Located just outside the vibrant center of Athens, Georgia , this place will affect you.. like a blood moon… Corriedale Farm is rare and beautiful. The warmth and peace surround you. The animals, people, food, house and quietude come together to create a realm of contentment and tranquility that is from times past. A sense of Old World stone and wood coupled with extraordinary wine, cooking, fires and spatial openness. We raise sheep, dairy goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits and a Great Pyrenees.
The house is large with a great room and two sided fireplace. We live in the house on the upper level and there will likely be other guests in the house, especially on weekends. You have full use of the house and farm and patio and the farm grounds. This location is about 15 miles from Athens and is great if you are visiting the area for a game weekend. We have Wifi but no television in that this a quiet and peaceful place where you can rest and relax and heal.
We are a gateway to north Georgia, located less than 17 miles from the walkable college center of downtown Athens… an hour from Atlanta, great kayaking, and waterfall hikes… easy access to I-85, just 25 miles from vineyards and wineries… less than 2 miles from the historic Shields-Etheridge Farm along a shady gravel road perfect for jogging or bicycling. Our B&B is your base for reaching everything from live music to farmer’s markets to outdoor adventures and then to rejuvenate after a day of exploring.

Really enjoyed our time here! Beautiful location, well kept farm, with activity/fun options for adults and kids. Had our little ones begging every morning to see the dogs, goats, and collect eggs. My wife enjoyed "taking the chill off" with the wood burning heat. Very quiet and a very nice open area for relaxing and a well appointed kitchen. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful country charm

The house has been amazingly restored to include a huge central room with several seating areas covered with floor to ceiling windows. A perfect place to relax. The hosts are extremely friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed. The "working farm" is really cool. We got to interact with the animals and just walk the grounds freely. It really was the perfect place to just relax.

More than expected

How does an owner list their personality as being one of the advantages of staying at their home? I have no idea how one could describe the atmosphere created by this lovely couple, The farm was super neat but the conversation and the warmth felt in this home was everything! We were 3 females staying overnight for a conference in Athens and felt well cared for and perfectly safe. Being a VRBO owner also, I was impressed with the great communication and direction. We look forward to our next visit to this hidden gem and with new found friends.

thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Rebecca & John have a beautiful property & they were very welcoming! We would recommend them highly. The space is downstairs in their home but you have your own outdoor access so you don't have to disturb them on those late nights. The area was well kept and cozy.
