Chamonix 77 is conveniently located close to the lifts, making it a great base for skiing or visiting the bike park at an affordable price. This vintage Mammoth ski condo is not upgraded but offers a comfortable stay.

The primary bedroom has 1 queen bed, and the living room includes a queen fold-out sofa.

Entertainment includes a large flat-screen TV in the living room, a small TV in the bedroom, and Wi-Fi internet access. The unit is approximately 780 sq. ft., all on one level, with entry from an interior hallway in the Chamonix D Building. One outdoor parking space is included.

Guests have access to Chamonix amenities, including a recreation room with a large-screen TV, reading area, ping pong, and foosball, as well as a sauna, hydro spas, seasonal/summer swimming pool, and summer BBQ area. Coin-operated laundry facilities are conveniently located near the office. Complimentary internet and cable TV are provided; no refunds are given for connectivity issues.

Ski Trip

Older unit that is clean. Looks like they are slowing making upgrades. Comfortable and has all the essentials you need. Great location. A short walk to Canyon Lodge. Host was very accommodating when we got stuck in Bishop due to the roads being closed from the blizzard. Would stay here again.

Great spot at Chamonix near Canyon

Typical setup for condo near Canyon. Condo was as expected with new mattress in bedroom and sofa bed. Old dirty carpet but new appliances. Cable TV with plenty of blankets and kitchenware.

Too old/broken down to be a rental

This unit appears to have remained untouched for decades, and really should not be a rental unit. Everything appears rickety and barely hanging on. Dining table is broken, with top wobbling every time it is touched. Toilet rocks when sat down upon, mattress is old and unsupportive, unit is dark with just two windows, curtains are old, broken in living room, carpet is old and stained, refrigerator freezer is old time unit with icing occurring around frame, limiting space, snow shovel and sleds piled in corner of bedroom, old brik a brac everywhere in unit, including tons of dusty fake plants, and all outlets were so old that none of our electronic units remained plugged in. As a result, we cut our stay short. This unit should NOT be a rental, period. Photos do not display fully how old and broken down this unit appears to be. We were 100% not satisfied with our stay as a result. (Footnote - we have rented many, many condos in Mammoth Lakes, none of which would be considered 5 star, and have never had a complaint before this one.)
