Beautifully located on Cotton Lake just minutes from Detroit Lakes, this 2200 3 bdrm, 2 bath, split level home is lake front on a very level lot and is fully furnished. There are bdrms and bath on each floor for added privacy if desired. Enjoy the open concept Kitchen, living rm. and dining rm. with all having GEORGOUSE! views of the lake front, and a main floor master bedroom and bath. The large family rm. with gas fireplace also has more spectacular views of the lake front, and don't forget the separate laundry rm. and central air. Pull right into a 2 stall attached garage with a large driveway for extra parking for your lake toys. With the lake only 30 to 40 ft. from the house it allows for great supervision inside or out of recreational activities and anyone swimming.

The lake shore has a sugar sand bottom and a dock is provided. Cotton Lake is one of Minnesota's great fishing, recreational lakes, and very popular in the Detroit Lakes area, it has almost 2,000 acres and the north side borders The Tamarac National Refuge. It's a perfect blend of tranquility and recreation close to all the amenities of Detroit Lakes. Also, enjoy a day of tubing down the Ottertail River just 1/2 mi. away or exploring an island, in an island, in an island on the lake. There is boat rental and a pub/restaurant on the lake.

Total Enjoyment

We, parents, son, his wife and children had a good time on Cotton lake. This house had everything we needed. We were unable to rent a boat or kayaks. Having them available would have been even better. Some of the property pictures seem slightly misleading, assuming some furnishing and dock pictures were not updated. No big deal. Chris and Connie have a lovely vacation home to share.

Great Summer Vacation Spot

We stayed here for a week with our children- It was a home away from home. The beach was only a few steps of the patio and it was a nice sandy beach with a dock for your boats or other summer toys. I would recommend this for your next vacation spot. Beautiful home and with a spectacular water front. I would definitely go back.

Fun summer!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Cotton Lake cabin, where we stayed for 6 weeks this summer (2017). The owner (Chris) was very nice and was responsive to any needs that we had. Beautiful setting as well.

Very nice home-perfect for our family

Lovely home. Very convenient. Clean and tidy. Plenty of parking as we had 3 vehicles and a boat. Nice dock which worked out well for our boat. Quick access to Detroit Lakes(about 15 minutes). Great area for long walks. Nice sandy beach. Couldn't ask for more! Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Chris and Connie are caring hosts. Our stay was memorable!
