Located on the renowned Ocean View Drive in the heart of Avon, Beach Blessings sits right across the road from one of the top five beaches in the country. This beach house has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and is located near a grocery store and restaurants. This house is a member of the Kinnakeet Shores pool, pickle ball and tennis court.

The house has covered parking, a fish cleaning station, and two outdoor showers. On the first level, there is a screened-in porch with a large hot tub and shower. There is also a second front deck. The first level of the home contains four spacious bedrooms, each with its own smart TV, and two full baths. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed and a slider going out to the second deck. The second bedroom has a queen bed and bunkbeds, the third bedroom has one king bed and a slider going out to the second deck. Four large rocking chairs are on this deck to enjoy the morning beach view! The fourth bedroom has two twin beds. This level has a Jack-and-Jill bathroom in between bedrooms 1# and #3, and a full hall bath.
The top level of the home greets you with an open kitchen and a great room, with natural sunlight as there are five sun windows in the high vaulted ceiling. All new furniture and flooring, a small library with books, puzzles, family games, a 42" flatscreen smart TV, and wireless internet are provided for your entertainment. There is a breakfast bar with a large dinning room table to enjoy meals with family and friends. Every seat on the top level offers amazing views through the large glass new windows and new sliding glass doors to view the ocean. A large new sun deck is located off the great room, looking towards the ocean, with plenty of Adirondack chairs for relaxing. A screened-in porch is connected to the kitchen on the backside of the house, perfect for watching the sunset!

Beach Blessings was just that and more for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return to this house. We are still in awe of how close we were to the beach. Avon is a lovely area much quieter than the bigger towns that have more of a touristy feel. Owners were delightful to deal with.

I can’t say enough about how much we loved this beach house! Everything was exactly as described and we loved everything about it. It was clean and stocked with all of the essentials like sheets, towels, pots and pans, dinnerware, and utensils. And just a hop, skip and a jump to the beach! It was definitely our best beach vacation ever.

Amazing house and location!

We enjoyed our stay at Beach Blessings tremendously! It was a perfect place to relax, with games and puzzles to keep us busy on the windier days. Loved that it was within walking distance to the beach. Would definitely book again!

Great getaway

We had an amazing stay! The house was perfect for our group of 9—spacious, clean, and exactly as described. The location couldn’t be better: just a short walk to the beach, close to the pool, and near Food Lion for anything we needed. The view of the ocean was beautiful and such a highlight of our stay. The host was great—very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. The house had everything we needed to feel at home. We’d definitely love to come back!

Great visit at Beach Blessings

Our family of 5 had a great week in Avon at Beach Blessings. Can't beat the location with beach access just across the street. House was clean and had everything we needed. Hosts were very easy to work with and very responsive when we had questions. Highly recommend!

We Love Beach Blessings

This is the fourth year that our extended family has spent a week at Beach Blessings. It is perfect for us. It is near the beach, and the Pool and Tennis Club, and shopping. The owners are very gracious and responsive, and do a good job of maintaining the property. We have already booked our stay for next year!

We had an amazing stay at Beach Blessings. The home has a great layout and is well equipped, including the kitchen. The hot tub was the main perk. We also enjoyed the games and a couple puzzles to pass the time during the rain showers. Very easy access to the beach, two houses up and a short boardwalk to the sand, which were wonderful and uncrowded. We even got to see some neighborhood deer the first morning.The home is walking distance to the grocery store and Duck Donuts. We did not use the community pool or tennis courts but could see it from the house. Awesome place and we would 100% stay here again. Plenty of shopping and places to eat within a 10 minute drive as well.

Beach Blessing

Beach Blessing was just that. A blessing for our family and friends. The place was immaculately clean and the kitchen was well stocked and met all our needs. The bedding situation was perfect to accommodate us and the beds were comfortable. The easy access to the beach is what sold us on VrBo and it was so easy to access. Loved our stay there!

Wonderful beach home

We absolutely loved our weeklong stay! We had our teens with us and some family friends. Plenty of space for the 9 of us and everyone had the best time. The beach access is the best! Amazing Beach Vacation

The view was amazing! The house was perfect, plenty of room for everyone. The house was super clean. Beach is right across the street, couldn't have been more convenient. The beach chairs were a bonus. Communication with the property owners was very easy.

Gorgeous home. Well stocked! Kitchen had everything we needed. The beach chairs and toys were a bonus! The view from the deck with an amazing book and cup of coffee -- definitely was needed this week! We look forward to booking again!

Fantastic, as always!

This was our third year at Beach Blessings, and we have no desire to change locations. This home is well-equipped with amenities, is located across the street from the beach, was updated with something fresh and new every year we've stayed, and is always clean. A True Blessing!

The name of the home is perfect....a true Beach Blessing! We loved staying at this home. Felt almost beach front. Beautiful view of ocean from top level. Quick, easy walk to the beach. House was perfect! Fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, hot tub and outdoors showers, games and puzzles, beach towels and beach chairs provided. Quick drive or walk to grocery, donuts, restaurant....I could go on.... Would definetly stay here again. Thank you for the blessing of your home!

Perfect Location, Wonderful House!

We had a wonderful stay at Beach Blessings. It is in the most perfect location. It is very close to the beach access, a short walk to the pool, a mile from the pier, and another short walk to the Food Lion. The house was very comfortable for a family of four plus both sets of grandparents. There were two outdoor showers, a very well stocked kitchen with everything you need. There are also some beach towels and quite a few beach chairs. The view of the beach from the deck is priceless. The host were pleasant and replied promptly. We would definitely book there again!

Awesome As Always!

This is our third year staying at Beach Blessings for our family summer vacation! We love the location, the beach, all of the amenities of the home, the cleanliness of it as well, and the hosts, Dave and Christy, couldn’t be any more accommodating! When I ask my family of six adults and one toddler if they want me to change next years plans to a different home, they always reply, “No…Beach Blessings is perfect for us!” I think that says it all! We had a fantastic vacation at Beach Blessings! From the location to the cleanliness to the smallest details, everything was top notch! The house was well appointed with everything we needed for preparing family meals, and being walking distance to the grocery store was especially helpful. We loved enjoying the sunset and eating in the peaceful screened in porch off the kitchen. My three teens took advantage of the short walk over to Duck Donuts, the arcade, Bros and the other stores. We enjoyed beautiful runs and walks on the sound side neighborhood across the street, where it was easy to get in a 5-6 mile run without traffic. The proximity to the beach and view from the house was well loved by all, as was the hot tub. We appreciated the beach chairs and two outdoor showers, and the new decks were popular hang out spots with our family. The house was well cared for and especially clean. Dave and Christy were incredibly responsive and helpful hosts. We couldn't have asked for a better experience renting Beach Blessings, and understand why this house gets repeat guests. We plan to return to this gem!

Wonderful cottage and great location

We really enjoyed our vacation at Beach Blessing in spite of the entire week of rain, strong winds (25 - 40 mph), 60° temperatures, and 10 to 14 ft. waves from an offshore storm! First time any of us had experienced weather like this at the OBX, and it was quite an experience! We managed a few walks on the beach and along the very low traveled road and otherwise enjoyed this comfortable and very clean cottage and its excellent views of the ocean from the front windows and the deck. And we must mention how much we also enjoyed the excellent fresh seafood from the nearby Sunrise Seafood a short distance up the road! We hope to return to Beach Blessings in the late summer. We highly recommend this cottage and hope to return in the late summer!

Beach Blessings

We had a wonderful and relaxing week staying at Beach Blessings! The house was perfect for our little family. Very clean. The views from both (front and back) decks were my favorite! The location to the beach was perfect! No more than a 5min walk. The only thing I could say is to maybe consider refinishing the stairs and front deck. I was pulling splinters out of my son's feet and hands all week. But other than that, Beach Blessings was exactly that! A beautiful place to stay for a relaxing beach vacation!

We have six children and six grandchildren! We all love coming to the beach house for family time and relaxing.

Why they chose this property

This beach house offers an awesome panoramic view of the beach from both upstairs and downstairs decks. The open great room is a perfect gathering place for all of the family.

What makes this property unique

This house is steps away from the access to the private beach, which makes it very easy for the whole family to enjoy. We belong to the Kinnakeet shore community pool which is directly behind the house and across the street, a short distance away from the house. It features a covered area, a kiddie pool, a very large pool, pickle ball and tennis courts. The Avon fishing pier is at the end of our street, this is a neighborhood road so no through traffic. There is a Food Lion, a Duck donuts, an arcade, Bros bugers ( Awesome) and a beach shop right across the street from the back of the home!

The town of Avon is centrally located on the island, featuring lots of cute shops, restaurants, and the Hatteras light house is just a 10 minute drive.
