, sauna, piscine, muscu, petanque,) ... et quelle tranquillité!!!

Fantastic holiday

Fantastic house, fantastic location and fantastic hosts. The house is beautiful and in such a lovely setting. We wanted a family break with peace and quiet and it was everything we wanted. The pool is lovely and kept clean and warm. The house is very spacious and has a lovely large kitchen which has all the kitchen utensils you could need. Paul is very friendly and helpful but also gives you the space you need for a lovely relaxing holiday. The town is a good 15 minutes drive away so a car is essential but this is exactly what we wanted

La propriété est à l'abri des regards à 15 mn du village (supermarché), loin du bruit, avec une vue extraordinaire et une très belle piscine. De quoi passer un séjour inoubliable, relaxant au coeur du périgord. Je recommande chaudement !

Sfeervol huis in rustige omgeving

De vriendelijke eigenaar Paul stond bij aankomst klaar om ons welkom te heten. Dit zeer sfeervol ingericht huis is werkelijk van alle gemakken voorzien. Een heerlijk zwembad met fijne ligbedden en een heerlijke loungeset waarop je ‘s avonds van het prachtige uitzicht kunt genieten. Het dorpje Vergt ligt op 15 minuten rijden en hier is een supermarkt, bakker en slager te vinden. We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in dit fraaie huis. We kunnen iedereen aanraden om hier op vakantie te gaan. Merci Paul!!

Hier willen we wonen!! Wat een prachtige plek!

Een prachtige plek, uitzicht over het groene dal, vrijheid alles privé. Een heerlijk zoutwaterzwembad, jacuzzi en tafeltennistafel. Alles gelijkvloers. Bakker op 5 min rijden. Weinig tourisme nog. Heerlijk, vogels, zon en rust. We hebben genoten. Merci Paul!
