Lovely chalet in a beautiful location just outside of Chamonix. Situated beneath glacier de bossons, 45 minute walk up to the glacier or take the chairlift a few minutes walk away. Bus stop 5 minute walk away. Hosts were great, Blandine and Bernard were perfect

Just perfect!

Bernard and his wife are very nice and helpful, the chalet is very good looking, comfortable and full of everything you need for a "feels like home" stay. The position is panoramic and near to city centre, the train station and some good restaurants. We will surely come back here next time!

Amazing place to stay and great hosts!

I highly recommend staying here. It is in a great quiet location just outside of Chamonix city center. It is convenient to get to grocery stores and into the city center. The chalet had everything we needed and the hosts were so gracious throughout our stay. Helping us with anything we needed. I hope to be back to Chamonix sometime soon and will absolutely stay here again. Thank you to the hosts for offering such a beautiful place to stay! I 100% recommend you stay here!

Majestic views

From every window in this chalet, there was a view one cannot forget. The owners are attentive and very helpful, including with excellent nearby hike recommendations. Ten minutes by car from Chamonix it's a lovely place to be based. Do come with data on your phone because the region is installing fibre. It is the best way to get connected.

Perfect mountain hideaway

This was our first visit to Chamonix and we found this Chalet through HomeAway. It couldn't have been more perfect! We were just 2 but it would be comfortable for 2 couples or a family of 4 as well. The place was immaculate and beautifully finished. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, and offered plenty of advice on the skiing and dining options for our visit. The kitchen is functional and well stocked, so you can choose to cook at home after a long day of skiing. There is a wood burning fireplace and a comfortable seating area to enjoy a bottle of wine apres-ski. This chalet is the perfect choice if you prefer to stay somewhere quiet and self-sufficient over a busy tourist area. It is a quick (5 min) drive to Chamonix centre with grocery stores, restaurants, and several ski areas. We highly recommend!

Thank you for your comment. We would not have thought of the idea of the mountain refuge. Yet we first came to Chamonix in 1970 and we stayed in a small chalet built as a refuge. It's the same idea that we wanted to take, retaining the warmth of refuge, but by modernizing the interior and the equipment so that you are at home. We will welcome you with pleasure again in Chamonix !

Cozy stay with amazing view and lovely hosts

Thanks to the wonderful owners, we spent a very comfortable week with four people in the cute chalets (we rented both the main one and the mazot (without additional cost)). The location is perfect for exploring all there is to do in the Chamonix area but allows for some privacy and quiet. Also the view from both terraces towards the mountain ranges is amazing. The chalets are clean and have everything one needs. It is true that the stairs to the bathroom are not easily doable for everyone, as they're quite steep (no problem for us), and there are only two comfy chairs in the living room (because of its size, but I'm sure the owners would have had an additional solution there, too, if we had asked). It's a nice feature to have the Bossons glacier chairlift and the camping restaurant in a short walking distance as well. The owners adapted everything according to our needs and were extremely available and willing to help. Thanks again for your thoughtfulness and for the beautiful holidays!

Chalet authentique en pleine nature

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans le chalet des Granges Neuves. Celui-ci est très bien équipé pour y vivre confortablement à 4 adultes + enfants. Nous étions 3 adultes, un enfant de 3 ans et un nouveau-né de 2 mois. Les propriétaires du chalet savent recevoir et sont à l'écoute durant tout le séjour. Il est parfaitement situé pour démarrer les randonnées depuis le chalet sans avoir à prendre la voiture (juste en dessous du glacier des bossons). Chamonix est à seulement 5 minutes de voiture, rien de compliqué pour s'y rendre (bus, vélo ou voiture). Encore merci pour ce très beau séjour.

Super accueil des très sympathiques propriétaires de ce magnifique chalet au calme! Wir hatten eine tolle Woche Ende August 2023. Die Lage unterhalb der Gletscherzunge ist top. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Bernard hat sogar ein Raclette in der Küche. Uns hat es super gefallen. Liebe Grüße Nicole und Familie

Vacances en famille très réussi beau chalet très calme bien situé , proche du glacier des bossons nous avons apprécié l’accueil de Bernard et blandine ,l’équipement du chalet , l’eau du robinet est excellente,,les sentiers de randonnées à proximité , et si vous avez des enfants de tailles adultes il y a la possibilité de les faire dormir dans la dépendance du jardin la mezzanine conviendra pour des enfants de petites tailles . Belles vue sur les montagnes et l’aiguille du midi à faire absolument . Merci Pascal

Tolles Ferienhäuschen in super Lage

Das Chalet hat eine sehr gute Lage und man hat schon beim Aufwachen einen fantastischen Blick auf die umliegenden Bergspitzen. Es ist modern aber gleichzeitig auch gemütlich eingerichtet und enthält alles, was man von einem Ferienhaus erwartet. Es war alles sauber und ordentlich, so dass man sich gleich wohlgefühlt hat. Es gibt zwei möblierte Terrassen, die wir auch je nach Sonnenstand genutzt haben, denn wir hatten eine sehr heiße Woche im Juli. Das Chalet ist durch Hecken weitgehend sichtgeschützt. Unsere Tochter (17) hatte ihr eigenes kleines Schlafgemach im sich nebenan befindlichen sogenannten Mazot mit großem Doppelbett. Das Gastgeberehepaar, welches unmittelbar daneben wohnt, ist sehr nett und spricht (etwas) deutsch, was die Kommunikation natürlich erleichterte. Es gab sogar ein kleines Willkommensgeschenk, was wir als sehr aufmerksam betrachteten. Bei Problemen kann man sich jederzeit an sie wenden. Wir verbrachten eine sehr erholsame Woche in Les Bossons mit vielen Wanderungen und Fahrrad fahren.

Heerlijk vakantieverblijf!

Een heerlijk vakantieverblijf. Alles is in de woning aanwezig. De plek is perfect. Heel rustig en toch centraal. Dicht bij de liften en wandelgebieden. Wifi was helaas slecht, maar dat is een kleinigheid.

Quiet comfortable place near Chamonix

Beautiful location, very quiet, close to some great hiking trails (La Jonction out the door). Unusually spacious bathroom and comfortable accommodations, very clean, looks recently remodeled. Owner lives next door and was very friendly and helpful. Has dishwasher/laundry/stove/fridge. In our 8th visit to Chamonix this was our favorite location to stay, highly recommended.
