The Great Escape is a perfect spot to get away from it all yet be close to everything Lake Anna has to offer. A huge lower-level rec room includes a Xbox, Game Cube, poker table, pool table, ping pong table, foosball, shuffleboard, and a basketball-style arcade game, as well as board games which is perfect for rainy days or a nighttime retreat after a long day on the water. Relax in the main level game room with features a bar and another ping pong table! Tie up your boat or jet ski at one of the two boat slips or take out one of the two tandem or single kayaks. There is room to roam in the large yard with a private beach.

This home is on the public side of Lake Anna and in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for families. It's centrally located near multiple restaurants in minutes by water and two-five minutes from New Bridge Shopping Center and Lake Anna Plaza by road. By water, you have quick access to Tim's, The Cove, Anna Point, and High Point Marinas.

This house was very spacious with great views. Only thing I recommend is updating the television some was smart tv and some had a dvd/tape player. The dvd/tape player was a great option but most of them did not work or had no sound.

Big house - we had 17 people, not crowded. Lots of games in the basement: shuffleboard, foosball, ping-pong, pool ... Lake access is very good, although it's a little hike down the hill.

Overall this is a good place, but definitely has some issues. We had trouble with a toilet and the dishwashers. Management response was quick and helpful. It's a nice location on the lake and is close to the grocery and some breweries.

New Years in Style at the Lake

We had a great trip to the Great Escape at Lake Anna this winter for new years! 5 couples and the accompanying army of children all had plenty to do with the amenities and toys and space to roam. Love it and hope to return in the future!

Good house for a large group.

Overall, a good place for family get together. Still needs attention to seriously overgrown foliage blocking the view of the lake from the deck, as well as inadequate hand railings on the steps from the deck to the yard. These items have been reported after prior stays in previous years.

This house is absolutely fantastic and would have been a 10/10 had everything been working and had the rental agency been responsive. The location is perfect. The house is absolutely gorgeous. Open, roomy, extremely clean, and well appointed. The game room was wonderful. And we love when well behaved dogs are allowed. You could not want a nicer house. However, I had to reach out multiple times to confirm the listing was accurate because there was as no hot tub in the pictures. First I was told to look at the master bedroom and that they couldn’t send additional pics in the chat. Then when I informed them that the master bath was a bathtub with jacuzzi jets and not a hot tub, another person at the rental agency sent me a picture in the chat. I let them know this was an important amenity for when booking. When we arrived, we found that the hot tub wasn’t working so we reached out to Vacasa. They sent someone out who never checked in with us. When we continued to follow up, they would only say that they’d reached out to the local office. We checked out yesterday and I’m still getting messages that they’re checking in with the local office with no updates. So in summary, the house is AMAZING but the rental office leaves something to be desired.

Huge Home on the water!

This home is very well laid out for a large number of people. The kitchen is fantastic! Many games (such as ping pong, etc) and huge deck with great views! The home shows a tad bit of wear from renting, but nothing to keep you from wanting to rent this place. Really great for large number of people.

Roomy house, great dock

Our large extended family enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and roomy. Some minor problems with uncomfortable furniture and broken patio furniture didn't keep us from having a great time. The house is well-located on the lake, with plenty of smooth water for boating and skiing. A grocery store is 5 minutes away. The advertised small beach is really a sand box, but that was okay. We have booked for next summer.

Spacious House - Great for Friends Weekend

We stayed with several families and small children and found the house suited our needs. Very spacious and well laid out with room for everyone to spread out but also come together in the TV and play rooms as well as the spacious kitchen. Access to the lake was great and we appreciated the kayaks that gave us a chance to get out on the water. There were some quirks with the furniture and a couple missing kitchen items that would have come in handy but overall would recommend and would return!

Plenty of room and comfortable

The kitchen was great for 9 people. Comfortable furnishings. Close to a cidery and wineries. Beautiful view. The WiFi was not accessible, only the TV in the large room would work and several light bulbs were out. I offer these observations for improvements. Overall it was lovely and worth a visit if you are looking to go to Lake Anna.

Good house for multi-family lake trip

This was a large house located directly on the lake. Check-in process was easy, the house was clean, and, The cleanup steps to check out were minimal. It does look like the bedroom configuration was a little different than what we expected - with only two bedrooms in the basement, three on the main floor, and four bedrooms on the upper level. Still a total of nine bedrooms, so it all worked out fine. All in all, this was a good house to rent for a large family lake trip.
