About this property

Mountain Escape; Superb Self Catering Apartment in Stunning Surroundings

Apartma Bela Breza is a modern, comfortable,cosy home from home.
Our apartment accommodates up to six people and comprises of: 2 comfortable bedrooms, one with a King-size bed and the other with either 2 singles or an Austrian-style double bed, a baby cot, high chair and dining set are available; A large lounge/diner with TV, DVD/video player (and some films), radio/CD player, free WiFi, double sofa-bed and dining area; A comprehensively equipped kitchen including hob, full oven, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle and loads of utensils; A shower room/WC; Own entrance from the garden through the sunny conservatory/breakfast room; A balcony and garden with seating and garden swing and (we think) the best views in the valley.
We are in the quiet village of Šentjanž with shops, an excellent bakery, and bars in easy walking/cycling distance. A selection of supermarkets, eateries and bars are also near.
We have fantastic walking and cycling either starting from our house or going further afield, fishing/angling, kayaking/rafting, snow sports (in season), as well as more gentle activities such as nature watching, foraging, and so much more.
The area is a photographer's/artist's destination as we have the 'WOW' factor in abundance not just from the garden but in places to visit. For example, the Solčavsko (European Destination of Excellence Award winner) and Kamnisko-Savinja Alp Region; The world famous Logarska Dolina (Logar Valley) with the amazing Rinka waterfall; Velika Planina and it's unique settlement on the top are just some of the places you'll remember for ever and want to come back to.
The city of Ljubljana is an hour away by car and is famous for it's friendly, cosy vibe. Like the country itself, it is small and very welcoming.
There is so much to enjoy here and we love to share our wealth of local knowledge with guests. We have a small number of day bags and walking poles, a picnic set and cool-bag, some bicycles and walking advice, daily weather updates for guests to make use of (without charge).
We are approx. 1 hour away from Ljubljana airport and a hire car is highly recommended in order to be independent and truly access and explore what we have to offer.

Es war ein sehr sauberes Objekt. Liebe zum Detail steckte in der Einrichtung. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und gab viele Tipps. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.Leider stellten wir fest, dass diese Region für Wanderfreudige noch nicht gut erschlossen ist, wenig Markierungen an den Wegen - für Senioren, die ihre Strecken etwas kalkulieren müssen, etwas stressig.

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Wir waren als Familie mit unserem Sohn dort. Es hat allen super gut gefallen. Die Vermieter geben gerne Auskunft zu Ausflugszielen in der Umgebeung und sind sehr freundlich.
35 Minuten oberhalb des Rinka Wasserfall im Tal "Logarska dolina"
Zovnek Castle
See direkt neben der Straße nördlich der Schlucht Veliki Predaselj. Es gibt eine schöne Wanderung am Rande der Schlucht.

Wir haben uns bei Diane und Colin sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung hat eine gute Ausgangslage für Ausflüge und eine tolle Aussicht in Hanglage. Colin versorgte uns diesbezüglich mit vielen wertvollen Tipps und hat uns sogar zu einer geheimnisvollen Höhle geführt, mit Nervenitzel. Leider war das WiFi zum Leidwesen unserer Teenager-Kinder praktisch nicht vorhanden. Dafür haben wir bei Gesellschaftsspielen mehr Zeit miteinander verbracht!! Mutter und Vater freut's! Es gab sogar frisches Gemüse für uns aus dem Garten! Es war unser erster Besuch in Slowenien aber sicher nicht unser letzter. Dann gerne wieder bei Colin und Diane.

Herzlichkeit in ruhiger Lage

Die sehr grosszügige und individuell eingerichtete Wohnung hat alle beschriebenen Vorzüge. Wirklich aussergewöhnlich sind aber die Gastgeber, Diane und Colin. Herzlich, zugewand und hilfsbereit gab es nicht nur frische Blumen beim Einzug, sondern auch viele Tipps zum Erkunden der Umgebung.Gerne leihen Sie Fährräder aus, mit denen man das Tal erkunden kann. Urlaub mit vielfältigen Möglichkeiten

Unser Aufenthalt war rundum gelungen. Eine gemütlich eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, überall standen frische Blumen, so dass wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt haben. Wir haben viele wertvolle Tipps von unseren zuvorkommenden Gastgeber:innen erhalten, es gibt tolle Möglichkeiten, in der naheliegenden Savinja zu baden, die Berge sind in greifbarer Nähe, und abends haben wir die schöne Terrasse genossen. Es war unser erster Urlaub in Slowenien, wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

We had a really great time in this beautiful part of Slowenia! Diane & Colin are the best!

Diane & Colin standen uns jeder Zeit zur Verfügung, gaben uns tolle Insider Tipps, waren immer für ein spannendes Gespräch zu haben und gaben einem stets das Gefühl willkommen zu sein. Wir haben uns extrem wohlgefühlt! Die Ferienwohnung ist ein Träumchen - man hat von der Terrasse aus einen fantastischen Ausblick und jeder early bird kann von dort bei einem Kaffee den Sonnenaufgang genießen. Die Umgebung hat viel zu bieten. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell beim nächsten Restaurant, Supermarkt oder Ausflugsziel. Durch und durch top! :D

Gastfreundschaft pur

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder und 1 Hund) waren zum ersten Mal in Slowenien und haben den Aufenthalt bei Colin und Diane wirklich genossen. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und sehr sauber. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf die nahen Berge. Zum Fluss Savinja ist es zu Fuß nicht weit. An heißen Tagen konnte man sich dort prima erfrischen. In einem Umkreis von bis zu 70 km kann man herrliche Wanderungen und Ausflüge unternehmen - natürlich kann man auch direkt vom Haus aus losmarschieren. Es lohnt sich, einen Wanderführer/ Reiseführer mitzunehmen, aber Colin und Diane haben unendliche viele Tipps für Unternehmungen, Restaurants etc. , gerade auch für Dinge, die man in keinem Reiseführer findet. (Danke für die tolle Tour zum "geheimen Wasserfall" und der "Fledermaushöhle": für unsere Jungs ein Highlight der Reise! Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und touristisch noch nicht überlaufen - auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert.

mooie lokatie met gepassioneerde eigenaars

*gelegen in een prachtige vallei was deze locatie voor ons een ideaal verblijf tijdens de regenachtige dagen die wij er door brachten. Jammer dat de eigenaars de eerste dagen niet aanwezig waren, vol passie vertelden zij over de geschiedenis, het dagelijkse leven van de plaatselijke bevolking; de mooie uitstappen, wandelingen vol verrassingen, verborgen plekken en veel meer. De woning voldeed aan alle verwachtingen.

Empfehlung für jeden Slowenien Urlauber

Vielen Dank für die wundervollen 12Tage. Wir konnten das wahre Slowenien in vollen Zügen genießen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und geräumig, die Sonne haben wir auf der Terrasse in der Hollywood Schaukel genossen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Thank you D.& C. for the great time, we enjoyed it.

Peaceful country side apartment!

Our stay was awesome. Colin and Diane were wonderful hosts. The 2-bedroom apartment was prefect for our family of four. It is on the side of a mountain with amazing views and whimsical villages surrounding it. They were very hospitable and we appreciated their attentiveness. We hope to visit again!
