329 at El Taj Ocean is a large 2 bedroom/2 bath condo on the third floor with ocean views, a private wrap around terrace with outdoor Jacuzzi and a separate sun parlor with an outdoor wet bar and refrigerator. Condo also has a washer/dryer, maid service and dishwasher. King-sized bed in the master bedroom. The second bedroom can be set up with twin beds or a king-sized bed. This property was exactly as advertised. From check in, to the condo, to the restaurant and beach service we couldn’t have been more pleased. There were a couple of minor issues that were taken care of immediately by the property managers. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and great apartment

Property was great. A little hard to find when arriving at night in the rain and streets were tight. But once we found it navigation was easy with our rental the rest of the week. Really close to 5th avenue and great restaurants but far enough where noise wasn’t an issue. Try the restaurant downstairs for lunch and breakfast. It was great and super convenient.

Family stay

Our family of 4 stayed 3 nights after 5 nights at an all inclusive resort in Cancun. We much prefer the extra space of a condo. The location is great as far as walking up to 5th Ave for shopping and dining options. The pool was great but lacked seating. The beach was okay, the chairs were nice but the beach area is small and not a ton of area to walk and boats blocking the area. Would definitely stay again as the staff and condo were all lovely!

A pleasant stay

Great having space for the family. Ocean view was good, but much better in front units. Asked for a pad for our lounger three times, but never got it. Dishwasher soap dispenser did not open, leaving dishes dirty. Staff was pleasant and the food and service at the beach club was excellent. I would not call the accommodations luxurious, but they were adequate. There was very little beachfront, but we always found a chair. Proximity to restaurants was great and not far to xcaret.

A tropical gem in Playa del Carmen

Our stay at El Taj was excellent. Our spacious two bedroom, two bath suite was very comfortable for 3 adults. A beautiful beach location, very quiet, short walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. It’s just like in the pictures, a tropical jungle. Bottled water for dispenser and bagged ice were provided throughout our stay. We used “The Gym” which is a few blocks walk. The helpful concierge has bikes, yoga mats, beach toys, coolers etc to use. We enjoyed the pool, beach restaurant and beach loungers. We are already planning our return. The staff are super friendly. We highly recommend.
