Revelstoke - Al's Escape

Al’s Escape has a modern yet cozy feel which is perfect for a small group or family. It is located in the Mackenzie Village complex, only 3-minutes from Revelstoke Mountain Resort. This is a ground floor unit with a private entrance adjacent to its private garage. It has a covered patio and heated basement storage area for skis and gear. No need to leave your furry friends behind either, Al's is pet friendly (fee applicable). No stairs and a drop in day-care nearby make it ideal for families or those with limited mobility. A shuttlebus links it with the resort and downtown.
The condo features a beautiful open concept main area with a living room, dining table, and full kitchen. The space is well lit with natural light from the glass sliding doors leading out to the condo's private patio. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other bedroom can be set up as a king or two twins. The condo also has a full Jack and Jill style bathroom with heated floors. A delight for your mountain holiday!


Amenities: Secure private garage for gear storage/smaller vehicles, private outdoor patio with BBQ and outside seating; electric fireplace, heated bathroom floors, washer/dryer, additional basement gear storage, private entrance.
Condo Layout: The first bedroom has one king bed that can be split into two twins upon request (please contact us at least 72 hours prior to check in). Second bedroom has one queen bed. There is one full bathroom.
Parking: There is designated parking for one regular sized vehicle in the private garage. Garage clearance is approximately 7'3" in height, and 7'6" width. Large SUV's and Trucks will need to park in visitor parking, which is available on a first come first serve basis. Trailer parking is strictly prohibited. If you need additional parking for trailers or extra vehicles please contact one of our knowledgeable team members to assist you.
Bike/gear storage: There is a private garage which can be used to store gear, vehicle, or both (space permitting). The unit also has an allocated secure heated storage room in the basement of the complex which can be used to store bikes, skis/boards, boots, golf clubs, etc...

Great location

Super location for access to the resort via a short drive and into town for nightlife. The garage is small but good for keeping the car out of the snow and saving time in the morning for fresh tracks. The unit is larger than I expected and I wish we had invited others to join us. Overall highly recommended and I would search this location out again next year.

Great condo, perfect location

Clean and spacious, but best of all, such a short driving distance to all the amenities. I never felt like parking at the mountain was a nuisance. We had a garage for that we kept all our skis and luggage in. Everything was convenient.

Perfect home base for a Revelstoke ski trip

Very nice little ground level condo perfectly located for a small group (~2) or small family (~4) ski trip to Revelstoke. It's about a 4 minute drive to the slopes and not much into town for dinner, groceries, etc. The condo feels brand new and was very comfortable. Everything worked great. Double-check the listed address (Google had trouble), and the kitchen could use a small frying pan, but other than that, no complaints! We would definitely stay here again.

Everything we needed!

Al’s Escape had everything we needed - comfy beds, delicious coffee, a garage, and a huge secure gear storage room. Definitely recommend for a stay in Revelstoke! I will say that if you have a vehicle that is bigger than a compact car then it will not fit in the garage. There are some visitor parking spots in front of the building, and even if they are full there is plenty of on street parking very close by so not a big deal at all :)

Great place & perfect spot !

The place was very clean, had everything we needed, and was in a great location. There was one discrepancy in the listing, it said two double beds, but they are definitely singles. As well, if you are staying during a busy time, parking was a little challenging. There is a small garage that fits a car or small SUV and the property manager said there was another spot for us (these spots are marked visitor). The downside is they are not specifically for you, so every evening, by the time we got back from our daily adventures, we did not have a place to park as we drove a truck. So be aware if you are bringing multiple vehicles or a trailer. We still had great sleeps, enjoyed our stay, would recommend and come back again.

Clean, modern stay, loud however.

The condo is very modern, cute and decorated nicely. Very clean inside and nicely furnished. We were there during a hot spell and with no A/C it was very warm but the condo management team brought us a fan which was appreciated. Current construction on main street has made traffic reroute so it was very loud and you can here the upstairs tenants quite easily. Typical condo life however. Parking right in the garage is easy and convenient, not a ton of visitor parking if you have more than two vehicles.
