Meeks Retreat is a private area located on 50 acres set on a mountain over looking Table Rock Lake. Awesome views. For rent:! Over 1800 square foot house, sleeps 8, with a large Lr/Kitchen and DRm.,and a vaulted ceiling. This house can hold app. 20 people for daytime use. Reserve the other rentals for your group, and meet at Northgate house during the day for reunions and more. This rental has a deck overlooking the lake, and a front porch with an awesome view of the wooded areas. We have over 1/2 mile of lakefront, but are located on a bluff with awesome views. No lake access from this rental. A boat ramp is located app. 1 mile from the entrance to Meeks Retreat. Viney Creek State Park is located a few short miles and has boat ramps and a roped off swimming area. Charges for additional people (over 8) will be applied when booking.

Additional cabins/units for rent. There are 4 full service cabins/units close by that each sleep 6 people. Additional large Retreat Center for rent, daytime use only, seats over 125. Visit Meeks Retreat for additional information.

Awesome location

The views off of the back porch were amazing and the house was spacious and clean. Plus a friendly dog greeted us upon arrival.

A lovely property inside and out with great views!

My friends and I wanted a place in nature to unwind and enjoy each other’s company. The views from the back deck were beautiful!! It was so quiet. Virginia is a wonderful host and I’d definitely return for another friend get together or a family reunion. There are boats to rent nearby which allowed us to enjoy a sunny day on Table Rock lake. Perfect holiday getaway location!

Secluded and Quiet

The property was spacious and the grounds were very nice and quiet. Beautiful lake views and we counted 4,398 deer on the property. Check in was easy and the accommodations were very spacious.

Family trip with kids friends

Overall 100% satisfied and very accurate listing. Cabins interiors and appliances are dated, but didn’t affect our stay. Virginia, owner and host was very responsive and very personable. Would stay here again/

Hidden Gem with lake view

We enjoyed our stay at Meeks Retreat and the owner is super accommodating. It’s a hidden gem with a beautiful view of the Kings River arm of Tablerock Lake. There is plenty of room for a family or couples group. We enjoyed our time on the spacious deck. The kitchen is well stocked with all utensils that you need to prepare meals if you want to. It is about 30 minutes to a grocery store so advise bringing all of your items. There are deer and other wildlife. It’s a relaxing and tranquil location. Hope you enjoy as much as we have!

Relaxing retreat with gorgeous views!

A great rental house with large open living room and a back deck overlooking Table Rock Lake. Other rental units as well as a large conference facility also available for rent! Secluded location but located between major destinations such as Eureka Springs and Dogwood Canyon.

Great place!

The setting was absolutely beautiful! It was peaceful and away from it all, and we had a great family bonding weekend. Plenty of room for our family and lots of outdoor space to play kickball, etc. Virginia was the nicest host and we recommend 10/10!

Quiet, beautiful lake side retreat

Our stay was great. The home was superbly clean and beautiful. The view of the lake from the porch is GORGEOUS! The property owner was so kind! On the first day of our stay, a family member had a wreck on her way to the house and Ms. Meek called to make sure everything was okay and made sure we had everything we needed. She is so kind and we could not have asked for a better property owner! We would recommend this home 1000 times again!

Quiet and peaceful place. We were able to see eagles, dear and multiple birds.

Was very easy to rent, , with no complications.. we enjoyed everything about it. Had all we needed for the weekend. The Lake view and forest view on either side was excellent.

Remote get away

Virginia Meek was very nice to rent from. Property has a beautiful view of the lake. It was awesome to see the deer that came out every night. The location is about 30 minutes from Eureka Springs for shopping and eating.

Ladies Getaway

Meek's Retreat offers a peaceful & serene stay away from the crowds of Branson and the stresses of daily life. Located overlooking the King's River on the upper end of Table Rock lake we saw beautiful scenery & abundant wildlife. We especially enjoyed the bald eagle that flew by multiple times during our stay. We even spotted the eagles' nest on the farm road between the retreat and the highway. Virginia is a lovely hostess. Easy to communicate with and full of helpful information of things to do and see in the area. We left happy and looking for reasons to be back again soon.

Great View and Property

Awesome view of the lake with grill on back deck. We spent most of our time on the deck and were able to see quite a bit of wildlife as well. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals.

Amazing view and Plenty of space

We were a group of 8 adults traveling up from Texas with a boat. There was plenty of room for the empty trailer to park in front of the house, an amazing view out the back, and plenty of room inside the house as well. We will definitely be returning. The owner was very responsive, made check in and check out a easy, and gave clear directions to arrive at the destination. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed to cook meals, and there was also a grill on the back patio. Can't say enough good things about Meeks Retreat.

Bad Business

When we showed up the owner wasn't sure why we were there, said the rental we rented was occupied { found out it was to a family member } and put us into a different rental not even close to what the picture was. paid quite a bit per night for a rental we didn't even get , so they opened a cabin for us that had no view like the one we rented { one of the biggest reasons we rented it } could barely see the lake. There were dead bugs on the furniture , unused condom in a drawer among other things. when we showed up she apologized and said she hasn't been able to check on the place that she gave us in about a week. I could have rented a 5 star hotel for what I paid here and got a lot more out of it . will not recommend based on how they conducted business and honestly would like some sort of refund { not full refund by any means } but since I drove over 4 hours to that place I was basically stuck there since it was already paid for and nowhere else to go because it was a vacation weekend. not happy at all ….!!!
