This wonderful vacation home (major renovations completed in 2020 & also in 2021) is only a block away from the beach, has a very open floor plan, has 20+ ft cathedral ceilings (very open & airy), and is located in the heart of Cherry Grove. This vacation Home is located on a canal overlooking salt water marshes which are home to colorful and fascinating wildlife. This home has a great view of the Channel, which connects to the meandering creeks of the estuary where you can sit on the dock, relax and watch the Pelicans, Osprey & Egrets. From the dock you can fish or crab, or simply enjoy the quiet, beautiful surroundings, beautiful sunsets. Parking for 8 Autos. I Charlene Law have owned and managed this property since 2013; I am a teacher for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools and love teaching... almost as much as I love Cherry Grove Beach. If you are a Family seeking a relaxing beach vacation, we would love to have you enjoy our lovely beach house.

Great location

We loved the dead end street, marsh views and easy walk to the beach. The kids loved using the boogie boards and the outside shower was super helpful. Thanks for having us!

Myself, my 3 kids and their spouses and my 6 grandkids had an amazing week here! The house was perfect for us. The boys loved fishing off the dock and shooting hoops while the girls walked a short block and hung out at the beach. Beautiful views of the marsh and you can sit on back deck and watch gorgeous sunsets. Nice quiet neighborhood setting. Owner was very responsive and engaging. We will definitely be back!

Great family getaway

We stayed here to celebrate the end of finals with our three college aged sons. What a great location...a block from the beach and right on the marsh/channel. A great home for relaxing and kicking back. The house is clean and well furnished with everything needed for cooking, beach life and chilling. Ample space...nice to have bedrooms upstairs and downstairs...not crowding one another. The house is welcoming and not "fussy". We will be back!

GREAT house. It is located within walking distance to the beach, which made it good for those who wanted to stay longer on the beach than others.The amenites were as described, all linens and towels provided in rental fee.The kitchen was well furnished to allow preparation of in home meals. Plenty of room for our family of 11. The dock on the channel provided plenty of fun for the kids while fishing and crabing It is locate dclose to good restaurants and shopping malls. I highly recommend this property. I plan on reuseing on my next visit.

Would Reserve Again

First time visitors of Cherry Grove Beach and we were all pleasantly surprised by it. If you're not into the traditional Myrtle Beach feel, don't worry as it doesn't feel like that. While these canal houses are packed in without privacy from one to the next, the benefits of this place outweigh that. The neighbors on both sides were very friendly and a pleasure to chat with. The sunsets from the porches here are fantastic. We were able to launch our kayaks & SUP from the back deck. The beach there is big, especially at low tide, so you don't feel like you're on top of other people. The waves were great literally every single day of our week-stay for boogie boarding, and the tide pools awesome for little ones. The house was quite clean, save for a pile of soaking wet and dirty cloths outside the shower nearest to the kitchen at check-in. The 5th bedroom and "loft" area really don't have any privacy from each other as there is a glass sliding door that separates the 2, and the trundle blocks the path to the bedroom when it's being used, but it was mostly perfect for our kids. The under-the-house area is sweet and the adults pretty much spent their entire time there. I, personally, never even showered in the house as the outdoor shower was nice with its privacy and hot water. So much to like about this house, we'd come back for sure. The cons: since booking this house months and months ago, I relied on VRBO's reservation details page for this reservation, and nowhere on there does it remind the renter there aren't linens or towels. In fact, it says "From a fully equipped kitchen to linen and towels" in the "What's provided" section, and the "Checkout" section on that page there instructs us on what to do with the linens and towels. But there are no linens and towels. Luckily there is a Wal-mart nearby where you can purchase sheets (comforters are already there), bathtowels, and kitchen towels. There are also cameras -- outside only as far as we could tell -- which made some of us uncomfortable even though we weren't doing anything questionable. Just be aware of these things, and you should enjoy your stay!

Excellent family home

We rented the house over Thanksgiving. It was a short walk to the beach and a good walk or short drive to the pier. The house was perfect for our large family of adults. We only had one small child but there was room for more. I really enjoyed the house because it feels like a home. The house was well equipped.

we enjoyed our stay . found it to be clean except quite a few "hairs " in the bathrooms . confused about how much cleaning we are required to do. we vacuumed the whole house. if u are paying some one to clean after we left it was already clean. looking forward to our stay july 15-22.

Great House!

Had a wonderful time with our family of 9 at this home. Very spacious and clean! Kids fished from the channel pier and only a short walk to the beach. Having all the linens provided is a plus when packing. We would certainly return to this home for future vacations in the area.
