Hummingbird Cabin with Indoor Saltwater Pool

Must be 25 years or older to rent this property. The guest on the reservation must be present at check-in with photo ID which matches address and credit card used. The booking guest must be present during the complete stay.

A rental agreement will need signed upon booking and a Refundable Damage Deposit of $500 will be charged to your credit card 3 days prior to arrival. This deposit will be fully refunded within 3 days after checkout, provided there are no damages or policy violations.

Trip Cancellation & Travel Insurance Program options available for purchase when booking a stay not less than 30 days before check in date.

Indoor and In-ground Heated Saltwater Pool! (No pets allowed in pool or pool house).
Cozy and comfortable, this Hocking Hills log cabin is located on the lush forest with hiking trails. It is overlooking the beautiful Hocking Valley. This cabin has a beamed cathedral ceiling in the great room, lots of windows, a stone gas fireplace, central air conditioning and gas heat. There are 3 bedrooms + loft. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there are two full baths, large outdoor hot tub, ping pong table in the recreation room, campfire ring, and an elevated screened porch overlooking the wooded hillside.

Cabin is cozy, pool was awesome and owners very responsive. Would stay again. Shooting hoops in the pool while watching hoops from the pool was great. Our days were pool, hot tub, s’mores by the fire, movie to end the night. Kids loved it.

Our weekend getaway to this cabin was great. The kids and adults loved the huge pool. It allowed for splashing and relaxing all at the same time. Suggestions for improvements would be: downsizing the kitchen table, as the huge table is nice to have everyone gather around, it makes the kitchen feel quite small. Also, a spotlight for the grill so you can see if you plan to grill in the dark. We ended up cooking burgers inside on the stove. Overall, I would definitely plan to come back.

The pool size and temperature were perfect for our stay, and my son enjoyed having it all to himself. I appreciated having a TV in the pool area for entertainment while watching my son swim because I did not want to drop my phone in the water The cabin was in a nice remote location, which was ideal for unplugging and relaxing; everything was as expected.As a side note, one of the rooms was cold and we were not able to adjust it to make it warmer, although they provided extra blankets, my son usually removes his covers while sleeping, so we had to make do with extra layers of clothing. We will definitely stay here again!

The house is ok, mattresses are all very soft, lots of “handyman” specials like cupboards that can’t fully open, light switches in adjacent rooms, and trim boards missing, but appliances were all functional. The pool is amazing, felt larger than pictured! Warm enough to accommodate a 70deg to 20deg outside temperature swing we saw during our visit. Pool was clean, and salt is so much nicer than chlorine. Hot tub is drained with each renter, and was warm and fully functional. If you are booking for the pool you won’t be disappointed.

Thank for the 5 star review!! We feel the house is a lot better than OK!! Our other reviews say as much :) It’s a cabin in the woods, we have updated the kitchen with granite & new appliances. I don’t know where there is a cabinet that doesn’t open properly but now that it’s been stated, we will get right on that! If the beds are too hard, some don’t like, if the beds are too soft, same. We try to do a mix so guests can feel them before deciding which room they want, but it doesn’t always works out that way. We are really happy you enjoyed the pool & hot tub :)

We had the most relaxing time! From the moment we arrived, we were in awe!!! I have stayed in many VRBOs and the Hummingbird Cabin surpassed our expectations! Clean, decorated rustic elegance, enough space for a large family or girls escape, as we did, and the kitchen has all the accoutrements needed. The bedrooms are definitely comfy!! JAND the pool and pool area are outstanding, the jacuzzi was amazing. We are definitely putting this cabin on our return list!!!The host are very easy to contact and a pleasure to talk to and deal with!A great place to get away and slow down!

Great getaway!

This cabin is the perfect getaway. Plenty of space and amenities to make the stay enjoyable. The cabin was clean and well decorated for the holidays. The pool area was clean and the water was clean and clear. Will definitely be staying again in the future!!

Awesome Place for kids and families

Enjoyed everything about our stay here. Pool is large and water is Warm. Cabin is just as listed, very nice. Had three families with several kids ranging from 2-7 and it couldn’t of been set up better for us to be able to watch the kids enjoy the pool. Definitely plan to come back!

Great winter getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and the “starter supply” of items was more than enough for our 3 nights. Some of the kitchen supplies could use updating, especially if you’re planning to stay in and cook like we did. The pool room was by far the best part of the property. Huge pool and very well heated. The kids had a blast.

Great place to stay in, the house was very clean. The pool was great, warm as well as hot tub. Plenty of space to hang out with friends. We had an issue with the lock but the maintenance guy was quick to answer and come out and fix the issue.

This cabin was exactly what we had hoped for. Everything was as described and the pool was AMAZING! We had 5 adults and 2 kids and the layout was perfect so that everyone could have their own space. We didn’t have any issues but the owners were still very quick to respond to my general email. The WiFi worked better than I expected so no complaints from the kids on the rare times they weren’t swimming. I highly recommend, especially if you are traveling during months when the weather can be questionable. If you can’t hike the trails, at least you can swim all day.

The cabin was clean.The pool house is clean. Wasnt expecting a full length pool. We had well needed relax time. The kids played for about 3 hrs and knocked out for the night. Great time enjoyed the salt water pool.

Fantastic spot!

We just got home and I couldn’t wait to write this review. We arrived to the Hummingbird Cabin and it was exactly as described. The living area was clean and inviting and that pool!!! So amazing to have your own personal pool, we had a hard time getting the kids out of it to go and do anything else! The location is perfect, secluded but close enough to everything Hocking Hills has to offer. The enclosed porch with swing was also a favorite spot of everyone in our family. The only thing I would improve is more lighting in the primary bedroom on the main floor, it was pretty dark in there. Thank you for having such a fabulous property, we can’t wait to come back.
