The Penthouse at the Carleton Lodge.
The Penthouse at the Carleton Lodge is spread out over approximately 2000 square feet and has everything you and your group will need for a VIP vacation.
The main floor has huge two story ceilings and is home to the Master Bedroom with king bed, full en suite; Chef style kitchen; oversized living room with stone (gas) fireplace; flat-screen TV; balcony; powder room; laundry room and large dining room.
The loft has two bedroom both with full en suites. The first bedroom has two bunk-beds and being able to sleep up to four, is great for kids or close friends (upper bunks exclusively for children). The second bedroom has a king bed and is truly a second Master Bedroom. Please note that although the two loft bedrooms are separated by a wall they are open to the Great Room (refer to profile photo). As well, the loft is only accessible by the spiral staircase and is recommend for agile people with no mobility issues (refer to photos).
Maximum vehicle height for underground parkade is 6' 8". Rental includes paid access to one parking space. More may be available at an additional cost.
The Carleton Lodge is the single closest property to both Whistler and Blackcomb's main gondolas for both winter and summer activities. This location is the only area that has access to BOTH mountains as well as the only location to have access to the main mountain bike lift for summer activities.
There simply is no better location in all of Whistler Village and you are only steps from not only the main gondolas but dozens of restaurants, bars, restaurants, cafes, shops, equipment rentals and almost everything else Whistler has to offer.
This location is also within easy walking distance of dozens of restaurants, lounges, bars, nightclubs and shops. Many, including the Longhorn Salon, Black's Pub, The Mexican Corner, Sushi Village, Showcase Snowboards, Teppan Village, Indian Masala Bistro, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub, Zog Dogs, Burton, Lulu Lemon, McCoos, Fat Tony's, Avalanche Pizza, Lift Coffee Company (plus many more) are all either in the building or right outside the door.
This is not a hotel so we don't have hotel like amenities or hotel like services but the property is stock with most things you will need for a great vacation and we are always available should you have any questions.

Fantastic place!! Incredible view, centrally located to everything happening in Whistler, very clean, and the location to the lifts makes this a perfect place to stay.
Wonderful vacation rental. Plenty of space for two adults and four teens. Steps to the Whistler and Blackcomb gondolas. Check in and check out were simple. Highly recommend!
The property was ideally located and had all the necessary amenities. Hosts were proactive and responsive. Property was as advertised and had a convenient check in process. All things considered, great spot to stay for a ski trip.

The condo is located in the heart of Whistler Village... steps to chair lifts/gondola, ski rentals, ski storage, restaurants and bars. The accommodations were comfortable and the open layout facilitated a fun atmosphere.
Doug and Andrea are great hosts and have a beautiful property in Whistler. When we checked in the property was well stocked and clean and the location of this property cannot be beaten given you are just footsteps from the lifts but also great bars and restaurants like Longhorns that is located in the same building.We would definitely book with Doug and Andrea again on our next trip to Whistler!
Fantastic condo in the heart of the Village. We had a ball in Whistler, and staying here only added to the trip.The hosts were easy to communicate with, and helped with any questions. When in Whistler again, we will stay at the Carleton Lodge penthouse.
We spent a long weekend skiing with our college kids in Whistler and the condo was great. The location cannot be beat! And in close second, the property managers are super responsive and helpful. We would go back without hesitation. Thanks Andrea!
Can’t beat location to lifts and right in the village. Didn’t have a car so didn’t use parking. When we had questions, owner was super fast to respond. Would definitely stay again!
Our family of 5 (kids ages 14-18) had an incredible week of spring skiing! You cannot beat this location! From the ease of parking to the quick walk to the gondola, this apartment had all the amenities for a great family vacation. The beds were comfortable and although we liked eating out- the apartment had everything we could have needed. So fun! We hope to return next year!
This is such an easy walk to the lifts and great storage for all equipment. The upstairs shower didn’t work for us and the sink was clogged but we just used the other bathrooms, just might want to check that out. Highly recommend

What makes this property unique
The Carleton Lodge is the most famous accommodations in all of Whistler Village. It is the closest building to both main lifts (Whistler and Blackcomb) and the only lift location that has lifts to both mountains**. It is also the only lift location that moves mountain bikes up to Whistler Mountain's awesome world-famous trails.***
**Upper Village only goes to Blackcomb Mountain and Creekside only goes to Whistler Mountain. ***Upper Village has no lifts for mountain biking and Creekside has a single lift with much more limited dates open, hours of operation and less variety of trails for all skill levels. Creekside mountain biking is considered to be much more rocky and dangerous.
