If you want a property that has direct access to a great beach, this is it. Be mindful that the beach accessories (umbrellas, lounge chairs) are an extra cost due to the property itself. They have onsight food and bars near their beach area, and the Cuban sandwich was very good.

May 2025 stay at this rental - save your money and book somewhere else.
The only good thing about this rental, is that the host was very responsive. The hotel is old & unkept. The rental unit was dirty with old gross carpet. The beds, pillows and couch smelled like urine. There were VERY minimal kitchen items to use and we had yo get very creative when preparing food. The outside halls were very dirty and we saw several roaches. Don’t stay here!
This condo was very nice for the three of us. The shuttle trolley was right out side to take us down to South beach area. Parking was very convenient for our vehicle. Very friendly staff.
The only thing was the need to provide one wash cloth per person and a hand towel for each room as well as a dish towel and dish rag or sponge. Once we asked for more towels we did get them but overall good stay.
The lobby was very nice, I think recently renovated. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was just as depicted, but there was a second door leading out into the hallway from the kitchen that I wish had a deadbolt too, it only had a small lock on it. The place was easy to find and the room was clean, it had the basics we needed for a weekend trip. It was a good find for the price and location.

Not the best or the worst
Thought it was a little expensive for what we got. Also the place had interesting rules for being a beach front property.
Loved our stay in nice reno two br overlooking intercostal. Building is older like most but well kept with great staff
Needs a new Gym and equipment. Also gym has short odd hours. Only thing poor in building
The apartment is perfectly located on Midbeach. Checking in worked without any problems. However, we were asked to pay for the parking space at reception, even though it had already been paid for in the booking, and this was only accepted after a lengthy discussion. There is a nice kitchen in the apartment, but it is barely equipped, so cooking is impossible.
The location is really good if you’re staying with kids/teens, area isn’t overly crowded like South Beach. Collins Express Miami Beach trolley southbound picks up just across the street & northbound right out front (Miami Beach trolley is FREE!!). Many great restaurants deliver (Uber Eats, GrubHub, Slice, etc) right to the front door, so you don’t have to deal with hungry crowds if you don’t want to. Only real issue was cooking, cookware was limited & there wasn’t any dish/pan for using in the oven (couldn’t cook fries). Really not a big deal, just unusual in a full kitchen rental. Would definitely stay there again!

Family vacation to Miami
Overall our stay was fine. I was really grateful for the spacious apartment, it was exactly what we needed. I was surprised the place wasn’t stocked with more essentials for a 2bd2ba apartment (hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, dish washer pods etc). The pots and pans that were there were almost useable so we bought a new fry pan. The location was nice, on the beach! We wished we were in walking distance to coffee shops and places to eat. There was access to a board walk which we walked every night.
This is a clean, well-kept hotel. The master bedroom bed was terribly uncomfortable, but the other two beds were fine. The coffee pot should be larger - it’s one of those tiny, hotel sized machines. I wish that listings would tell you which view you were getting. This room is street side and faces Miami. Also, there is a dust pan, but no broom in the room. I didn’t get any communication in the check in process or where to park and wasn’t messaged back about it until after I checked in. Mostly, small issues of an otherwise excellent stay. The pool was clean, beach access was perfect. The Miami trolley stops right in front of the hotel. Otherwise, it’s a long, but perfectly safe and doable walk to dining and groceries.
I would absolutely stay here again.

Dated property, fine location
Pros: the property is on the beach, staff is friendly, and when the restaurant and tiki bar is open, the food was good. The tiki bar is only open a couple days in the week, but the food was great. It is right on the boardwalk and there is a Citibike rental across the street and down the block. The free shuttle was fine, but packed and never on schedule as advertised on the app. The beach is great and chairs are included. Cons: there is no food options or even convenience stores near the property. The condo itself has carpet that is very old and terribly stained. As noted in other reviews, no dish towels, paper towels, nothing except for four bath towels. We ended up getting more towels, but the kitchen has nothing you could use to take something out of the oven or wipe up a spill. There were 3 mismatched water glasses, a few coffee cups, but no other glasses. The balcony has a nice view of the bay, but traffic noise is very loud and the table on the balcony wobbles so much that it is not usable. The TV is small and has DTV, but no guide, so pretty tough to even find ESPN. The building itself is old and using the elevators was terrible as they were always full and slow. There are very nice pickleball courts, but you have to pay 10 per person for an hour and then had to still provide your own paddles and ball. Overall, it was fine, but for the same money, we will stay at north beach next time and be able to walk to restaurants and bars.
This was a good choice to stay that was reasonably priced and on a direct bus line to South Beach. The beds are comfortable, and we had no problem with noise waking us up. The view is decent, and the decor is pleasant.
However, I booked it because it was labeled as wheelchair accessible, which it is only marginally. The turn into the kitchen is very tight, and I could not enter it with my power chair. I also could not access the bathroom in the room with two beds (I did not try the other one) because the door was too narrow. There is no mirror in the room itself that a wheelchair user can use, and the bads are high, so not wheelchair friendly.
The hotel building itself has a step, so you have to request a wooden ramp every time you want to enter or leave, and the path up to the entrance is very steep. The hotel also has something under the elevator buttons on the wall on the first floor that makes it hard for some wheelchair users to reach the elevator buttons.
The staff were mostly friendly and accommodating. When I went to check out, the man at the counter kept addressing my caregiver and not me, even though the reservation was in my name using my credit card. He could not sustain eye contact with me and was clearly uncomfortable around my disability.
The place was clean, and we were pretty comfortable there (except for access issues).

Renovations occurring directly above us
While the unit was exactly as advertised, we woke up the following morning to EXTREMELY loud construction. The front desk then informed us they were renovating directly above us.
We requested a new room and were promptly given one however the accommodations in the new room were not nearly as nice as the original unit booked.(the couch was literally unsittable due to springs all loose) The property manager had been very responsive and agreed to reimburse me if I checked out early since we weee unhappy. It has been almost 3 days since we checked out and after repeated requests of reimbursement confirmation, there has been no response.
I will be disputing with my credit card but am extremely disappointed as this ruined our stay.
Rooms were clean and quiet. Nice place. Only complaint is our transportation to the port. We asked the front desk attendant to order us a taxi. He called what we thought was a taxi and told us it would be 60. They picked us up in a black suv. The ride to port was quite scary as the driver drove like a maniac. They charged us 90 and added on a 20% tip. So our 60 “taxi” ride turned into 130
The condo was huge. Way bigger than depicted in photos. Great space comfortable beds, nice kitchen.
The clientele was a bit rough at the property, but there was a strong security presence. A great vacation for my family with beautiful beachfront right out the door.
