Unlike crowded resort areas, this is where you come to slow down, spread out and actually recharge your battery in the mountains.

The Ranch offers miles of private access to the highly coveted Roaring Fork River, stocked with rainbow and brown trout- something you simply don't find often! Whether you're an experienced angler or just getting started, this is a setting you will want to come back to year after year!

This home is ideal for gathering together while still giving everyone their own space with 2 private master suites upstairs and a spacious bunk room downstairs; which is always a favorite for kids and teens. 3 full bathrooms, laundry room and large closets make it perfect for family vacations, reunions or wedding groups as well.

Fully stocked kitchen that is actually set up for the group chef to cook real meals after a full day outside. The climate controlled garage is set up for active guests with drying racks for ski or fishing gear, as well as bicycles to explore the Ranch or follow the kids over to the neighborhood playground.

Perfectly situated in Carbondale, you will enjoy a more relaxed, authentic Colorado experience-but still very convenient for skiing, hiking, white water rafting and all of the wonderful things Colorado has to offer.

Convenient public transport stops just outside of the neighborhood via RFTA (Roaring Fork Transportation Authority) making it even easier to navigate around without having to take the car!

The property exceeded our expectations, was convenient, comfortable, spacious and very clean which we really appreciated during covid. The kitchen is large and has everything you need to cook meals during your stay. The beds are comfortable and bath/baths are spacious. As a Florida native, I never truly saw snow until I visited Steamboat Springs Colorado in 2004. I fell in love with the area; the weather, the activities, and ironically I got engaged on this trip to my now husband of 20 years! . We always dreamed about having a home in Colorado where we could recharge and enjoy the mountain lifestyle. I love the charm of the small town, the rodeo, the "downtown" area, the lack of traffic jams, and the ability to get to just about anywhere we want at any time without being overwhelmed with the crowds. We found The Ranch at Roaring Fork to be the perfect fit for us. My husband is an avid fly fisherman and now my two sons are learning to love and master this craft as well. We have found The Ranch truly feels like we are home when we are there, not just on a trip in some random town. We hope you will fall in love the same way we have, and make our 2nd home your home away from home as well! I look forward to hearing about your adventures!

Why they chose this property

Carbondale is a great location for us, as it has the charm of small town feel with local restaurants and shops, but convenient to several snow ski resorts. We LOVE the amazing fly fishing as well as miles of areas to walk/hike and bike.

What makes this property unique

We love this house because it truly lives like a home, not a vacation rental. All of the bedrooms are large and the closets are spacious. The kitchen is great for me because I enjoy home cooked meals rather than eating out all the time...we have even cooked Thanksgiving Dinner with no problem. The garage is great for storing gear and keeping the mess outside.

Walk or bike through the neighborhood for fishing, golf, tennis or basketball. It is such a family friendly neighborhood away from all the crowds. We love exploring the nearby towns, and find there is so much to do here year round!
