About this property

Little Davis Farmhouse

Quaint farmhouse built in 1934 recently renovated in the past year. Two bedrooms and one bathroom, living room and eat in kitchen with mud room/laundry room, and gazebo. This house sits on two acres with the Cherokee National forest as a backdrop. Close to hiking, biking and equestrian trails this is the perfect getaway. Easy access to historic Greeneville and the Niswonger Performing Arts Center. Within an hour you can be in Asheville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Dollywood, Johnson City, Jonesborough or Kingsport. Hot Springs is only 25 miles away. We do have two outdoor security cameras on the premises.

My family and I enjoyed a week long stay at the little davis farmhouse. It is in a rural setting surrounded by farms about 30 minutes from Greeneville. The internet worked well and the host made several streaming apps available for us. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. There was even a nice grill outside and an air fryer! The home is old with low ceilings and with some uneven flooring and steps between the rooms. There were 3 window air conditioners to keep us cool during our summer rental but they were a little noisy. In the bathroom, there were plenty of clean towels and soaps. Overall the property was clean but some areas like the bathroom tub and washing machine could use some extra cleaning. My favorite part of the visit was sitting on the porch drinking coffee in the mornings watching and listening to the cows in the pasture across the street. The host lives nearby and came by to check on us and was very responsive to our messages.

Pots,pans, utensils, plates, glasses, toaster, coffee pot, yes the basics are there. Grill outside, small air fryer, the refrigerator has filtered water. Large French style doors on fridge for storage bottom freezer door and a dishwasher. Bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, soap, towels. Bedrooms are spacious and have extra bedding. There is a washer and dryer on site. Detergent is provided. I brought my own. Do follow the instructions provided by the owner as they do know the machines and operations. Very pleased with the stay. The area is scenic for those not familiar with eastern Tennessee or the Appalachian mountains. I recommend the stay for anyone looking to disconnect from the buzz of work.

Great Stay!

Everything about our stay was perfect! Great central location to all of East Tennessee. House was spotless and looked exactly like pictures. Owner has stocked the home with everything that you could need! Will definitely stay again on next trip

I am a glass artist and I love the mountains! I moved up to this area from Asheville North Carolina. I have horses and I enjoy riding in the National Forest. My partner and I live very close to the little farmhouse with several rescue dogs, cats and miniature horses.

Why they chose this property

This little house is off the charts quaint! In a beautiful setting with Mountain View’s, privacy and lots of peace and quiet. You are very close to hiking and biking trails. Centrally located to all the excitement you are an hour away from Pigeon Forge, Knoxville, Johnson city, and Asheville. Hot Springs is just down the road with fun restaurants and hot tubs!

What makes this property unique

The little farmhouse comes completely stocked..bring your clothes and your food. There is a sweet storage building to keep kayaks and bicycles...
