About this property
Private Forest Paradise in Hubbards NS. Close to beaches & Halifax
*Minimum 28 nights*
Located in Hubbards - just 35 minutes from Halifax, and 15 minutes from Tantallon - my forest house is the perfect home base for remote working or a coastal beach holiday.
The house itself is one of 3 on a private forested road. The property borders the popular "rail trail", where you can walk or bike to grocery stores and other amenities. (bike rentals available in the area).
Open concept living room & kitchen, with large L-shaped couch & a papasan chair for lounging. Bonus room with laundry, desk, skylights & hammock.
Large loft master bedroom with big south-facing windows. With pillowtop king size bed and lots of storage for personal items. AC/heat unit in bedroom for maximum comfort.
Second bedroom is located below the loft, with direct access to lower level of deck. This room has lots of windows for natural bright light, and beautiful forest views
Great starting point for days spent exploring Nova Scotia's South Shore coastline, or for beach bumming all day in the summer (just one kilometer from 2 great beaches!).
With 2 levels of front decks, there is plenty of outdoor space to lounge in comfort with privacy.
You'll be surrounded by beautiful gardens and tall Nova Scotia forest.
Situated along the beautiful south shore of Nova Scotia, the 'Lighthouse Route' is one of the most scenic drives along the coast. Driving in either direction will give you beautiful winding country roads, with miles of Atlantic Ocean at your side. Simply breathtaking.
This is a place to relax, feel comfortable as though you were home.. enjoy the magic of the gardens and nature at it's finest.
Ideal for a romantic couples getaway or a family beach vacation - for those who want a central home base near the city, but nestled in nature.
**monthly stays include only a starter supply of toilet paper, waste bags, dishwasher tabs, shampoo, etc Cleanings are not included during your stay but cleaning supplies are available to use at your convenience. The home will be cleaned before and after your stay at no charge. Additional cleanings can be arranged for an extra fee if requested
Please note: woodstoves are for decor only, their use is prohibited. However this can be discussed for winter use for longer term guests.
*TV has Netflix to be used with your own account
*BBQ utensils included, charcoal not included
*Hammock use at your own risk
Most artwork is by local artist Marie-Christine Delanée, each piece is for sale and courier shipping can be easily arranged.

About the host
Hosted by Daniela Rojo

I'm an entrepreneur who loves to travel. I live in Montreal these days but always enjoy going back to my forest home to spend time in beautiful Nova Scotia.
Why they chose this property
Family friends built this property, and I've been in love with it since I was a little girl. There's something truly special about the place. The proximity to beaches & local amenities like the Hubbards Farmers Market and the famous Shore Club make this location ideal while also being close to Halifax.
What makes this property unique
Nestled on 6+ acres of private forest, this is truly a nature sanctuary. With the rail trail passing by the property you can bike or walk easily and safely away from the main road.
