Historic Hyde Park with Private Courtyard

This 1949 apartment is on the first floor of a 4-plex, in the heart of the Hyde Park Historic District. It is very charming and is in a safe, tree-lined area. It is within walking distance to many different restaurants, shops, parks and entertainment venues. It is also walking distance to nearby beautiful Bayshore Boulevard, which has 4 miles of continuous waterfront sidewalk.

The apartment is about 600 sq. ft. It has tile floors, its own washer/dryer, two ceiling fans, two mini-split air conditioning/heating units, and its own dedicated off-street parking. The covered front porch/laundry room area is for the exclusive use of guests in this unit. It also includes a family room, fully-equipped kitchen, small dining table with two chairs, a hallway with a storage cabinet, a bedroom with a dresser, bedside tables and a closet, and a full bathroom which includes a combination shower/tub. There is a private side courtyard for exclusive use of guests staying in this apartment.

All guests staying in all four units of the quad-plex have shared use of the concrete table/benches in the front yard of the property.Entry to the premises is via a digital keyless entry system.

Prior to check-in, I will provide each renter with their own unique entry code, which will only be valid during the length of their stay. I will always be available via cell phone/email for any inquiries that guests may have. I also live within 5 minutes of the property and will be available in-person on most occasions. I love to help visitors make the most of their stay in Tampa!

This was a great little apartment with much charm and character in a quiet and safe neighborhood close to Hyde Park and Bayshore Blvd. Parking was ample too. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. We would stay here again.

OUTSTANDING!

This place had a really great vibe to it. Being a Florida native, this late 40s apartment was definitely a place that we would consider on our next adventure to Tampa. The kitchen was more than adequately supplied with some very interesting food items like different kinds of coffee. The private patio was great for just relaxing with a couple of adult beverages and snacks. The neighborhood we would describe as "funky" in a good way. The apartment was close to several food places to eat and drink. Even found a real cool old "dive" bar (The Tiny Tap Tavern". This property worked perfectly for our needs. Bed was very comfortable. Only irritation was the bathroom sink cold faucet which tends to leak and nowhere to lay things in the bathroom. Everything else was great!

Tropical Vintage Downstairs Apartment

This property is an adorable quad-plex. There are neighbors above and beside that did make quite a bit of noise, but that's understandable. There's access to an adorable little patio area with beautiful foliage. The apartment is furnished very nicely! There wasn't much in the kitchen for cookware, but we managed with what we had. This apartment is located in an extremely nice neighborhood. All the other houses nearby seemed to be vintage mansions. The place is also very close to Bayshore drive with access to many desirable locations, like Downtown Tampa. We used Uber during our stay and all the things we wanted to do were within 2-3 miles. We were also able to access a lot of shopping and dining options on foot, within 10-15 minutes away. We definitely enjoyed our stay here, we would highly recommend.

Location, location, location! It is a cute home in the middle of Historic Hyde Park - a walking, tree-lined neighborhood filled with all kinds of restaurants/bars, cafes, shops, parks, and a movie theater. It is just one to two miles away from downtown (Channelside, the Tampa Convention Center and Amalie Arena) and within 10-15 minutes to MacDill AFB, Westshore Business District, Ybor City, and the Airport. It is only a few blocks from Bayshore Boulevard, which has 4 miles of continuous waterfront sidewalk.
