needs a refresh

Pleasant location but the interior and furnishings was like I was staying over in someone's great aunt's house who'd recently passed away. Wiring should have been condemned in the 1970s. Fusty, musty, dusty.

Appartement montagnard avec très belle vue.

Semaine très agréable dans appartement face à la montagne, plein sud . Bien équipé, dans un immeuble au charme vintage très agréable, arrêt des navettes juste devant . Nous étions en couple et avons pratiqué des balades raquettes, ski de piste ,avant d’aller encourager les équipes de Biathlon lors de l’étape de la coupe du monde du Grand Bornand . Prévoir des chaînes en cas de neige fraîche car situé en haut de la station .

Nos 2 petits fils ont bien profité du séjour. Quant à mon mari et moi nous avons pu faire de belles ballades et porter le pique nique aux skieurs le midi

une petite pause un peu bruyante

l'appartement dans son ensemble est bien, il y a très peu de rangements dans la cuisine et le réfrigérateur est pout petit. L'immeuble est très bruyant, on entend très bien les voisins

Parfait mais limité pour les familles nombreuses

Séjour très sympathique, l’appartement est idéalement placé, au calme tout en étant proche des commerces. Les équipements ne manquent pas et la literie est excellente. Attention 2ème étage SANS ascenseur. Deux points négatifs tout de même : la cuisine est en fait une kitchenette avec un frigo vraiment petit, et aucun rangement ( beaucoup de placard mais pas de place libre pour ranger car remplis de vaisselle ). Et deuxièmement problème de rangement également dans la chambre enfants : 4 lits mais aucun placard pour ranger les vêtements. Ensemble positif tout de même !

Merci pour votre commentaire constructif. Pour la cuisine, difficile de pousser les murs mais nous avons nettoyé et vidangé de la vaisselle inutile ce qui libère de la place pour le rangement. Pour le peu de rangement de la chambre, nous allons ajouter une armoire cet été.

L'appartement contient tout le nécessaire pour passer de bonnes vacances à la montagne. La vue est parfaite avec soleil pour manger le midi. Seule reproche: insonorisation pas terrible mais pas rédhibitoire.

Well placed apartment, good views over the slopes

Communication with the owner was excellent and questions were answered promptly. We had to pick the keys up from a local rental agency outside of their normal opening hours and this was also easy to arrange. The building is handily placed for the ski bus and the external parking was sufficient for about 10 cars in total. We managed to park each day but it could have been difficult in a peak week. The apartment itself was clean and the kitchen had plenty of equipment that made it great for anyone who wanted to self cater for the majority of their holiday. The main bedroom was spacious with a standalone wardrobe and chest of drawers which provide enough storage for 2 people. However, the second bedroom had no storage in it which, when you consider that there were 4 bunk beds in it, would make it quite awkward if 6 people were to stop in the apartment. The living area was OK, the TV is a little on the small side and the cushions on the 2 armchairs are starting to look a little worn. However, we had a bonus in that the owner has recently added a WiFi router which we could use as long as we didn't exceed a 10gb limit. There is also an odd arrangement with 2 saloon style swing doors to the kitchen area. We found that this made accessing the kitchen area a bit awkward. The bathroom was good with reasonable storage and a washing machine. The balcony looks over the slopes so we had some lovely views in good weather. Overall this apartment was good value and the booking experience was excellent.
