Old family house, rustic, simple, fully equipped. 3 bedrooms, 2 with double bed and one with 2 single beds. Kitchen, large living room, library, veranda, garage, large outdoor area maintained. Easy parking.
House located between the Ferté Macé and Saint Michel des Andaines, certainly near the main road but there is no car at night and little during the day. However, if you are too sensitive to noise, it is better to choose a more isolated place because only one room is equipped with double glazing. As it is an old house there are still some small improvement works to do like changing the wallpaper of the bathroom. Strengths outweigh weak points. Length of stay required: 1 week. Tap water from a fountain located near exploited fields can be used for cooking food, but for drinking it is recommended to consume mineral water.

Très rustique mais le propriétaire est très impliqué, très avenant, très sympathique et fait tout pour améliorer son gîte de jour en jour. Le logis ne manque de rien et nous avons réellement bien apprécié la proximité de Bagnoles de l' Orne où nous avons effectué notre cure thermale.

Si vous y tenez je vous raconte: Logement signalé comme accessible aux personnes en situation de handicap. Mais ce logement n'est pas du tout conforme aux normes. Logement très bruyant. Réclamation en cours sans réponse à ce jour

Seul le parking avait été coché comme accessible aux personnes atteintes d'un handicap. Pour éviter toute confusion ultérieure j'ai décoché cette case. D'une part une chambre est en double vitrage, d'autre part je dors régulièrement dans cette maison et j'y récupère bien. La majorité des vacanciers s'y sont plu. Ne pas faire une généralité d'un cas particulier.

Bonjour,Compte tenu de notre courte occupation des lieux (nous n'avons pris aucun repas )seulement passé 2 nuits il m'est difficile de pouvoir apprécier véritablement. Cependant ce n'est pas fait pour une famille avec des enfants les escaliers sont étroits et un peu dangereux pour des petits .Et deux étages sans (wc) c'est gênant.Bien qu'en bord de route peu de bruit la nuit. Dites moi comment cela ce passe pour récupérer la caution . Bien cordialement Mme Barbotte

Bonjour, À l'époque où la maison a été construite les architectes ne se souciaient pas des aménagements pour les enfants autant qu'aujourd'hui. Cependant les cinq enfants de la famille ont grandi dans cette maison sans qu'aucun ne se blesse. Il vaut mieux se tenir à la rampe quand l'escalier est trop ciré. Je reconnais que pour monter un lit à l'étage ce ne doit pas être très pratique. En revanche l'espace extérieur permet de faire du vélo, de jouer au ballon et même de s'installer sous le pommier pour prendre l'apéritif. Bien cordialement. Pierre Lerat

Vous avez raison, il y a encore du travail de rénovation à faire dans la maison. J'ai prévu de continuer cet hiver. Nous venons de changer la chaudière. C'était un gros investissement. À noter toutefois qu'il y a aussi un grand espace extérieur à entretenir et que je n'habite pas sur place. Malgré le cachet ancien, que nous souhaitons conserver, notre maison permet à des groupes de personnes ou à des familles d'être hébergées pour un prix abordable. Nous vous remercions de votre compréhension. Nous souhaiterions n'avoir que des hôtes comme vous.

Je vous remercie pour votre appréciation qui correspond à ce que je pense. Ma sœur aînée qui s'occupe des draps m'a signalé avoir trouvé une maison impeccable. Cette maison, comme beaucoup d'autres, a été construite à une époque où les gens se déplaçaient en voiture à cheval et où la route n'était qu'un simple chemin. Le principal axe de circulation n'est pas La Ferté Macé - Domfront, là où est située notre maison, mais La Ferté Macé - Couterne. Cependant, quand il y a des travaux, certaines routes sont déviées, ce qui doit être le cas en ce moment.

Beaucoup de charme

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable à La Ferté Macé, berceau de notre famille et objet de nos recherches familiales. C'est une "vraie" maison, dans laquelle on se sent bien. Bien sûr il ne faut pas être allergique aux quelques camions qui passent le matin de bonne heure, mais ce petit inconvénient est largement compensé par le charme des pièces anciennes et le cadre environnant.

Bonjour, Je vous remercie pour votre appréciation qui correspond à ce que nous pensons. Effectivement cette maison n'est pas impersonnelle. On peut y ressentir un vécu et nous souhaitons faire partager cet aspect. Avec le temps je me suis habitué à la circulation et je n'y fais même plus trop attention. Cela apporte un peu de vie moderne. Ce fut un plaisir d'accueillir des hôtes comme vous et ma sœur aînée a apprécié de trouver une maison impeccable. Pour ma part je vais continuer mes petits travaux de bricolage car la maison peut être beaucoup mieux.
