Large volumes, calm absolute, 5000 m ² of ground, not of opposite, swimming pool for exclusive use of the manor, located in 1.5 km of the castle of Azay The Rideau, road of the valley of Lys, along the Indre and its troglodyte hillsides, in the heart of the castles of the Loire. Less than 25 km away: L'Islette, Villandry, Rigny-Usse, Langeais, Chinon, Sache, 45 'from Chenonceaux, the Abbey of Fontevraud, Montsoreau, Saumur) and 1h15 from Chambord) in the center of the Valley of the Kings.
Ideal for :
- hiking "Loire by bike",
- visits to wineries (AOC Touraine Azay-le-Rideau, Chinon, Bourgueil, St Nicolas de Bourgueil, Montlouis, Vouvray),

Old and rustic. The bathrooms are basic, and the washing machine is in the downstairs en suite shower room, which is small, as is the downstairs bedroom. The upstairs room in the outer 'cave' accommodation is up a very steep staircase, which none of our party wanted to use ( could only get down it backwards). But good value for money for large groups, as long as you are prepared to share the bathrooms and toilets.

Grandes vacances à Alzay le Ridau

We enjoyed a super fun vacation. Staying in a well-equipped country house with pool, 2 km from the town was a real plus. Well-equipped kitchen, nice and large sitting area, a dining room with a dining table for 20 people, sitting areas for sunbathing and shaded areas. one downside! The sanitary facilities could be improved;

Charming family house and owner

We (5 families, 19 pers) have had an wonderful week in Manoir des Badinons. The house is authentic and keeps away from the 'rental business' atmosphere; nice! Our stay was during a heat wave, so the cool inside of the house was a big plus. Enough spots with shade in the garden, pool ok - pleasant depth. Azay-le Rideau (bakeries, Carrefour) was only 5 minutes by car. Third generation owner Alain Wiart is easy going and easy to contact, also in English. Highly recommended!

Lieu idéal pour un week-end (ou plus) avec une grande famille. Le cadre est superbe, très proche d'un très beau château du val de Loire (pas facile toutefois de s'y rendre à pied!)Le manoir et son pavillon troglodytes possèdent une capacité d'accueil optimale pour notre tribu. Piece bien agencées et bien reparties, équipement de la maison parfait, rien ne manquait!Ce qui par contre a été un peu déstabilisant c'est le nombre d'options payantes et les instructions qui paraissaient très strictes

Manoir à Azay Le Rideau

Maison parfaite pour un weekend familial. Le manoir est très bien équipé, rien ne manquait. Le jardin est très grand et on s'y sent bien.La personne chargée de l'accueil était très disponible, nous reviendrons !Je recommande cette maison

Belle demeure, adaptée aux grands groupes

Très bon séjour passé entre amis au Manoir des Badinons. Les pièces sont spacieuses et permettent d'accueillir des grands groupes sans avoir l'impression de se marcher dessus. Idem pour les salles de bains qui sont en nombres suffisant pour éviter les embouteillages du matin. Egalement beaucoup de vaisselle et d'équipements permettant de faire à manger pour de nombreux hôtes. Enfin, l'emplacement est idéal pour visiter châteaux, caves troglodytes et vignobles

Très bon séjour

Notre séjour s’est très bien passé. L’intérieur de la maison pourrait être un peu renové et l’extérieur un peu plus entretenu mais globalement, la maison était très adaptée à notre famille de 19 personnes, adultes, adolescents et enfants compris!

Maison bourgeoise avec tout le matériel nécessaire et suffisant. Excellente propreté. Quelques détails un peu décevants: pas de savon, presque pas de papier toilette, et une chambre difficilement accessible par une échelle de meunier, à signaler dans le descriptif.

Bonjour Madame, Merci pour votre commentaire ! Contrairement aux Chambres d’hôtes, il n’y a généralement pas de produits d’accueil dans un gîte. Mais je prends note de votre remarque et demanderai à ce qu’on laisse du savon liquide dans les salles d’eau. La personne qui s’occupe de la maison a pour habitude d’en laisser dans la cuisine ainsi qu’un rouleau de papier dans chaque WC. Peut-être y a-t-il une distraction lors de votre séjour. L’escalier d’accès à la chambre au 1er étage du troglo est certes un peu raide, mais je ne le qualifierais pas « d’échelle de meunier ». Je corrige le descriptif pour éviter toute ambiguïté à ce sujet pour vos successeurs. A bientôt peut-être. Cordialement, Alain Wiart

Nous venons de passer un week end familial. 14 adultes et 8 enfants dont 3 en lits parapluie. Point positif : Belle demeure ( dans son jus mais entretenu ), une arrivée autonome, un voisin super sympa , un propriétaire très gentil également. Des électroménagers en grand nombre, deux frigos, deux fours, deux lave-vaisselle . Le dortoir parfait pour les enfants. Une literie correct Une vaisselle très complète. Barbecue super. Manoir au calme. Les déceptions : Au moment de prendre l'option soit une semaine avant on nous prévient que la piscine n'est pas chauffée.. pompe en panne..quel dommage nous avions pris une maison avec piscine chauffée exprès ayant beaucoup d'enfants moins de 6ans qui ont vite froid. Ce fut le cas, deux fois dix minutes dans le weekend. Une balançoire qui aurait besoin d'un bon coup de neuf car on ne pouvait pas laisser les enfants dessus car plus rien ne tien. C'est dommage. Trop d'humidité malgré les déshumidificateurs dans le troglodyte. Je recommande ++ pour des retrouvailles entres amis ou famille

Merci pour vos commentaires. Tant mieux si vous avez passé un bon séjour dans ma maison. Je fais tout mon possible pour réparer l’échangeur thermique, néanmoins il est très difficile de trouver certaines pièces de rechange depuis le Covid Vous m’avez confirmé que l’eau était naturellement entre 24 et 26°, je ne peux pas la chauffer au-delà de cette température, sauf à risquer que le bassin vire au vert. Bien noté pour la balançoire qui sera consolidée et le troglodyte dont l’aération sera renforcée. A bientôt, Cordialement, Alain Wiart

week-end en famille

Un beau manoir pour passer un week-end "cousinade" . L'espace et les équipements sont parfaitement adaptés pour ce genre de retrouvailles (un grand salon, une grande salle à manger, une cuisine avec tout le nécessaire -suffisamment de chambres et salles de bain tout est parfait ). Nous avons pu profité du jardin et des jeux extérieurs: le cadre (de même que la localisation: Val de Loire, Azay-Le-Rideau tout proche) est superbe.
