In terms of location, there is simply no more convenient location than Sundial Lodge from which to enjoy Park City's 7300 acres of terrain. When you stay at Sundial you are at the very heart and center of the resort plaza. The property adjoins the main Red Pine gondola, houses the resort ski school, ski rentals, and ski shop, and wraps around the forum which is the hub of apres ski activity. No "near" or "close" to the lifts as many others promise, Sundial Lodge IS the very heart and center with NO OTHER PROPERTY MORE CONVENIENT to both skiing/boarding and resort plaza amenities including apres ski activities for adults and children alike, restaurants, shops, free concerts and more. Enjoy concerts in spring and summer. Summer enjoys the golf course, ziplines, mountain biking, hiking, and much more (all just out the door).
Meanwhile, the property has the amenities to deliver the superior experience you are looking for. The property has a year-round heated outdoor pool, multiple hot tubs (both pool and roof level), relaxing gas fire pits (both pool and roof level), gym, luxury ski check with boot dryers, complimentary wifi, paid underground parking, and more.
This is one of the best two-bedroom units at Sundial with superior upgrades including plank flooring. Living area with fireplace, door to balcony, and flatscreen TV, DVD, sofabed, seating at both table and bar.

As noted, immediately out the door you will find your skiing/boarding (Red Pine Gondola right out the door; heated Orange Bubble Chair just beyond), main resort ski shop and rental (located right in Sundial, ground level with exterior entrance), ski school, restaurants (from the top-rated The Farm, to the casual Umbrella Bar, to The Bistro at Canyons which features a Kosher menu), etc. In spring and summer free concerts, and the new Canyons golf course.
And while you have the largest ski resort and all that Canyons Village has to offer at your doorstep, if you want to venture beyond (Historic Main Street, Deer Valley, etc.) note that free bus/shuttle stop is conveniently located just a few steps from Sundial.

Have stayed at Sundial Lodge before and this was definitely our favorite 2 bedroom unit. Beautiful, clean, new unit upgraded well beyond that of other units, overlooking the resort plaza. Meanwhile can't beat Sundial for location, this time we used the ski/bike valet and gondola for mountain biking, while we have already booked our return stay for skiing this winter!
Great rate, incredible location, had all the essentials you would need. Only thing it lacked was a warmth / coziness aspect. No rugs, throw blankets, basket of games, or other extras that make you want to unwind post skiing. These are things we notice are included with some other properties. So it felt slightly sterile.

It’s all about location! Right at the lifts, right in the action area. Parking was great, the rooms were fine, easy in and out, and seconds to the chairs.
The property was well located to the gondola and very convenient! The condo was clean and well appointed. The owners were responsive. Our only issue was that we had arranged house keeping that didn’t show the first day. But the owners were on top of things and made sure they arrived all other days.

Great location
We had a wonderful time at the sundial Lodge. This unit is clean and modern. It would be hard to find much to complain about, but I suppose the one thing I tend to find with vrbo units is they could have a few more dishes and utensils (why doesn’t anyone have an ice cream scoop?), overall it was well appointed. You can’t beat the convenience to the gondola and the orange bubble lift. I would stay here again.
We always stay at sundial and chose this unit for its space and 2 king beds ! Condo is clean, updated, and has everything you need to be comfortable on vacation. Will book again!
1) this property is situated on a large common area next to a Park City resort lift. Fairly load music plays from mid-morning until late in the evening and is audible inside the condo. If you're out skiing all day, it probably won't bother you. If someone in your group wants to stay at the condo and read a book, the music will become annoying.
2) the condo building will take NO RESPONSIBILITY for damage to your vehicle in their parking garage. Our rental vehicle had the garage entry gate come down it's hood; no damage would have likely occurred if the condo building had not installed a metal sign that extended below the wooden gate arm. The building maintenance manager flatly refused to consider any compensation for the damage due to the vehicle claiming that signs with a notice of "not responsible for any damage" absolved the building of any liability. I made a bunch of phone calls to the building management and owners and finally got them to submit a claim to their insurance. Of course, my claim was denied...
Otherwise, the actual condo owners were VERY responsive to inquiries (they brought us a brand new and in-the-box crock pot when we asked if the condo had one). If the above two issues don't concern you, then this is an otherwise nice condo.
Excellent property BUT someone in our group had a Covid scare that turned out negative but before we had gotten out test results back I called (1 week before arriving) and asked the property manager about cancellation and she said absolutely NO refund. So be sure before you book. Other than that Kristin the property manager was super helpful and accommodating with all our needs.
Couldn't beat it for our family of 5. Great location and a short uber ride away from the fun in downtown Park City. There is really no reason to leave and plenty to do in the Canyons. I highly recommend this unit in the Sundial Lodge.
