Conclusion: je conseille fortement

Not what we expected.

When walking into the home we found the floors to be dirty. There was dog hair on the couch in family room. Family room furniture and media room furniture all needed to be replaced as well as all mattresses in bedrooms. Home decorations need to be updated. When multiple people were taking showers there was not any water pressure. They advertise wi fi there is not any. The kitchen sink was clogged, coffee pot was broken, blender did not work. There was only enough utensils and dishes for 16 but it sleeps 26. There was only small pots and pans so if you plan to do any cooking bring your own. The downstairs bedrooms smelled musty. There is not any garbage pick up so you have to stuff all your garbage in 2 small garbage cans or put it in your car and take it down the hill to a dumpster. Hot tub was small expected something larger. Very disappointed in the home for the price we paid. I would not recommend this home if you like to go to town a lot.

We are so appreciative when a guest lets us know about any issue they have experienced at one of our cabins. Our goal is to respond and/or resolve the issue within two hours. Unfortunately these guests did not want to be bothered by having any of our staff stop by so we were unable to take care of their issues while they were here. We would have immediately responded and taken care of all the concerns. Unfortunately, this review makes this beautiful, luxury cabin seem like a terrible choice. The reality is the cabin is gorgeous. Our housekeeping is exceptional and we pride our selves on the cleanest possible cabins. But, Even the best housekeepers do occasionally miss something and during this incredibly busy time of year when we are constantly turning the cabins over on the same day, they are expected to do a lot of cleaning in a very short amount of time - especially if the guests are already here and impatiently waiting to get in. Stony Brook is determined to make every stay a wonderful one and we go out of our way to ensure our guests' comfort and happiness. Please always call the office with any little thing, our goal is to exceed your expectations. If you choose not to let us know until you have gone home, we cannot change or improve anything for you. We have so many guests who choose this cabin year after year and just love it. The owner is an Interior Decorator and just decorated the cabin in 2014 so it is absolutely beautiful. There are many other reviews on our main website, I encourage you to check them out for other opinions on this fabulous cabin. We do value feedback from every single guest and appreciate your opinion regarding your stay. Our goal is constant improvement and with guest feedback we are able to stay on top of issues. We intend to excel.
