This truly unique suite is wrapped in a redwood deck with lots of natural light, real wood floors and an old fashion feel, this suite is a quiet, relaxing getaway.

2 story – 1200 sq. ft. Private lodging suite

Private entry with wrap around patio & covered porch,
Downstairs is a perfect studio for 2 and includes 1 queen bed, a full kitchen, full bathroom, living room, Smart TV, DVD player & movie collection.

Upstairs includes a second queen bed, smart TV & designated work space.

Gas Stove, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, kitchen sink & stocked with basic kitchen amenities.

Private bathroom with shower/tub combo & stocked with basic amenities.

Accommodates up to 4 guests

This suite is suited for adults and kids 10 years or older. Sorry no kids under 10.

I highly recommend this place. Sierra Suite has a deck with a beautiful view to a forest with a bbq and chairs. House decor was just fantastic, kitchen is well equipped, nice shower with hot water, living room with tv and Wi-Fi, rooms are cozy with firm mattresses.

A wonderful stay near Yosemite!

Our family had a wonderful stay here during the holiday season! We had visited last year, and had such a great time that we decided to come back. It's a beautiful location, (especially with snow!), peaceful, and so comfortable and cozy! The place has everything you could need and more, and communication with the owners was great! They were quick to respond when we needed help. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A Slice of Heaven

Thank you very much for a wonderful place. Our family enjoyed our stay there very much. The place is so tranquil inside and outside with lots of spaces. It was nice to see a copy of declaration of independence framed along with maps of world pinned by people from all over the world... The rooms are serviced with true care details with great sayings like: "It's not how much we have but how much we enjoy what we have that makes the happiness"...we had a restful July 4th celebration holiday. Thanks a million! Here is the poem( handwritten copy left with tips on the table) wrote one morning during our stay there. Fort Nip - Happy 4th of July Morning tranquil On the tree grown deck Sierra rolling hills afar Chirping birds around A summer sun rising Into the deep blue sky Tucked away in Road 601 Ahwahnee Truly A slice of Heave May you enjoy This beautiful July 4th and many more In the dry cool summer breeze! -A student of English, -A believer in America!

More than we expected!!

We loved our stay at this property! It was only an hour away from Yosemite. Everything was neat, clean and organized. The power went out one night and flashlights and batteries were promptly delivered. Would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay! The accommodations were great, the view from the deck was amazing, the place was spotless, and Brenda made the coming and going simple. We didn't need her for anything else! We would certainly choose the Sierra Suite again when visiting Yosemite.

This was such a beautiful place to stay if you are wanting to be close to town and go spend the day in Yosemite. It was so beautiful, clean and the host was incredibly responsive and a great host. I would definitely stay here again!

Great place, quiet and clean

Awesome view, I rented the Sierra Suite with is their largest unit, I think. There are about 4 other units they rent out of the same house, but they do a really good job of giving everyone their private spaces and areas. My unit could use more pots and cooking pans. Great views from the deck and the grill was clean and big plus, had plenty of propane. El Portal Yosemite gate entrance is 1 hour drive from this property. Town of Oakhurst is about 20 minutes drive.
