Welcome to our exquisite lake house retreat, a destination where tranquility meets comfort just an hour's drive from Anchorage or a mere 10 minutes from Wasilla. Your journey to this haven is effortlessly guided by any navigation app, leading you along a scenic, paved highway with the a brief stretch of forested dirt road to your destination.

Upon arrival, you'll find two conveniently located guest parking spaces, setting the stage for your seamless transition into relaxation. Ascend a brief staircase to the entrance, where an electronic keypad awaits, facilitating a smooth self-check-in to the second level.

As you step onto the expansive south-facing deck, a breathtaking vista of the lake unfolds before you. This outdoor deck is equipped with a gas grill and ample seating, providing the perfect setting for both relaxation and dining.

Inside, you'll discover two thoughtfully appointed bedrooms, each adorned with comfortable queen mattresses. The two bathrooms offer indulgence, with one featuring a rain shower and soaking tub combination. Hand and body soaps, shampoo, and high-quality towels await, ensuring a pampered stay.

For added convenience, a fully equipped kitchen awaits, featuring a full-size refrigerator, electric range and oven, dishwasher, microwave, and an array of small appliances including two coffee makers (single cup and 12 cup drip), a blender, rice cooker, and crock pot. Stainless steel pots and pans, knives, and utensils complete the ensemble for most culinary needs.

Should you require additional sleeping arrangements, with advance notice, we can arrange for an inflatable twin bed to be placed in the living room.

Your comfort is our top priority, and we encourage you to reach out should you have any needs during your stay. Nearby, a mile away, you'll find gas stations, groceries, and enticing restaurants, with Three Bears being a recommended stop for provisions and outdoor gear.

Blodgett Lake, stretching a mile long, invites you to a serene environment with a 15hp restriction on motorized vehicles. Abundant birdlife and rainbow trout make the lake a haven for paddling, wildlife observation, and relaxation. Fishing enthusiasts will find joy in the lake, especially during the spawning season in late August to September. We provide fishing poles, tackle, kayaks, a canoe, and a pedal boat, complete with recommended life jackets for your exploration of the lake.

Inside the lake house, unique features await your discovery, including a striking wall of locally curated rock surrounding the wood stove and a kitchen crafted from Alaskan Birch trees. To kickstart your day, complimentary coffee and tea are provided, and a well-stocked grocery store is just minutes away for any additional needs.

Our commitment to sustainability and health is reflected in the quality of our drinking water, sourced directly from our on-site well. Please be assured that our water is of excellent quality, eliminating the need for bottled water. We encourage you to enjoy the pure and refreshing taste straight from the tap.

As summer approaches, please be aware of common burning bans, potentially restricting campfires on the premises. Your understanding and compliance with local regulations are greatly appreciated.
