About this property

THE COTTAGE OF RURAL Bergnes, in the shade of large pine trees with pool

The cottage of Bergnes is in the heart of a livestock farm in Upper Aude Valley.
The Mediterranean-style natural environment is home to cicadas during the hot summer months in the very tall pines that surround the house.
The AUDE River is 1.5 km from the cottage and offers many fishing routes, rich and varied (contact the Quillan Fishing Federation)
You will also be kindly welcomed by our dogs, cats, chickens, horses, donkey and of course, the herd of suckler cows

The cottage is spacious, open to the outside because it has a large wooden deck and access to the pool to share with the inhabitants of the farm.
It is perfect for families (with children) and can easily accommodate 10 to 14 people
The travelers have the full occupation of the cottage, the terrace equipped with a plancha, and access to the pool to share with the inhabitants of the farm

The very small station of Campagne sur Aude is served by a line TER Carcassonne Quillan (trains and bus at 1 €)


Tractors, trailers, agricultural tools, are big gear that can be dangerous for children
Similarly, some animals, bulls for example, may be irascible and it is advisable not to get too close to their park
Therefore, for security reasons, you will be asked to stay in the leisure areas around the cottage during periods of hay, harvest or transport of animals.

Beautiful house in a very relaxing setting

We had a wonderful stay in Campagne Sur Aude. The property is beautiful and the perfect size for a large family with an annexe that suited the grandparents perfectly! The setting is rural on a small farm but not too far from the village conveniences. The pool was a big hit as well as the den in the woods and the table tennis! We had a truelly wonderful holiday with lovely hosts - Anne & Étienne welcomed us to their home whilst respecting our privacy. We will definitely like to revisit!

What a lovely house in a beautiful area!! We were celebrating our Golden Wedding with the family and could not have chosen a better place! There was plenty of room for 8 adults and 4 children (8 to 16yrs) to spread out and enjoy themselves.The pool was a lovely place to cool off during the very hot weather, and everyone was amused by the pheasant who kept chasing the cars! Anne was a lovely host. She was there to greet us when we arrived, and on hand when we had any problems, which were dealt with promptly. We would certainly love to return there sometime in the future!

Cadre naturel magnifique - ce qui nous a fait passer d'excellentes vacances -MAIS le gite n'est pas fait pour 16 personnes ; 12 suffisent .le RC est agréable mais les chambres à l'étage sont mal isolées . Le lave vaisselle est défectueux et la vaisselle ébréchée, dépareillée . la vigne vierge qui envahit les fenêtres apportent guêpes, bourdons.Un meilleur entretien général serait nécessaire .

Bonjour, Le lave vaisselle fonctionne très bien mais vous aviez trop baissé le panier du haut ce qui a bloqué le bras de lavage qui a fini par tomber au fond du lave vaisselle. Évidemment, cela ne pouvait plus fonctionner correctement. Pour le reste, nous allons tenir compte de vos remarques, sauf pour les insectes que nous ne maitrisons pas, habitants naturels de la campagne. Cordialement Anne

Location très agréable

Emplacement calme avec très jolie vue. Maison très bien, agréable, pratique, bien équipée, propre. Et la piscine... parfaite. Seul petit bémol, mais indépendant de la volonté des prioritaires, la présence de fourmis. Cela ne m'empêchera pas de conseiller cette location ou d'y revenir.

Petit coin de paradis

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end. L’accueil de Anne et Etienne a été plein de gentillesse. Les infrastructures sont parfaites : terrain de pétanque et volley, table de Ping Ping et Baby foot. Possibilité de randonnées. Ça donne envie d’y passer une semaine entière.

La casa está en un entorno encantador, en plena naturaleza y cuenta con todas las comodidades. Las habitaciones limpias, amplias y confortables, cuidadas al detalle. Nous avons passé 1 semaine à 3 familles (6 adultes et 9 enfants de 11 à 1 ans). Tout est extra : la situation d'abord : un havre de paix en pleine nature à flanc de colline avec une vue incroyable sur les montagnes environnantes. Le gite est beau, fonctionnel, décoré et meublé avec gout, avec tout ce qui est précisé dans l'annonce pour s'amuser. Et quelle piscine ! Les alentours regorgent de visites et d'activités à faire. Et les hôtes sont en plus adorables... Il faut y aller 15 jours minimum !

Très beau gite dans un décor magnifique, les propriétaires sont des passionnés d'agriculture qui sont heureux de transmettre un peu de leur passion et de leur histoire. Le gite est bien équipé et idéal pour un séjour entre amis, chacun pouvant disposer aussi bien de son propre espace que de grands espaces communs. Les extérieurs sont bien aménagés et penses pour tous les âges. Bref, à recommander

Magnifique propriété

Nous avons passé 4 jours en famille (7 adultes, 3 enfants) dans cette magnifique propriété. Un accueil vraiment chaleureux et simple, une grande disponibilité. Un beau gite, avec de magnifiques extérieurs pour petits et grands (jeux, balades, splendide piscine...) Une nature alentour que nous avions déjà pu apprécier lors de précédents séjours dans la région et qui est d'une grande beauté. Merci de nous avoir reçus dans votre maison.

Très agréable séjour dans ce gite idéalement placé.

Nous étions 16 ( 5 adultes et 11 enfants) et nous avons apprécié les nombreuses commodités de ce gite. Large séjour avec cuisine ouverte donnant sur terrasse, belle vue sur les montagnes environnantes, nombreuses chambres avec salle de bains, jeux . L'accueil des propriétaires et la proximité avec la ferme attenante a contribué à la qualité de ce séjour.

Nous étions 6 adultes et 5 ados .L 'endroit est très agréable et calme. La terrasse offre une vue magnifique, la piscine est grande et bien aménagée, le gite est confortable et assez grand pour 12, la literie est de bonne qualité. On peut se balader à pied au départ du gîte. Les propriétaires sont disponibles et très arrangeants. Je recommande

Maison tres confortable dans un cadre exceptionnel

Nous venons de passer une semaine de vacances dans cette maison à 14 (6 adultes et 8 enfants de 4 à 15 ans). Propriétaires très accueillants, maison tres bien équipée et bien adaptée à ce type de vacances entre plusieurs familles, grande piscine avec vue magnifique (partagée avec les propriétaires et leur famille), emplacement de la maison isolée dans un calme absolu et châteaux cathares à proximité. Une semaine géniale !
