About this property

Traditional Stonehouse in Arnados

Villa Ghisi is located in Arnados, the highest village of Tinos island in Greece. It was built in 1887 by the skilful craftsmen of Tinos and renovated in 2006 – 2008 with respect to all architectural elements. We managed to conserve all elements of the past, the big stone walls, wood and stone, the carved marble, the white cement, materials that harmonically co-exist in the exteriors and interiors combined with luxury and comfort. From the built-in beds you can seize the big blue Aegean Sea and be fascinated by the elements of nature. On the amazingly large verandas you can relax and day – dream, watching the ships passing by like colourful and illuminated beads in the Aegean.

The Villa’s ambiance offers absolute tranquility, serenity and autonomy, as well as an astonishing panoramic view of the sea, the mainland and the horizon. Arnados is an amphitheatrically built village that overlooks the islands of Mykonos, Syros, Paros and Naxos. This is a medieval village with arches, steps and springs that gives you the feeling that you are in some other time and age.
