River Mountain Lodge is located right beside the beautiful cascading Blue River in the heart of Breckenridge. An easy walk across the covered walking bridge to the shops and restaurants of downtown yet peacefully set at the bottom of the Four O’Clock ski run. Walk the block to the Gondola to take you to the top of Peak 8 or take the Free Shuttle that arrives at the door.

River Mountain Lodge is a smoke free facility offering a 24 hour front desk service and an inviting fireside lounge. The outdoor swimming pool is a great diversion to your ski vacation or a wonderful summertime activity. The four hot tubs are an excellent way to unwind after an active day any time of the year. There is also a well-equipped fitness center which also includes a sauna and steam room. Complimentary ski, snowboard and bike storage is there for your convenience. An excellent onsite restaurant is located within the lodge if you don’t feel like cooking and just want to chill for the evening. River Mountain Lodge’s Fireside Lounge is also a delightful spot to enjoy après ski with friends or a cold beer on a warm summer afternoon.

The free heated underground garage is perfect but you won’t have need of your car for the duration of your stay. Why drive when you can walk or take the free shuttle anywhere you may want to go.

We love the time we spend at our condo. With a full kitchen we enjoy great family meals when we gather at the condo for ski weekends. We all enjoy the cozy atmosphere with the gas fireplace, comfy furniture and a 55 inch flat screen TV in the living room. The condo does sleep four as we have an excellent queen sized mattress in the pull out couch.

The bedroom has a gorgeous king size bed with a rustic pine post headboard and another flat screen TV for your enjoyment. Both TV’s have Roku, full cable subscription and excellent complimentary high speed WIFI provides all the amenities of home.

We love our condo and the memories that we have made. We hope that you will do the same.

Not all RML amenities, such as hot tubs or steam room, may be available at any particular time due to coronavirus cleaning. Keeping you safe is everyone's first priority.

This is a great location. This is the 3rd time in Breckenridge and this is the best location yet. The staff at the lodge was excellent and helpful. The parking garage is easy to enter/exit.

Convenient location to gondola lift

Enjoyed our short stay in Breckenridge. Warm and knowledgeable host gave us a lot of good recommendations for skiing this wonderful mountain. Short walk to gondola and could ski directly back to unit and end of day. Highly recommended.

Wonderful condo in the heart of Breckenridge. The beds were comfortable and the condo had everything that we needed for our weeklong stay. Access to the mountain and town are a breeze for this location, and the kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Will certainly try to say here again!

What a great condo in the best location imaginable. The gondola is an easy walk and Main Street is even closer. The condo is cozy and well appointed. Check in and check out are very easy. The owner was very welcoming and available by chat.

Super convenient and clean

Great place to stay. Easy to find, one block off Main St so very easy to walk to restaurants, the gondola and even City Market. Place was very clean and had everything we needed for a couple of weeks. We were a little concerned with facing Hwy 9 but traffic drops off considerably after dark and ended up being quiet for sleeping. Quiet building also. Comfy bed and living room furniture. Ken easy to work with and We would definitely recommend staying.

Marlene and I moved to Colorado from Canada with our two daughters Anne and Sarah in 2001. A lot has changed in our lives since that move with the addition of more family (and more family) {and even more family} and now a little white rescue dog named Noel. We have all grown up loving the mountains and the outdoors. Nature sustains and renews us to meet the demands of our regular lives.

Why they chose this property

We first thought about buying a condo in Breckenridge when we first arrived in the United States. We have traveled a lot, skied a lot, hiked and climbed a lot and kept returning to Breckenridge as our favorite jumping off spot. Skiing is world class and summer activities are spectacular. This condo is in the center of all Breckenridge has to offer. We walk or bike anywhere we want to go.

What makes this property unique

We walk to the Gondola to take us up Peak 8 for first tracks on those fresh powder mornings. We drop in for lunch and to warm up grandkids and at the end of the day we stroll to our favorite pub for an apres ski beer.
Summer time is delightful. The bike route is right outside the door and follows the Blue River for some of the best road biking on the planet. We don't mountain bike but I understand that it is unequaled. We do climb and hike and camp all summer. We have yet to bag all of Colorado's 14ers but we are working on it. There is just too much else to do to spend all of our time only hiking high altitude.
