Garden chairs, wifi, TV. Outside there is a garden bench, there are garden chairs and two playgrounds for children. Your boat can be moored. Possibly for the door Monnickendam has a nice center with restaurants and shops. There is a wonderful bakery for sandwiches and cake. Every year there are many events, Jan Haring race, singalong festival, Waterland Kerkenland. Every Saturday there is a market in the center.

Great place for a family vacation

Amazing location, directly on the water. It’s a dead end road so the kids could play safely in front of the building. The town is close to the city, but offers enough to keep you busy for a few days on its own.

A veritable gem!! A lovely apt. in a working marina facing a canal where the enormous Dutch flat bottom boats are docked. The property is quiet and an easy 5 minute walk to the old part of the village. This property is a gem.

Wonderful location with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Property, clean and well equipped. The only flaw was locating the correct property due to lack of signs/address. And the key was not available as we arrived after office closed. Thankfully the locals are very helpful!!

Séjour agréable dans un chouette cadre à quelques minutes des premiers commerces de Monnickendam et à proximité d'Amsterdam. Bonne communication avec le gérant qui est réactif.Il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans la cuisine, très bonne literie pour le lit double. Le 4 ème lit est un lit tiroir. Parking gratuit à proximité du logement.

Wir haben es sehr genossen, direkt am Hafen zu wohnen...mit Ausblick auf die Segelboote/Schiffe...ruhig gelegen...gemütlich außen sitzen können...zu Fuß ist alles erreichbar in Monnickendam...und nicht zu vergessen, eine Kaspel-Kaffeemaschine🩷➡️leckerer Kaffee❗️

Entspannter Urlaub in und um Amsterdam

Wir haben eine abwechslungsreiche Woche in einer netten Ferienwohnung und einem bezaubernden Ort im Waterland verbracht. Die Nähe zu Amsterdam einschließlich der ausgezeichneten Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr haben zu einem intensiven, an Sehenswürdigkeiten reichen und trotzdem entspannten Urlaub beigetragen. Neben Amsterdam sollte unbedingt auch die nähere Umgebung erkundet werden (Edam, Volendam).

Urlaubsfeeling nahe Amsterdam

Wir waren zu einem Besuch der Vermeer Ausstellung in Amsterdam und haben diese Ferienwohnung reserviert. Eine sehr gute Entscheidung. Auto sofort in der Nähe der Wohnung, nach dem trubeligen Amsterdam ein ruhiger Platz zum Entspannen. Absolut ruhig, gute Matratzen , abends der Sonnenuntergang auf der Bank, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Gemütliche Unterkunft in der Nähe von Amsterdam

Wir hatten 4 tolle Tage in Monnickendam. Unterkunft direkt am Hafen. Sie ist sehr sauber und gemütlich. Die Küche ist ebenfalls gut ausgestattet. Kaffee, Tee, Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine - alles vorhanden. Im Ort ist alles fußläufig erreichbar, auch der Bus nach Amsterdam fuhr direkt im Ort mehrmals pro Stunde. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Mittendrin in der Idylle und nah an Amsterdam

Ein angenehm und vollständig eingerichtetes Apartment, ruhig, am Yachthafen mit Blick auf Schiffe und einen hübschen Ort - wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Die Kleinstadt Monnickendam ist einen Ausflug wert, schon wegen des Speeltoren-Museums (es beherbergt das älteste noch bespielbare Glocken. Im Museum kann man es - simuliert - ausprobieren). In 15-20 Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß eine Bushaltestelle, 2 Buslinien - hohe Frequenz - fahren in 20 Minuten zum Hbf von Amsterdam.

Sehr schönes Appt im Hafen in toller Lage!

Direkt im Hafen gelegen, sehr schönes und helles Appartement. Sehr gute Küchenausstattung, exzellente Kommunikation mit der Agentur. Die Lage erlaubt Ausflüge entlang des Ijsselmeers, nach Amsterdam und bis an die Nordseeküste. Können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Tolle Aussicht

Die Wohnung liegt direkt an einem Hafen in Monnickendam mit Ausblick auf schöne Plattbodenschiffe. Innen ist alles neu, hell, geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Würden wir immer wieder buchen!!!

The apartment is beautifully situated and you can sit outside. You can combine your stay in Midscheeps with renting one of our boats, visit Amsterdam or cycling and walking in beautiful Waterland.

The view is magnificent, it is modern and comfortably furnished. You will enjoy the nautical atmosphere. At the harbour there is a restaurant and the town centre is nearby (3 min).
