Attic studio with beautiful frame located on the 4th floor in a beautiful 1900 building. (the studio is attached to the owners' apartment) .Located in a residential area with lots of shops and very well served by public transport. Next to it is the Bois de Vincennes, the Castle and the Zoological Park. The Saint Mande metro station (line n ° 1) is 60 m away.

Nice apartment and great location

It’s a very nice and clean apartment in a beautiful building not far from the center of Paris. Metro is in 3-5 minutes walk, it’s 5-7 stations to the center - very fast and convenient. There are also shops and cafes in the area. Thanks to Irena - great host!

We greatly enjoyed our visit staying in the studio operated by Irena and her husband! She was very accommodating and kind - on hearing how much my wife loves crepes, Irena brought over several of her own with some homemade cherry jam. The property was clean and cozy, with a small but efficient kitchenette. And being just outside of La Périphérique ring road the price was right! It is very conveniently located near both the Metro Line 1, buses on Rue du Paris, and two nearby Vélib bikeshare stations. We loved the amenities that Saint-Mandé offered: many boulangeries, several smaller grocery stores and various other stores, a laundromat, restaurants for every taste and budget, a fresh food street market on Sunday and other markets most other days, etc. A few things potential guests should consider before booking: 1) there's no elevator, and it's 5 flights up, enough said; 2) as some reviews have mentioned, the bathtub is small and so it was tricky washing up with the hand shower; and 3) given the heat in Paris this summer, the lack of air conditioning was challenging, although the large skylight opened to let in night air and there was a fan so we coped.Saint-Mandé is a quieter enclave, compared with the hustle-bustle of downtown Paris, so it was a nice place to recharge our batteries after a busy day of sightseeing. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a homey, inexpensive pied-a-terre from which to explore Paris.

Nos ha encantado volver al apartamento de Irena. Irena y su marido son encantadores. El apartamento muy cómodo y romántico. Ya sabíamos que estaba cerca de supermercados y panaderías, y cerca de la línea de metro 1 que atraviesa todo París y te lleva a los museos más importantes. Volvimos a pasear por le Bois Vincennes, es un lujo estar cerca de un bosque. Muchas gracias, Irena.

Apartamento genial, es un ático, con cocina pequeña para salir de apuros y baño propio. Lo mejor es que estás en una zona con comunicación excelente. Tienes un montón de sitios para comer, un supermercado al lado y lo mejor desde mi punto de vista, la entrada del metro M1, que atraviesa el centro de Paris, está a menos de un minuto andando. Esto te permite llegar a los distintos distritos centrales de Paris en unos 15 minutos, y organizar tu viaje cómodamente, recomendado!

Wonderful stay. Cozy attic studio in a beautiful building -- classic Parisian rooftop view -- Irena and her granddaughter were perfect hosts. Kitchen and tub are small, but both work as designed, and as they say -- when in Rome.... Located in a nice neighborhood -- ponds, Pétanque, and dancing nearby -- w the ever-efficient Metro only a minute or two away. Epicures take note: make sure when buying croissants you buy all-beure. When and why did they ever start making the other? (Vegetable oil?)

Un bon contact avec Irena qui nous a aussi permis en fin de séjour de laisser nos valises en attendant le départ de notre train et de profiter ainsi des dernières ballades et visites de la capitale . Merci Irena ! L'appartement est conforme au descriptif de l'annonce. Il est situé au 5ème étage sans ascenseur ( un peu d'activité physique pour garder la forme ! :). Le quartier est calme et le studio est très bien placé, proche du métro qui dessert la ligne 1. Un bon rapport qualité- prix .Cet appartement correspondait bien à nos attentes.

Super charming studio in great location

Irena was an outstanding hostess! Her place is super cute and cozy, it has everything you need. Very clean and charming, close to restaurants, bakeries, stores, and one block away from the metro station. Our stay was amazing! Definitely recommend :)

La salle de bain est effectivement basse, studio se trouvent sous les toits. Commentaire concernant la propreté n’est absolument pas juste, la femme de ménage a tout nettoyé la veuille d’arrivée du locataire et a bien sûre changé les draps et les serviettes. Je suis désolée, mais je ne vois pas qu’est-ce qu’il pourrait être sale. Je crois que c’est une réaction de mécontentement car je ne pouvais pas faire une attestation d’hébergement que voulait le locataire Je n’ai jamais eu ce type de remarque durant des années de location. Hemos estado muy a gusto. Los propietarios, que viven al lado, son encantadores, Irena nos trató con mucho cariño ofreciendonos fruta a nuestra llegada y una tarta muy buena que hizo durante nuestra estancia. En todo momento estuvieron disponibles. El apartamento inundado de luz tiene mucho atractivo y está muy cerca del metro (la línea 1 que atraviesa todo París) y del Bois de Vincennes para los que nos gusta pasear.
