We spent 4 days for a family gathering. Everything is designed for practicallity and also to help you relax in a beautiful, bright space overlooking the garden. We really enjoyed our stay and Laurent is a very welcoming host, giving us advice and good addresses to visit Bordeaux and its surroundings.

Highly recommend

Laurent greeted us on arrival and took time to share tips for the area. We also booked a walking tour of Bordeaux with Laurent and it was fabulous! Would definitely recommend!

House was what we needed

This house was for a couple of nights for four women travellers and it met our needs; we had a room of our own and were close enough to downtown Bordeaux to see the sites before moving on.

Great stay in Eysines

We really enjoyed our stay! Laurent is more than a super host - he is an exceptional host! He took the time to personally welcome us and provide information on sightseeing, activities and restaurants that was very useful. He clearly loves Bordeaux and that showed in a tour of the city he took us on. He gave a great tour of vineyards in Médoc! I highly recommend staying at Laurent’s place!

Spacious hidden gem

This spacious 4 bedroom home was perfect for our 3 generation family visit. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants, stores and a fabulous patisserie. The beautiful hot tub was a huge hit with all of us- especially the children. The owner, Laurent, left us a nice bottle of wine, greeted us on our arrival, and helped orient ourselves to the house and surrounding area. Great choice for our family.

I cannot say enough great things about the host! My husband and I booked this wonderful house for our three sons and spouses. It has four bedrooms and a gigantic open air sunroom. Our favorite part of the trip was cooking a French dinner with Laurent. He speaks three languages! We enjoyed learning about France, and we think he enjoyed learning about nice Americans from the Midwest! The house is about 15 minute drive from Bordeaux.We took Ubers or walked. The train from Paris takes you directly into Bordeaux. There is a really nice park within walking distance from the house and a bakery about a block away. We would book this home again because of the host!

Bordeaux and beyond, a fantastic central location for almost any destination in the Aquitaine region

If you're looking for a spectacular place to stay in Bordeaux look no further. Laurent is such a welcoming and generous host. His home has so many amenities from the the comfortable beds to the laundry to the outdoor whirlpool spa. We stayed with two other couples and there was always plenty of space for all of us to enjoy after a long day of exploring. There's off street parking available for your rental car where you'll be mere minutes from the airport and downtown Bordeaux. You're also very close to supermarkets, restaurants and other retail stores. Beyond Bordeaux, Laurent has so many wonderful recommendations for attractions and day trips. Over the span of a week we didn't have time for it all, we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended, so much better than any hotel. #superhost Cheers!

Bitte nicht auf die Fotos im Inserat achten!!!

Zusammen mit Freundinnen war ich 5 Tage in Eysines, Nahe Bordeaux. Wir haben uns für dieses Ferienhaus entschieden, weil es so schien, als hätte es ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und sehr schön aussah.Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir nett empfangen; durften das Haus auch eher beziehen, weil es leer stand.Leider war nichts so wie beschrieben - das Haus ist "etwas in die Jahre gekommen", alles wirkte relativ ungepflegt. Türschwellen waren lose, der Kamin ist nicht benutzbar, weil die Scheibe kaputt war (das brauchten wir auch nicht, es war sehr warm).In den Ecken waren alte Spinnenweben, im Schrank hing eine übrig gebliebene Bluse, das Sofa war schmutzig und durchgesessen, die Tür zum Garten ging kaum auf, weil verzogen. Im Rahmen der Tür zur Terrasse lag noch der Dreck vom Vorjahr. Der Garten war voller Unkraut und alten Gartenabfällen vom Vorjahr, den Grill wollten wir gar nicht erst abdecken; weil schon die Plane völlig alt und verschlissen war. Selbst der Ordner mit einigen Informationen zum Haus und Umgebung war alt und klebrig. Alles wirkte nicht gerade einladend.Weil es am 1. Abend ein schweres Gewitter mit Starkregen gab, hat es leider durch das Dach, speziell durch die Dachfenster zum Anbau/Terrasse sehr stark durchgeregnet. Das wollte der Vermieter aber sofort reparieren lassen.Also wir würden nicht noch einmal in dieses Haus fahren - aber nach Bordeaux und Umgebung auf jeden Fall.

This comment is simply the vengeful result of the very difficult communication with you when you refused our reactive intervention following the violent storms of that weekend. Reihenhaus in ruhiger Vorstadtlage, tolle Ausstattung, wunderbare Betreuung durch Laurent, der seine Heimat und die Gästebetreuung liebt. Ein Auto wird empfohlen da sonst viele tolle Ausflugsziele nur schwer zu erreichen sind. Bordeaux ist sehr gut mit der örtlichen Straßenbahn für wenig Geld zu erreichen. Highlight definitiv der Jacuzzi und die traumhafte Landschaft und Architektur der Umgebung sowie die kulinarischen Genüsse. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Great base to explore Bordeaux

Lovely little flat to explore the region. Good proximity to Medoc area while not being too far from the right bank and city. Nice layout with room to relax in between jaunts. Laurent is also very accommodating!
