About this property

A perfect lake front get-away on Lake Keowee in Seneca South Carolina! Relax by the pool overlooking the lake, or on the front porch in the shade doing the same. The pool can be heated for an additional charge.

This single-story home has been newly renovated to include a modern updated kitchen with lots of workspace and dedicated coffee bar.

The kitchen overlooks the pool, deck and almost half mile view up the lake. It is the perfect place to entertain guests, while still being able to keep an eye on the kids in the pool (of course, kids should never swim unsupervised). The backyard is fenced in as well perfect for all your furry friends!

There are 5 bedrooms total sleeping 18 guests in beds. Two have king beds, two have queen beds, and the fifth is the bunk room. It contains 4 bunk beds - two twin over twins, and two twin over fulls.

Out front, the lot is mostly level and covered in grass, perfect for a volley ball net or whatever. There is a large dock to tie your boat to, and a boat ramp on the property to launch and retrieve your boats or jet skis. Alternatively, the marina is only a couple hundred yards up the street, so is the Tiki Hut, a local bar and grill. However, it is private, so you'll need to get a membership in advance.

If you are thinking of renting a boat, contact me. We have a pontoon boat that we rent with the property to qualified persons upon request with an additional charge.

There are many shops and unique restaurants right up the road. With Clemson University about 8 miles away, and even on game day, traffic is not bad from this direction. If the outdoors is for you there are quite a few hiking trials and waterfalls to visit in the nearby area. Chattooga River is only about 30 minutes and offers some fantastic whitewater rafting for any skill level.

Clemson Football Weekend

Spent the weekend with family for a Clemson football game. House is great!! Beautiful porch looking at the lake, nice fenced in backyard for our dog, and a great big kitchen which made for a nice gathering space. It was close to the grocery store and just a quick ride to campus, We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful location and spacious house

Loved this property, beds were comfy, pool great! Manager was very attentive when we called and needed some assistance. House is still under renovations and not quite done but updates are nice, it really needs a deep cleaning of floors but we would stay again.

Best place on the lake.

We have stayed on the lake many time. This place has been the best. Nice quiet cove but close to the main channel. The marina is just on the other side of the peninsula. Close to anything you need. Just an awesome place. We will definitely be staying here again.

Very nice vacation house

Love the one floor living. The bedrooms are spread out which is nice for privacy and noise. Large nicely stocked kitchen. We loved the pool and the lake views! The master bedroom is great with a huge lovely bath. My only complaint is the master bed mattress is too soft.

Best Lake-cation ever

Lake Keowee is absolutely beautiful. Whether skiing, swimming, tubing or just cruising it is a stress free water environment for all ages. The children and teenagers enjoyed the pool and were happy to have their “animal siblings” with them. The floor plan of the house allowed us to separate grandchildren, adults and grandparents. That was a significant plus.

Wonderful Thanksgiving Getaway

The view of the lake was amazing! Sunrises are soooo beautiful! The house was very nice, spacious, and in a location close to everything you could want; restaurants, shopping, hiking trails, lakes all around. The dogs really loved the fenced back yard.

Perfect place for us to stay with our kids and grandkids. We have stayed all over the lake for the last 20 years and really loved the convenience of being close to grocery, restaurants and Clemson. The mountain view in the distance from the property is also surprisingly nice. The fenced yard was also wonderful for kids and pets.

Lakehouse Family Fun

We had a great time. The lake house is absolutely beautiful with beautiful views. The kayaks, provided, were so fun, the kids enjoyed the pool.... but.... the spiders are no joke. We'd clean the webs but a few hours later they were up again, so if you have arachnophobia :) ........ Thank you to the manager who answered all my calls and texts immediately, he was very pleasant. I would definitely rent again.

Great Lake location

We love the home and the location. Within minutes of everything. The view of the lake was great from the big front porch and the pool deck area house well laid out for large groups, driveway large enough to accommodate 5 vehicles. Kitchen was very nice with lots of room and well designed. We had a great time and would definitely rent this property again.

Family Reunion/ Thanksgiving

The property was lovely and perfect for a multigenerational gathering. The property is all on 1 level which was ideal. We were able to have a noisy side with kids and a quieter side for those who need extra space. Jeff was great and very responsive to an early check-in. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. Amazing Spring Break

Yes the kids were popsicles in the pool and lake… but loved it and weren’t slowed down at all! The house is in a great location and was perfect for our extended family get away. All 15 of us plus the 4 fur babies fit perfectly in the not so perfect house, which makes you feel right at home. Who’s place doesn’t need some tender love and care, right? Haha. Kitchen well stocked with all the necessities and the pool just out the kitchen door is absolutely divine for parents and kids alike. Thanks Mr. Ross, for sharing your lake home with us. We hope to be back again one day.

Overall Great Time But A Few Disappointments

The property is definitely going in the right direction and improvements are underway but unfortunately not completed. Observed disappointments, minimal TV service, advertised stereo system not functional, odor in garage, one bath low water pressure, unfinished renovations, no railings on dock, tub master bath not functional, some left over dirt prior occupants, non-functional ceiling fan outside porch. Once these shortcomings are resolved will be a great place at a great price. In its current condition believe price should be discounted.

LakeHouse stay

The property was great. Exactly what you want for fun, relaxing weekend with our big group. The lake was perfect, we blew up a ton of tubes and just floated around near the dock and the pool was a bog hit as well. Plenty of space inside for the whole gang. The kitchen was spacious and the Layout of the Ranch style house was ideal for large parties to spread out. If you need to get in contact with the property owner do not use the VRBO messaging system. They do not response. We figured that out at check in. No access code was sent at all on our check in day (Friday). We got in through an unlocked door. The access code was finally sent on Saturday evening upon me asking for it via text. very odd. hopefully in the future the communication will get better for future rentals. Over all the space was Amazing and Perfect for large groups. I would highly recommend it.

Great pool and dock!

We really enjoyed our stay, but there are a few items I think could help others in making a choice in the future. We LOVED the fact that this property has its own ramp and dock - super convenient! We also had a wonderful time in the inground pool and appreciated being able to bring our dog and relax with the fenced-in backyard. These are luxuries that are hard to find packaged in one place! The kitchen was also well-equipped for our group of 11. There were plenty of dishes and all the cooking items we needed. We found it a little disconcerting that maintenance issues had not been addressed. Although the owner clearly states that the property is NOT in pristine condition, there were things like broken door handles and burners on the stove not igniting that had been mentioned in reviews 9 months ago -- still not addressed. Also not really an easy setup for toddlers and crawling babies. There are some hazards that made it difficult. Those things are no big deal for a group of adults, but bringing babies was not ideal at this house. Overall, it is easy to enjoy this place with the nice pool, good lake access, and stunning views. You just need to know in advance that it is not well maintained.

The pictures and verbiage were misleading. Weeds in gutters, dog hair, mildew, and overall condition was very poor and disappointing. Obviously we won't stay here again. Overpriced isn't even a good description until it gets some maintenance and cleaning

Lake Days

Good place to stay. Perfect for our K-9. Cosmetic attention to property (lawn maintenance, weeds, shrubs) would add so much shine to the grounds as well as new pool loungers… sharp, rusty edges can cause injury. The house is in a PERFECT location and the lake view is spectacular! If you have kids and a pup… this is definitely a place to consider. You can truly feel the warmth of family within this location. The rooms are big, bathrooms are updated (could not get the jets to work on tub) and the covered porch is simply the best!!! The kitchen is truly a focal point. The appliances are all new and were clean. The stove hood was missing the control panel cover and the stove light did not work. There is (2) washers and (2) dryers: perfect for big families!! We wanted to grill but the grill needed major attention and we did not have any grill cleaning materials. We will definitely reserve again and have already passed info along to our friends and family. Thanks for sharing!!

Easter with extended family

The house is perfect for large group - lots of beds and space to put stuff with a big kitchen for gathering. The dock and boat launch were so convenient for the SeaDoo we brought. We stayed in April so the weather was a little chilly to use the pool but it was a beautiful setting. We walked to the Tiki Hut and house is close to grocery stores. We hope to stay again!
