Cute and quiet
It was a real nice stay. There is not a stove. The bath house was farther away from the camper than we thought that it would be. If it is very cool outside, you won’t want to use the outside shower . Miss Judi was a great host. We enjoyed the time that we talked to her.Her place is very pretty.

A Delight
This little camper was highlight of our trip to Florida! Judy was an exceedingly gracious and attentive host allowing us full use of her beautiful property. We were able to kayak, fish, grill by the water and take in Florida’s unique flora and fauna. The bathhouse was particularly enjoyable, great full bathroom amenities and nice shower to enjoy an outdoor shower experience while still being sheltered from any bugs or weather. Conveniently located 20 ish minutes outside Tampa and within 5 minutes of restaurants, stores, etc.. The overall atmosphere of this place was magical, we will definitely be coming back again!

😍 Beautiful, Charming, Peaceful, PERFECT
I can't say enough great things about my stay here. This little beauty surpassed all expectations. As funny as it sounds, I rented this property as a get away for a second date. What do you do when Coronavirus has everything shut down and you cant go out for your date? You go glamping! It was so romantic and we had so much fun around this natural Florida property. We were able to cook all of our meals with all of the thoughtful cooking accommodations, we spent the majority of our time hanging out on this perfect little lake and even went kayaking! Judi is an absolute pleasure to be around and made us feel so welcome! She takes pride in her property as she definitely should! Ruby was clean, comfortable and actually more spacious than I expected. The outside bathroom was beautiful and so well thought out. The lighting and air flow was perfect! We loved waking up, making coffee and having breakfast with Ellie cat out on the deck and taking in all of the natural surroundings. I was sad to leave and I will never forget my stay here. I cannot wait to come back - who knows, maybe for an anniversary one day! Lol.

About the host

I enjoy the art of living well, creatively. Nothing pleases me more than to share my little slice of paradise with friends and family. When life gives you lemons you pull up your bootstraps and make some amazing lemonade. Oh so sweet with a little zip, I enjoy the art of living well creatively with great food, friendships & a healthy lifestyle close to nature. While my kids are off into the world creating their own amazing life adventures, you’ll find me tending our homestead, baking in the kitchen, singing & playing music, practicing yoga or planning my own next adventure.

Why they chose this property

Years ago, and seemingly a lifetime has passed since I first stepped foot onto this Old Florida homestead with its cypress trees, sleepy Spanish moss and a breeze that blew the scent of lake through this cypress and heart wood pine saltbox style home. As a college student I rented the house, designed and built by it’s owners in 1956 while they were wintering in Honduras; little did I know I would return as a full time caregiver and marry into the family. If these walls could talk….babies were born, gardens have come and gone, there were birthdays and celebrations of life, marriages & anniversaries, house concerts, meditation retreats, school and scout parties and more dinner gatherings than I can count. Nearly 30 years later, with lots of sweat equity, the passage of loved ones and a few tears, I continue to call this place home and now share it with others, with joy and gratitude as Little Cypress Guest Suites.

What makes this property unique

As a super host with over 200 5 star reviews (as of Spring 2021), I love the art of hosting and offer a beautifully unique experience convenient to all Tampa Bay has to offer, yet a world away. Thank you for considering my home for your vacation.
