About this property

The miller's house (and his barn)

Welcome to the Moulin de Hinx.

Here is one of our 2 cottages: The house of the Miller

It is an old building completely renovated in 2009. It keeps its thick walls, the roof and some antique beams.

It has 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom (with sink, shower and toilet)

Each room and the living room is equipped with reversible air conditioning: it will provide you with freshness in summer, and heat in winter. The owner will give you directions to make it work when you arrive.

The kitchen is well equipped with ceramic hob, oven, toaster, microwave, kettle, coffee maker and all crockery for 6 people

A privative garden, without any opposite, makes it possible to benefit from calm and nature.

If you have to do a cure in Dax or Préchacq, we can offer you a cure package.

You can store your belongings in the barn which is right next to the house: bicycles, fishing equipment, canoe, etc ... There is room !

Nature, calme et fraicheur

Joli logis caché en pleine nature et tout confort. Trois chambres spacieuses avec salle de bain, bonne literie et climatisation, tout comme la pièce de vie. Superbe jardin, barbecue, tout y est. Un point de départ idéal pour découvrir la Chalosse, à un quart d'heure de Dax, son centre ville animé et ses restaurants. Mais aussi la Côte d'Argent à moins d'une heure et le Pays Basque à peine plus. A recommander sans hésitation.

Just what we we were looking for

The house was perfect for the five of us - two couples and a single person. Plenty of room throughout. It rained most of the time we were there so we spent a lot of time indoors. We were glad for the spacious comfort. Rémi was very communicative before we arrived and very welcoming when we got there. The area is beautiful for hiking.

Wonderful stay at the Miller's House

Our stay at the Miller House was perfect. Remi is a wonderful host and very friendly. The location is peaceful and secluded, has a nice and private terrace, with a small brook at the back of the property. The house is very well equipped with all kitchen appliances you can imagine and airco in every room. If you are not looking for a busy and crowded holiday park it is perfect.

Grand gîte très confortable. Nous avons apprécié les salles de bains pour chaque chambre. C'était très très calme. Accueil super du propriétaire qui était là à notre arrivée et qui a pris le temps de nous expliquer le fonctionnement des équipements. Il nous a informé des marchés, des commerces et des restaurants. La plage est à 40mn, on y est finalement assez vite. Nous sommes très contents de notre séjour.

Encantadora antigua casa de molinero, cuidadosamente rehabilitada, situada en un precioso entorno de bosque y magnifica calma, a tiro de piedra de playas, montaña y diferentes lugares tursiticos, totalmente recomendable, atendida discreta y atentamente por Remy su simpático propietario, mi familia con dos hijos pequeños ha disfrutado mucho del jardin, bosque y arroyo de la propiedad. Esperamos volver pronto!!

Nous avons réservé ce gîte car il nous fallait 3 chambres et être à proximité de Dax. C'est très confortable, car chaque chambre a sa salle de bains. L'environnement est très calme. Beau jardin bien fleuri. Propriétaire très accueillant et de très bon conseil.
