The venue was perfect for our company retreat! The booking process was easy and straightforward, the host was accommodating, and the venue was very clean and spacious. The surrounding landscape and venue grounds were absolutely beautiful and provided multiple opportunities to fish, kayak, observe wildlife and gather around a campfire. We would definitely stay here again!
Tucker Lodge was perfect place for our church youth retreat! The bunk rooms, kitchen, great areas, and outdoor space were more then we could have hoped for. The host was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!
Upon entering the property we knew it would accommodate our needs. There was plenty of beds, seating and a a chef kitchen! My family was elated that we would be in a setting that we all can spend time with each other, reminisce and have fun! Glad that we stayed here and would recommend this property.
Our group had about 40 people between the ages of 0-77. We had plenty of space for everyone. The facilities were great. The property manager was very responsive when we needed them. The lake is beautiful and access to it was great. We enjoyed our stay and would have loved to stay an additional day if circumstances had allowed.
While looking for a handicap accessible rental for my group home residents, I found this. The owner was super accommodating. There are fold down bath benches in the bunk shower rooms. And the bedrooms with just 2 twins worked wonderfully for my total care individuals that require the use of a Hoyer lift for transfers. The pantry and kitchen were very well stocked which was greatly appreciated. When planning for 30+ people you tend to forget items. Doorways are wide enough for wheelchair access. And the views are amazing.
Oh it was just wonderful! Pictures do not do it justice! Everything was as they told us. Dock needs a little repair. But we made it without using it. Such a great lodge. Family together for 4 days. We were not right on top of each other. Just a tip. If you have small children. Have them in the rooms away from the kitchen. On the other end if the lodge. We had a chatty group! Lots of laughter!!
We stayed at Tucker Lodge for a family reunion. It was perfect! We had 30 people with ages ranging from 67 to 10 months. There was something for everyone. Josh was great with communication both before and during our stay. The kitchen was very well supplied and we loved how big it was and open to the great room. There were 2 wings with 2 bunk rooms and 1 private room on each side. Great for a a large group and we were able to separate those who were more noisy from those who preferred a more quiet space. I would highly recommend water shoes for those who venture down to the lake. It is remote so I would also recommend shopping before you get there. Once there you won't want to leave anyway. It is in a beautiful setting with a large variety of activity options. I can't think of anything we did not love about this place. I would highly recommend it!
We took a large group of 40 singles/ speakers and leaders to this property for a 4 day/3 night retreat. It was perfect with the 4 bunk rooms (5 bunk beds in each room) and two separate rooms for the leaders, each with two twin beds. The leader spaces also had private baths. The bunk rooms each had their own bathroom with two showers, two potties and 3 sinks with a large generous wall mirror. The facility was clean and well maintained and the staff was easily accessible if we had questions.
When we arrived each bed was made with sheets/blanket/pillow and had a towel and washcloth for each guest. No toiletries were provided. So bring your own shampoo and soap for the showers.
But the real gem of this property is the location and the LARGE outdoor spaces with the spectacular scenery! This is a private peninsula with water on three sides of the property.. large pine trees and beautiful views of Lake DeGray. It is peaceful and quite with a large back porch with a fireplace and a fun pavilion that over looks the lake.. the perfect spot to watch the sunrise in the morning ! It even has a huge outdoor fire pit down by the lake with wood provided.
The facility was beautiful in design and cleanliness. The kitchen was large with generous spaces for food preparation. It has two stoves, two sinks and a full sized fridge only and full sized freezer only units. It was a delight to work on the granite counter tops and the large center island in the kitchen.
The Centerpiece of the lodge is the great room with huge vaulted ceilings and seating for 40 at dining tables and a large sitting area.. but our group wanted to eat many of their meals on the back porch it was so beautiful outside!
This is a GREAT facility for family reunions or church retreats or what every group you want to bring!
It was absolutly perfect in every way. My group is already asking to come back again!
Tucker lodge was more than we could have ever expected. We stayed Friday-Monday hosting a wedding and reception, in combination with a family and friends weekend. Lodge was immaculate and beautiful, outdoor space was stunning and well maintained. We loved it so much we have decided Tucker Lodge will be a family destination in the future.
This lodge was perfect for our family reunion. We had about 42 people and had plenty of room so no one felt crowded. The lodge was very clean and well stocked/equipped to accommodate our needs. We were all very comfortable there and it was the perfect, quiet & private place for our family to get together. I highly recommend it!
The lodge was absolutely perfect for our family trip. We only had 9 adults and 4 children but it gave us ample room to spread out. The property was EXTREMELY clean and met all of our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting around the huge fireplaces and exploring the well kept surroundings. We couldn’t have been happier and will be back if we are ever in the area again!
I recommend this place if you are looking for a properly that can hold a large group. We had our family reunion here and it had everything we needed. Walking distance from the lake where you can swim and kayak. A large kitchen with everything needed to cook 3 meals a day. Big common area where everyone can hang out and enough beds for 44 people to stay.
The property manager Pam was extremely helpful in answering all my questions and Tiffany was great at being available for any questions and concerns we had during our stay.
Its about 50-60 minutes away from both Hot Springs National Park and Craters of Diamonds State Park which made it an ideal mid location for us to stay.
Tucker Lodge is bigger than you expect! Plenty of room for our group to spread out. Staff was great to work with. I can't imagine you finding a better property in the area. We had a great experience!!!
I would highly recommend Tucker Lodge. It is specious, has a great location by water. It is abundantly furnished with everything you could need . We are a large family group and found lots of activities for all ages.
Tucker lodge is on such a beautiful property. Trees everywhere and gently sloping down to the lake. The lodge itself is great. Huge windows and soaring ceiling. The layout works great for a large group. Big kitchen made getting meals ready super easy. Plenty of showers for our whole group. Our group of students had an awesome time both outdoors and indoors. You won’t want to miss waking up early with the sun coming up and seeing the fog roll over the lake!

Beautiful and peaceful place for a break.
There were 9 families together for spring break and i'm glad i found the perfect place for us. Beautiful, clean and peaceful place for everyone. Kids had so much fun doing Karaoke ( we brought our own and connected to TV), doing smores while parents are relaxing. Kitchen is well equipped for the big group. Beds and rooms are comfortable. And Pam communicated multiple times with me to make sure we have everything we need for our vacation. Thanks Pam!

STAY HERE!!
I'm a student pastor, so I'm always looking for a spot to bring my students to really get some R&R during their spring semester of school when they are starting to drain. Luckily, I found this wonderful lodge for our annual Winter Retreat, and all I can say is STAY HERE! I brought a group of 42 and it was perfect! We loved the kitchen and of course the fire place! My only wish is that I could give more than 5 stars on this review! I'm looking forward to our stay again next year! - Cain N.
