My family had a really nice stay at Ryan's place. The beds were comfortable and the area is quiet. We loved the pool, hot tub and being a short walk from the private beach. We were three couples and kids and it was a perfect spot. Only reason it isn't five stars is we had AC and wifi issues. But the owners were very responsive.

As Matt shared, the AC stopped working briefly but we were able to get a technician out there right away to resolve the issue. The internet outage was due to a rare utility service disruption in the area, which lasted about 18 hours. While it was outside of our control, we completely understand how inconvenient and frustrating that can be. We’re grateful for your feedback and hope to host you again in the future!

Pictures were a lot nicer than reality

The house seemed very rundown when we arrived. Lots of upkeep needed. Rusty fans, peeling paint, dirty patio furniture, broken doors, rusty bikes. I could go on and on but you get the picture. We won’t be booking this place again.

The coastal salt air environment presents ongoing challenges for maintaining outdoor furnishings, and we regularly replace items like fans and furniture. The bikes are also scheduled for replacement. As for the sliding door, it has since been repaired—unfortunately, we experienced a significant delay due to the need for specialty hurricane-rated parts. We’re always working to improve the guest experience and appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention.

My family and I stayed for a week during Fall Break. We loved everything about this amazing property. Just steps away from the beach, great pool/hot tub, with plenty of outdoor area for dining and relaxing. Kids enjoyed having all the beach toys. Indoor furnishings are comfy, kitchen well equipped/stocked, everyone slept well on very nicely appointed beds. Only thing that we missed was a bathtub for smaller kids. We will definitely book another stay!

Why they chose this property

We bought our home in this small gated community because of its lowest beach density on all of 30A -- which means it's never crowded on the beach and there's no such thing as rows of umbrellas. We love to relax here with family and enjoy the amazing outdoor pool and hot tub area (with outdoor tv). There is also a dune lake in our neighborhood that's fun to explore! We often walk or bike to Alys or Rosemary Beach for morning donuts and coffee with our girls and then spend the day on the beach and at the pool. We have already created so many wonderful memories in our handful of vacations down there.

What makes this property unique

We love that this house is in a quiet neighborhood with its own private, secluded beach, but still close enough to ride bikes to Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, and The Hub where we can enjoy wonderful restaurants and activities. This community truly is a wonderful find!
