Only thing I would recommend is if staying during winter season bring in all your food or plan to drive a bit for food.

D DAY

The house is ideal for visiting the D-Day beaches and museums in a lovely little village which offers bars and restaurants. The house is only 25 minutes to the ferry port and best of all you get to go over pegasus bridge when ever you go anywhere.

Nostalgic trip

Return to Normandy with family having lived there for a while years ago. Used as base to visit WW2 landing memorials and Bayeaux as son now teaching history - house in very convenient place and well equipped. Lots of restaurants nearby even in off season. We had a great week

Norman House

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Norman house. Communication with Patrice was easy and the check-in process smooth. The house was clean and neat. Linen’s were fresh. The backyard was beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet, and the neighbors friendly. The area is awash in history. About an hour from Normandy, this locale enable us to see everything we wanted and more. We had a change of plans and had to check out early, but we enjoyed our stay very much.

Sweetest VRBO ever!

This place is so so pretty and sweet! It is on a very quiet street within walking distance to shops and (very) delicious restaurants as well as walking distance to multiple beaches, including the historic Sword beach which is one of the 5 beaches that were stormed during D-day. My family of 7 very comfortably stayed here and enjoyed every minute. We came in the off season for the history of the area and spent our days touring the museums and WWII sites which ranged from a few minute walk, to a scenic hour drive for the farthest site (Utah beach) and our nights were spent strolling through the little town and visiting different restaurants. The hosts were very gracious and responsive. I absolutely highly recommend this VRBO! Thank you for letting us stay and make unforgettable family memories here.

fair accomendations

when I called to say we were coming, the person I called did not answer so I called the owner and he met us there. He did not speak english very well which surprised us if you are going to rent to travelers . He did not know how most things worked and house was very cold. home is not really as advertised and no explanations on how things work such as washer or TV. Was not what the 4 of us expected.

Agréable maisonnette, très bien équipée, accueil très sympa. Les vélos ont été appréciés par les enfants et le barbecue par les adultes.Maison assez petite si vous êtes 8 adultes mais très bien pour juste y dormir et surtout très bien située.

Jolie maison Normande très proche de la mer. 4 chambres avec draps et linge fournis très appreciable avec dosettes café et sopalin et paper wc. Il y a du materiel pour l’exterieur et jeux de societe. Maison lumineuse et propre. Au calme et endroit agréable. Bemol la VMC dans SDB fonctionne mal donc buée dedans après une douche faut ouvrir en grand la piece après son utilisation. Décoration un peu decalé. Systeme boite a cle très bien. Facilite pour se garer devant la maison.

Unser Urlaub in der Normandie

Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage in der Normandie. Das Ferienhaus war sehr nett und gemütlich. Die Sauberkeit war grundsätzlich in Ordnung, in der Küche mussten wir jedoch noch etwas "nachreinigen" (Boden, Geschirr). War aber nicht so tragisch. Gerne wieder!

Maison calme, avec du charme, pas loin de la mer. Parfait pour visiter la côte fleurie (Honfleur, Cabourg, Deauville...) et les plages du débarquement.

Traditionelles Ferienhaus

Das Haus befindet sich in einer ruhigen Straße in Strandnähe. Es ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet viel Platz für eine Familie. Doch leider war das Geschirr und Besteck so schmutzig, dass wir es erst abspülen mussten. Auch die Schubladen in der Küche sowie im Kinderzimmer waren total dreckig. Das Sofa war ebenfalls schmutzig. Die Nachttischchen und der Tisch im Schlafzimmer waren voller Staub. Nach einer Stunde putzen haben wir uns in dem Haus wohl gefühlt und einen angenehmen Aufenthalt gehabt.

Hallo wir entschuldigen uns für die Unannehmlichkeiten, die Ihnen entstanden sind. Das Haus wurde vor Ihnen für einen längeren Zeitraum (3 Wochen) vermietet und Marie war nicht in der Lage, das Haus zwischen den beiden Vermietungen wieder in den gewohnten Zustand der Sauberkeit zu versetzen.
