Casa La Villita - Stunning Mexican Villa, Ocean Views, Steps to beach, 4 Staff

La Villita is a beautiful bright and colourful Villa filled with true traditional Mexican charm. It is the perfect place for groups of people who are looking to spend time together, be it family reunions, intimate weddings, corporate retreats, a group of friends or small retreat style workshops. With 26 500 square feet there is space for gathering people together and when needed many small areas to get away if you want privacy. Take time to relax in the pool and enjoy the waterfall, ease your cares away in the hot tub or enjoy sunning your body on the upper terrace. In the evening enjoy the drink of your choice under the rooftop palapa wet bar whilst watching the sunset over the horizon.

La Villita has a total of 14 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms and can be rented with as few as 5 bedrooms. Our Staff of 4 to 6 depending on the size of group, is here to make your stay memorable. Our cook is available to prepare two meals a day for you Monday thru Saturday.. Our guests pay for their own food and beverage. We can, however, do your shopping for an additional charge and receipts will be given to you daily, and you reimburse the House Manager in cash. Our staff can arrange tours and will be happy to attend to any special requests. Spa services and private yoga classes can be arranged on site.

Walk the shoreline into town in 20 minutes and enjoy one of Puerto Vallartas fine restaurants, dance the night away at one of the night clubs, or take time to stroll down the Malecon, take in some of the great shopping and art galleries.

A building has been built to the left of La Villita, completed in 2021, this is not currently reflected in the pictures on this site. There are still views of the ocean from the villa towards the north.

Villa vacation

House is beautiful. Easy walk to beach. The house staff is excellent. Vini is most welcoming and most accommodating. Pool is awesome. Roof top deck with amazing views of the pacific ocean. Perfect place for big groups. Definite recommendation!! Son loc 10-10-10!!!

Paradise!!!

This was a big family trip involving 16 adults and 1 child. This place is AMAZING, comfortably accommodating all of us with ease. Property is immaculate, can't ask for better staff, and location is convenient. Karla, the owner, made sure our experience was positive throughout the stay. If you are looking for a place to accommodate a large group of people, no need to look further. We'd love to return every year, but life will unfortunately get in the way!!!

A perfect location for a Yoga Retreat

We brought 16 people to Casa La Vallita this February. It was perfect. In the morning we did yoga on the roof top deck overlooking the ocean. Beautiful! A perfect place for watching the sunset as well. In the afternoon we did our yoga practice on the beautiful labyrinth in the shade. We also walked the labyrinth as a group and many did it individually as well. While there we watched the garden being transformed. The villa is perfect for a group. Lots of places for privacy. The decorations and furnishings are all beautiful. The pool is a wonderful place to spend the afternoon. It's a lovely walk along the beach into the Romantic Zone. And the staff is AMAZING! The food was wonderful and they were even able to provide us with delicious vegan meals. We will definitely be back!

Dream Family Reunion

Casa La Villita couldn't have been more perfect for us - a family of 26. To have space for everyone to sleep, a huge dining area and several areas around the property to gather was exactly what I was hoping for when I booked our Thanksgiving family reunion in Puerto Vallarta. The Villa itself was enchanting - very authentic, comfortable and colorful. The staff was amazing - the food delicious and they could not have been more accommodating. I think what we enjoyed the most was that we were all able to be together without being surrounded by a lot of other people - like we've experienced taking a cruise, for instance. Everyone had their own space yet we were able to eat together, play in the pool area, sit in the hot tub and play games every evening as a family. How often does an extended family get to have time like this? It was very convenient to just be across the street from the beach and we took advantage of the kayaks that were available to us. We also had "meditation mornings" where we walked the labyrinth together. Truly magical. Karla was easy to work with answered all my questions promptly. This was a once in a lifetime experience for us and we'll be basking in the memories we made for many years to come.

Obscured view and sunshine

Unfortunate that such an incredible Villa has little view remaining and no sunshine after 2:30 pm during the winter months because of the gigantic condo/hotel built 2 years ago on the beach directly in front of of the Villa, blocking 75% of the view and sunshine. This was not made evident from the posted photos. Our sympathy is with the host, but that doesn’t help the situation. We were constantly looking for sunshine and warmth. There was absolutely no possibility of seeing the amazing sunsets advertised. The sun set about 6:30 and should have been incredible from any one of the amazing decks. The villa itself, staff and meals were top notch. Our family of 22 ranging in age from 3-75years felt very safe and well cared for. We were just very disappointed that we did not have the real scoop on the condo and its impact on the sunshine we were seeking. When we spoke to the host regarding our disappointment, she commented that she always tried to speak about this with the clients up front. Not sure how she missed contacting us as we had book the villa over 1 year in advance. We also had trouble accessing the wifi in many areas of the villa. Again a disappointment for such a top rated villa. If you’re looking for winter sunshine with an ocean view and sunset, this villa is not for you. If you’re looking for summer shade with little view, it might be perfect!

Great Staff and Food

Our stay at Casa La Villita was great. Karla was quick to respond to questions and the house staff was amazing. Fili was absolutely accommodating to our every request or need. The food was OUTSTANDING! The food selection is great and everything we tried was seriously amazing. The villa was clean and housekeeping was excellent. It was great being able to keep our group of 28 friends under one roof for our wedding trip. Thank you for everything!

Wonderful Girls Weekend

This Villa is perfect for large groups. We had 22 in our party and the staff was amazing. The food was outstanding. Fili and Victor were very attentive and willing to go above and beyond. Claudia ironed everyone's items for our photo shoot. We couldn't have asked for more accommodating staff. Karla was very responsive throughout the planning process and understanding of concerns I expressed. Everyone was pleased with our stay.

The staff makes it all worth it

The house is amazingly clean, every detail is just like the pictures. Perfect for large groups, we were 26. You don't have to worry about anything, the staff will go and buy groceries and drinks. They will take care of you so you can just relax and enjoy. Also the chef Maria is very flexible on the menu, she can cook anything! Location is minutes away from downtown restaurants and bars. Amazing sunset views in the rooftop terrace.

Amazing home and well maintained and staffed

We came down to get married. We brought 28 family members and loved the size of the house. We were greeted with a great staff that took very good care of us and our needs. Fili and Victor are the best. They are very friendly and helped with all our needs. Fili set up activities for everyone to do and recommended they best spots to visit and enjoy. Louis was also helpful and attentive. Our chef Maria was top notch, she cooked for 28 to 33 people on a given day and the food was amazing. Our guests stated they preferred the food at the house and were very impressed. Karla was also great. She was always there to answer any question I had. She also helped me get in touch with trusted vendors for our wedding and helped to make the process less stressful for a bride to be. I would definitely come back and stay as well as many of our family and friends. I wish I was sitting by the pool having one of Fili’s Pina colodas. Thank you for making our wedding beautiful and very memorable!!!!

Absolutely stunning, the staff are INCREDIBLE. Will return!

Truly the trip of a lifetime. We went for my bachelorette party and 30th birthday. There were 19 girls and we had the time of our lives. Fili, Victor and the rest of the staff are THE BEST at what they do. The food is incredible, the casa is STUNNING and we will be back!

Our stay at Casa La Villita was incredible. The house was exceptionally beautiful and clean. Access to the beach was quick and easy. Fili and Victor and the rest of the staff are hands down the best anyone could ask for. They accommodated each and every request regarding everything from travel, excursions, snacks, drinks, meals and anything else you could possibly imagine. The entire staff did a unbelievable job during our entire stay. Each meal prepared by the staff was amazing. Just when we thought the meals could not be any better, the cook surprised us with an even better meal than the one before. Do yourself a favor and visit Casa La Villita AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!! I know I will.

Simply amazing!!

This was my 3rd trip to casa la villita and I brought 10 family members ranging from 13 to 67 years old. Everyone had a blast. Karla was attentive to all our needs before we arrived and Fili, Victor and the rest of the staff were amazing during our stay. The food was one again fantastic. Each meal was better than the one before.

Unbelievable All Around

Twelve adult family members were traveling for a birthday celebration. From the up front planning (Pie In The Sky) Cupcakes to Staff Greeting and Meals, any travel/flight time was forgotten in an hour. The staff was amazingly attentive, drinks served before could finish the last round! The Lobster, Carne Asada and Adobada tacos were incredible. The semi-private beach was a stones throw from the endless balcony spaces of the villa. Also, downtown was a 12 minute walk along the beach path. Everyone left ready to return, can't say enough.

The best place EVER!

My partner and I have been coming to Puerto Vallarta for several years now and always thought it was incredible, but no experience has ever been quite like this one at Casa La Villita. It is hard to know where to start... the food, the service, the view or the Villa itself. Fili and the staff were great the whole time and served us the best food no matter what we ordered. They handled any requests and did it with a smile. The best part is everyone like being around them and by the end of the trip, they seemed more like friends than service providers. For most of the people, and we had 30, that stayed at the Villa said it was the best vacation they had ever had I can completely agree. The only negative is that the bar is set so high for any future vacations we all might take. If you are looking for the best place in PV this is it!

OMG - I love this place!

This villa is amazing! The location was a skip away from the water, the views blew my mind! I was co-leading a group retreat here and it was the most magical experience with everything we needed. Karla is so 'on it' with such attention to detail which I so appreciate. The villa is both big and spacious yet cozy and communal depending on your mood. The staff was beyond incredible, so attentive and personable. I miss 4pm guacamole and all the chef prepared sun set dining. Can't wait to go back!

The Ultimate Oasis for an Intimate Retreat and Luxury Living

I facilitated a women's retreat at Casa La Villita and could not have been more thrilled with the caliber of care, service and amenities we received. The on-site staff was continually attentive to our daily needs, and went over and above all expectations when they served our special 'blind folded dinner' which I'd curated for my group. Karla is a dream to work with - she's thoughtful, attentive to detail, generous and kind. The workshop room we gathered in daily has beautiful light and views of the luscious garden. It was perfect for the kind of healing work we were doing. I'll definitely be facilitating the next retreat there and can't wait to return!

Only superlatives!

Wow, it's hard to explain how wonderful our experience was. We were six families, with kids aged 12 to 18, and I think we ALL agreed it was our best vacation ever, thanks to the this home. Before the trip, Karla (the owner) could not have been more kind and helpful. She was so responsive, even once picking up the phone to call me to make sure my questions were adequately answered. Once there, oh my goodness! The house overwhelmingly beautiful, with room to either be together, spread out, stay active, or relax. We could all do what we wanted, when we wanted. But what made it even more special was the amazing staff, led by Fili. They are there to assist you all day (and yet not intrusive at all), so don't underestimate how important it is to have folks as lovely as them helping to make your trip perfect. Which it pretty much was. The food was excellent and we loved the proximity to town so we could stay at home, or go in and out, as we pleased. Casa La Villita really afforded us the best vacation we could have imagined.

The Best

We have had several vacations over the years in Mexico, but this one was by far the best. The home is amazing where everyone can come together for meals, fun by the pool or Happy Hour on the Deck. If you need a little piece and quite though you can sneak off to a corner and get you rest. The Staff were terrific too going above and beyond in taking care of us every step of the way. I would not hesitate recommending Casa La Villita to anyone.

Amazing Experience!

Our time at Casa La Villita was above and beyond our expectations! The house itself is stunning with plenty of well appointed rooms to spread out in. We were 14 people with 4 children under 7 and it is hard to say who enjoyed the house more. From our children swimming all day long to adult siestas and laying around one of the many balconies with stunning ocean views cocktail in hand. Fili, Victor and the rest of the staff made us all feel very welcome and the service and food was outstanding. The location and proximity to a beautiful beach area and short walk into old town meant there was never a shortage of things to do for those who wanted to venture outside of the house. The coolest thing about it is you simply didn't need to do anything but enjoy the house and amazing amenities that came with it. It will be hard to go back to a hotel or all inclusive after this experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone. We will be back!

Best vacation ever!

Where to start...from the moment we first contacted Karla to inquire about renting her villa, we received outstanding service with quick response times. She was beyond wonderful to work with taking the time to answer all of our questions and helping us with suggestions for meals and excursions. This trip was for our extended family of 12 with ages ranging from 17 to 74. From the moment we arrived at Casa La Villita, we just knew this was going to be our home for the next week! Fili met us at the driveway and gave us the grand tour, margaritas made by Victor soon followed, then chips and guacamole from Marie to our beautiful rooms that Claudia had ready for us! The villa has plenty of space and has amazing views from all of the terraces! The staff was beyond attentive helping us with everything: airport shuttles, booking excursions, scheduling masseuses, meal planning etc. All of our meals and snacks were fabulous and we have some picky eaters in the group! Being able to sit together for breakfast and dinner without fighting loud restaurants or dealing with reservations for 12 was the best! We also loved the close proximity to downtown Puerto Vallarta - most of us walked it, others took a quick cab ride. The beach was beautiful and the kayaks were a hit! This trip exceeded our expectations on every level - all 12 of us agree! A perfect week celebrating Christmas a little early!

Holiday Paradise

We had reserved Casa La Villita for our family gathering of 12 prior to Christmas. Our family flew in from all over the USA and we had several trips to be coordinated to and from the airport. The staff had all covered arranging transportation and handled without a hitch. Our meals were excellent and Fili and rest of the staff were very friendly and spoiled us during our stay. All the suites are very well appointed and comfortable and the villa is a beautiful compound that provides privacy, a pool with waterfall and excellent ocean views from its terraces. I would highly recommend to anyone to stay at Casa La Villita when visiting Puerto Vallarta.

AMAZING PLACE TO STAY!!

I had a group of 17 people stay here for a vacation for 3 nights and I can't express how amazing Casa La Villita was. Our experience was truly amazing, the staff was attentive and exceptional. The pictures don't do this property justice, the views of the ocean and sunset are phenomenal. We watched the sunset each night on the top level. The food was delicious and whenever we needed anything Philly and his staff were right on point.
