This is a very nice property, espy good for a coup wanting to get away and relax. The view is good and would be great if they would trim a few young trees that have grown up, block some of the magnificent view. The view from the upper deck is much better than the main level deck where the hot tub is. We would stay here again.

By far, Skyline is a gem in the sky just waiting to be discovered.
By far, Skyline is a gem in the sky just waiting to be discovered. The road in to the property is somewhat of a challenge, but on arriving, you forget about what it took to get there. Plus the remoteness of the cabin and difficult drive in keeps out those individuals that you don't want driving down your road! Great experience and will be back. Third visit to Skyline.

I feel comfortable in saying that this visit was the best we have ever experienced in our @ 8 or 10 visits through Blue Sky, but I say that each time! Skyline Cabin has to rate as one of the best cabins we have ever stayed in, lacking no comforts or furnishings we needed. From the moment we walked in the door, met by great clean surroundings, our experience was one of total relaxation, the main reason for our visit. I felt completely at home and a part of the mountain experience. All of the staff is to be commended, from reservations to maintenance to housekeeping. We enjoyed the 5 days spent in the mountains and plan on making these trips 2 or 3 times per year as long as God continues to bless us. See y'all in October! Always great people to deal with. Seem to enjoy answering our questions as well as our needs. Always a pleasant voice on the phone and tremendous assistance with locating properties. I get the feeling that the reservation staff places themselves in my position and answers our needs as they would like to have their own needs met. Great Job!!

Skyline This was our second stay at skyline as it offers everything we were looking for, i.e. Outdoor jacuzzi, outdoor/indoor fireplace, deck with nice views, pet friendly, outdoor grill and on top of the mountain. Staff at bluesky are very friendly. The cabin was clean and spacious. The only thing that would've been a little helpful (and this is just me being picky) would be to have a few spices for seasoning our food. We absolutely love it here and hope to spend more time in the future!

Skyline Easy to book.
Skyline Easy to book. Slightly treacherous drive, but it was expected and well worth it. "Skyline" had the best view of any cabin we've ever rented!

Skyline Cabin The second you walk in you feel warm and cozy.
Skyline Cabin The second you walk in you feel warm and cozy. Someone has obviously put a lot of thought into how people want to feel. You arrive to the cabin and find the bedroom. There are clean, folded towels with soap and shampoo bottles neatly placed on the beds. We found games for our family to enjoy and the hot tub ready to go. The cabin was clean and well organized. They even had some laundry pods neatly placed in a little tray next to the washing machine. We can't wait to stay again.

Skyline The cabin has wonderful views and beautiful outdoor fireplace.
Skyline The cabin has wonderful views and beautiful outdoor fireplace. It was very comfortable and cozy. The hottub running frequently did make things noisey at night and while sitting on the deck but I realize there is no other place to put it. I wouldn't want to be sleeping in the bedroom beside it. Absolutely a cabin we would return to!
When looking for a cabin, every listing has a shot of the view, taken from a careful angle leaning over the edge of the deck, or in autumn/winter when the foliage isn't blocking the view. Not at Skyline. The entire face of the cabin boasts sweeping views - you even have an unobstructed view from bed! The cabin was clean and comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked. The side deck is the real hero of the property; we spent the majority of our time enjoying the rocking chairs and outdoor fireplace, or enjoying the view from the hot tub and grill on the back deck. The decks are fully closed with a gate, great if you have a dog with you. The internet is fast (a must - this was a working trip for me).
The roads were not as difficult as they initially seemed, and getting to and from the property was a breeze. There are many hikes including waterfalls, vineyards, orchards, and town within an hour's drive. We did not eat out at all but there were some restaurants nearby.
The only cons to this cabin are so minor they are almost not worth mentioning - the cover on the hot tub was broken, so it was a bit of a pain to use. The neighbors were a bit closer than I had hoped. Thankfully they were quiet, but we would have easily heard them if not and you could see onto the neighboring decks from the top deck. The kitchen was a bit dim and the stove surface light did not work.
Overall, we had an incredible trip and I look forward to booking this property again very soon.
The road up was definitely interesting, but absolutely worth it. The house was amazing. Would recommend investing in a better hot water heater and pump. Would also recommend, adjusting doors. Had a momentary scare when we couldn't get a 5 yr old out of the bathroom because the door was stuck.
Awesome cabin and location. Property manager super accommodating. Worth noting, the recommendation for all wheel drive in the cabin description is for a reason. Some steep inclines on the way up including the road the cabin is on. I needed to get enough speed in my front wheel drive to be able to make it up these hills. Unfortunately, If your looking for an address, you probably are not going to be going fast enough. In hindsight, I would have just drove up the to the top of hill the cabin is on and then turned around and slowly drove back down. The cabin is the second cabin from the top of the hill. Once you get to the top, there is a flat area where you can turn around. If you were to continue forward on the flat area you would be on someones property but there is a gate that you could use as a landmark to prevent that.
Skyline is a lovely, well-maintained and well-supplied house in a beautiful setting. There were just two of us but the second, smaller bedroom downstairs was nice for afternoon naps. The predominantly bear-themed decor grows on you, though the interspersed elk, moose and spruce on fabrics were a little uncharacteristic of the southeastern locale. What can you do with textile designers these days? The only thing missing was a standing bear cub toilet paper holder such as we saw the next week in the Adirondacks, available on-line, perfect for amusing grandchildren and frightening small dogs. The kitchen was better-equipped than those in many rental properties, the furniture and beds quite comfortable. We vegetated on the deck, mostly, watching the changing sky, the clouds and their shadows drifting along the valley, puffs of vapor rising from the trees, and one particularly thrilling thunderstorm. Although available, we ignored the audio and video; we ran no errands, did no serious hiking. It was a peaceful, relaxing, restorative weekend. We'd highly recommend Skyline to anyone looking for peace, natural beauty and turmoil-relief. Thanks for your hospitality.

Best View in GA
Amazing cabin. Very secluded and quiet. I've stayed in a lot of cabins in N. GA. This had the best view, period. The inside and outside were clean and welcoming. Our first morning we saw a black bear near the Cabin. It snooped around for a little while, then walked back into the woods. We will certainly stay here again!
I would recommend using a truck or SUV to get to the cabin. The road is not suitable for cars.
