Valdichiana Charming Villa

Villa Cometa is a private villa for 8 positioned in a sunny spot on a hill in the heart of the Valdichiana affording beautiful views of the classic Tuscan landscape.
It is a convenient location should you wish to explore the region further, very close to Arezzo and Cortona but other historical and artistic towns are also easily reached, such as Florence, Siena, Perugia, Montepulciano and Assisi.

The villa itself can be found within a 25 hectare estate producing grapes and olives for its own wine and oil. On the premises there is another villa (300m far from Villa Cometa). The villa has a large open garden with plenty of space for kids to run around in and a private pool with sun loungers and umbrellas. This means it is blissfully quiet and a real refugefrom the hectic pace of daily life.



Interior

Skilfully restored to keep its ancient charm intact Villa Cometa has a warm atmosphere as well as a solemn dignity. Lovely features include the exposed wooden beams, terracotta flooring and stone fireplace, which are combined with wooden furnishings for a real Tuscan style.

The ground floor is home to the large living-dining room with a cozy fireplace, dining table and fully-equipped kitchenette to meet all your self-catering needs, including an oven, hobs etc. Also on this level are 2 of the 3 bedrooms, which are one double bedroom with en suite bathroom and a twin bedroom. On the first floor is the final bedroom with its own furnished balcony ideal for a quiet moment to yourself with a good book. There is room to accommodate two further guests upon request.

All bedrooms, in spite of their traditional style, have been fitted with discreet modern amenities- satellite television, individually-controlled air conditioning/heating and hairdryer.

Furthermore, cooking lessons are organized on the estate in a designated professional kitchen, certain to make for a fun afternoon. You´ll learn the secrets of Tuscan cooking and put your knowledge to practice preparing various dishes and a dinner to be enjoyed that evening. Wine tours are another option.
Finally, the friendly welcome from the staff and excellent service throughout your stay will complete a wonderful holiday, individual attention paid to every guest to ensure you have everything you need.
