Watch spectacular sunsets from the comfort of your lanai at this two-bedroom Kahana condo, an oceanfront escape on the shores of West Maui with two private balconies, shared access to an outdoor pool and grilling area, and a wonderful location right on the ocean - just take the elevator to the first floor and walk 20 feet to access it!

You'll find this condo on the fifth floor of the Hololani Resort, an oceanfront property with access to the sand and a pool that overlooks the ocean. Spend your days whale-watching on your private lanai, shopping in Lahaina, and swimming and snorkeling in the clear waters off Ka'anapali Beach a few miles south. There are great hiking trails and golfing just north of you, plus shops, restaurants, and bars all within walking distance from the building.

The living space is bright and breezy, with a mirrored wall to reflect the sunshine and sliding glass doors that open to both lanais. Begin each morning with sliced local pineapple in the kitchen, a fresh bathing suit from the washer/dryer, and a dip in the pool downstairs. Use the shared gas grill to cook Hawaiian-inspired pork, dine outside with a view of the sun setting over both Molokai and Lanai, and spend the evening in the company of free WiFi, two flatscreen cable TVs, and a DVD player.

Best Condo Ever!

Our families rented 5 condos here while we celebrated our daughter's wedding at the Pineapple Chapel. We loved our room the most. The view was awesome. The beautiful ocean theme decorations added to the atmosphere. Everything was perfect! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful! Hopefully we can visit again in the future.

Funtastic Experience

Facing the ocean from 2 patios. Wake up to and go to bed with sea turtles, butterflies, rainbows, and whales a football field or two away! Return form the many beautiful beaches (We chose Napilini Beach, Kapalua Bay and finally really found Flemings Beach to our liking!) to rinse off and jump in the heated pool. BBQ or fully equipped kitchen leaves you equipped to make the best meals. Friendly neighbors and comfortable and clean condo is recommended as we simply enjoyed all aspects of Maui.

Peaceful waves

The property had amazing views and we were able to listen to the waves crash. The only issue was the washing machine. There was even a sign that says if it stops working press the start button again. After several attempts, we got it to work. However the second time we used it then it would not work at all and I had to take out wet clothes and attempt to dry them individually.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: B504 was a nice unit but the hot water in the shower only stayed warm for about 45 secs. The headboard in the master bedroom is very warn and sheds. The couch needs vacuuming especially the back. The sliding door to the second bedroom need to be stabilized so they don't move at night and make noise. The elevators were under repair but did not cause a problem. Thanks for the Hololani bags which were very handy when shopping.

Perfect Vacation Spot

- Everything was set to expectations - There were enough kitchen utensils. - Until was clean and tidy - The Vacasa staff was super friendly. Would definitely recommend this place for a vacation. Both the balconies have perfect ocean view. Both the bedrooms are private. They have board games inside cabinets and two beach chair in each bedroom closet

This condo is in a great location - close to the town of Lahaina, good beaches, beautiful walking trails up around the Ritz-Carlton, walk-able to the coffee shop, or meals at the Beach House. The views are spectacular. The only way you would get a closer view is to be in the middle of the ocean on a cruise ship. That being said, it's pretty noisy, especially since we kept windows and sliding glass doors open all night to keep the place cool without having AC. Overall, it was a great place -- comfortable and convenient. On site staff were very friendly and helpful as well.

The best view

Great property. Perfect for 2 couples. There is not a better ocean view anywhere. Sea turtles daily and great whale watching. The unit is well equipped with everything you will need. There is no beach in the winter months but there is a beach 2 complexes away which is a short walk.

What a view!

The expansive balconies (2!) provided seemingly endless views of the ocean and the opportunity for daily sitings of whales and turtles--numerous hours of entertainment. Condo was comfortable and not too fussy with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Bed/linens/pillows allowed for good night's sleep. Only suggestion, install a sunshade off the smaller bedroom balcony to cut the afternoon sun and heat. Hope to visit again in future!

Absolutely breathtaking view from both lanais - one can be entranced for hours by the sound of the ocean waves and watching the massive sea turtles. Only recommendation to owners would be to replace covers on dining room chairs as 3 of the 4 of them were ripped.

The Hololani Resort is my favorite place on Maui

The resort is not to big, it's on the water and has a great pool. It's only a few mins to Lahaina. This was my 3rd time staying at this property.

Great views, watch whales from the balcony!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at this property. Two balconies with amazing sunset views. Could see whales and turtles frequently. Location was great and within a short drive of Lahaina shops and restaurants and Kaanapali beaches. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you'd need for a homemade meal. Only issue is the doors separating bedrooms don't offer the most privacy. We would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely spot for a Hawaiian Getaway

My friends and I really enjoyed staying at this condo. The surrounding views of the ocean is definitely the best feature of the place. From the balcony you can sip your coffee while taking in the views and the sight of rainbows. Check-in process was a breeze and the location is easy to get to. The only downsides worth mentioning are the lack of privacy in the bedrooms due to how thin the doors are and the door to one of the bathrooms cannot be closed, exacerbating the lack of privacy. It would be great if the owner could at least fix the bathroom door.

Dream come true

This home was perfection in all its glory. The cleanliness and appearance was immaculate and stunning. The view from all rooms made our stay feel magical. Every morning as the sun would rise, we would witness a sea turtle surfing through the waves. The sounds of the ocean was harmonic as we rested the evening away. I wished it to never end but during my time at this wonderful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom getaway, the 3 of us enjoyed the beauty of Maui. It was our daughter and my first time in Hawaii and this place is a highly recommended place. Thank you for sharing this magnificent experience!

Loved our stay. We sat on the patios every morning and watched the amazing views of the ocean. The condo was very clean and maintained well. Loved having a washer and dryer in the unit. All appliances were in good working condition. It was nice to have a fridge with a water dispenser and ice maker. The pool was lovely and the gas grills were cleaned regularly. Beach access was limited due to the seawall of large sand bags placed to help with beach erosion. Certainly understand the property owners in the area trying to protect there property. The condo was quiet and relaxing. AC would have been an added plus to our stay but we were able to cool the condo off with the fans provided. Of notation the bedrooms were separated by louvered doors, and ornamental screens so privacy could be a concern for some. Definitely would stay at this unit again.
