With 2,000 beautifully furnished square feet, Cajun Spice offers plenty of room for as many as six guests to unwind between visits to Dollywood, downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The home’s outdoor spaces are even more glorious than its interior.
Inside or out, however, you’ll be able to relish spectacular views of the mountains, the woodlands and the seemingly endless sky. Bring your breakfast out to the deck’s dining set and watch the morning mist rise from the Smokies. Snuggle on the deck swing with your sweetheart late at night in the silvery moonlight as owls hoot in the woods.
And any time, day or night is ideal for luxuriating in the deck’s hot tub. Stairs from the deck lead down to another patio area, as well as farther down to the creek that burbles along the lush property.
As serene and beautiful as Cajun Spice’s outdoor areas are, you do have to head indoors sometime. But even while you kick back in the great room, you’ll almost feel as if you’re outdoors, thanks to the oversized windows. Furnished with a plush sofa, armchairs and a pair of sumptuous recliners, the room allows everyone to comfortably watch TV or surf the web via the free Wi-Fi. On chilly winter evenings, the gas fireplace will make the room even more inviting. The great room includes a dining table that seats six, along with a breakfast bar that seats four. Cajun Spice’s kitchen will definitely have you eager to get cooking. Equipped with stainless steel appliances, a full array of cookware and tableware and plenty of counter space, this sunny open area is large enough to accommodate several chefs—and like the rest of the great room, it allows you to gaze out at the mountains as you go about your business. What’s more, you can cook outdoors on the home’s charcoal grill. Mmm, barbecue!
One of Cajun Spice’s bedrooms is just off the great room, and like the great room, it opens directly onto the deck. If you sleep here, you can be the first one into the hot tub in the morning! The bedroom itself includes a queen-size bed and a wall-mounted TV. So does the upstairs bedroom, which also boasts a delightful reading nook for two, a wood-planked cathedral ceiling and huge windows that provide you with a bird’s-eye view of the surrounding trees.
The loft includes a third sleeping area as well. Like the two bedrooms, this features a queen-size bed and a ceiling fan to help lull you to sleep on evenings when it’s not quite warm enough for the air-conditioning. As a bonus, the loft has a foosball table, perfect for after-dinner entertainment.
Cajun Spice has a bathroom on each floor. The main floor’s bathroom features a combination shower/tub, while the upstairs en-suite has a shower. We’ll provide all the clean towels you could possibly need, and of course, the beds will be beautifully made up, with extra bedding at the ready, when you arrive. Other conveniences include a washer and a dryer, so you can pack lighter than usual.
Located in Gatlinburg’s desirable Cobbly Nob community, Cajun Spice is less than 10 minutes from Bent Creek Golf Course, designed by Grand Slam champion Gary Player. Just a few miles farther is the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community, an eight-mile trail of shops, galleries and studios. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only 20 minutes away, and just a few minutes further is downtown Gatlinburg, whose attractions include Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Guinness World Records Adventure and Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre.
No matter how you spend your days, you’ll love returning to the laid-back comforts of Cajun Spice. Book your stay today and get ready for a getaway you’ll long remember.

We loved the cabin! The view was amazing and the amenities were great. I was there with two boys and they enjoyed the hot tub, grilling and game nights. We would definitely be back.
Cabin was very clean, the bathroom upstairs was kind of small, but we made it work. The bedroom downstairs, the bathroom was not attached. But overall nice place, great views.

Not very Impressed
The place is kind of a dump. Needs ALOT of work inside and out! Not very clean, bathroom was the worst. Needs alot of updating as well. Pillows were terrible!
Beautiful scenery, quiet yet still close to town. Excellent range but need better kitchen supplies. No utensils for grill and no master bath.
Big enough for 6 people to be comfortable.
Lounge chairs in living room were all nice!
Great week - just stay out of Gatlinburg this time of year!!
Very nice cabin in the woods. Our family had a wonderful time and the house was just as pictured. Beautiful views all around. Stairway in backyard leads to a cute deck overlooking a stream. We had a small problem at check in with the door code, but was quickly resolved. Would definitely recommend staying here.
My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Cajun Spice! The view is gorgeous, the cabin was clean and homey, the outdoor area perfect. Jackson Homes quickly helped us get in when the first code did not work. I did not have much cell service in this exact spot and wifi was spotty, but I was happy to have what we visited for - family time and fresh air.

We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the fresh air with the family at Cajun Spice Cabin. And thanks for your patience during check-in, Nicole! We always want to be available for each of our guests.
This was a great cabin and very secluded . Being able to hear the creek below was a plus. We walked down the steps and waded through the creek and it was very relaxing. Great place, great communication. We will rent again a d again!
My parents, husband and 2 month old baby had an excellent 2 night stay! Lots of space inside and out and beautiful view of the mountains! Not the best for cell reception, but we enjoyed being “off the grid” for a few days! Would highly recommend

It was a great place to relax & some quiet time to catch up with my husband, enjoyed our morning coffee and dinner on the deck in the serene mountains view with birds chirping & water sounds from the creek below. Good advice from prior guests to bring your own pillows!

Good location
My family and I loved the layout and size of this cabin! Overall we mostly enjoyed staying here. Check in was horrible, I was provided the wrong code and when I called the after hours “maintenance” (phone number provided on app) I could not get ahold of anyone. I finally called a number I found on a sign by the road and was able to talk with someone. They were able to get us in the cabin, but had to call the main office the next day to get new code. Thank god we checked in on a Thursday, so we had Friday to get ahold of the office. There were a few complaints/disappointments; barely any cooking utensils, the cabin apparently sleeps 6 but you are only provided 4 forks, the bedding is super outdated, the recliners in the living room have no cushion (literally you sit on the frame), the upstairs shower is barely big enough for a 5 year old child to use, and no cleaning products available. Overall, if you plan on eating out every meal, and bringing your own bedding and not sitting in the furniture after waking around all day in Pigeon Forge, then this place will work for you.

Rough start beautiful stay
Overall great views, excellent location, good amenties, poor check-in and checkout. The code given with check in info did not work and phone reception is spotty so wandering around in the dark or driving down the mountain are options for calling for a new one. The third code finally worked. Getting in at night and with 2 kids after a 10 hour drive, so this was a horrible start to our vacation. This is a common comment in reviews and the property manager should address it as the property is pretty amazing otherwise. The views are great and the stairs down to the creek made adventuring with the kids around the cabin great. The hot tub was nice yet a bit dirty and low on water. Plenty of space in the all the rooms. Fooseball table was a win with my 10 year old. Tub downstairs could use a plug as giving my 2 year old a bath was a task without one. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies except it needs more forks and a spatula for cooking. Having the grill was nice for cooking out. The electric fireplace was great for warming up. The house could use a deep clean and the living room furniture is well loved and could be replaced. I'd suggested bringing your own pillow as they were subpar. There were a few different sets of check out instructions which was confusing. The house is not far for Gatlinburg which was great, drive up the mountain can be rough, but our van handled it fine in March. I would stay again if the check in and check out process was improved.
Cleaning was missed on a few things and the ???? router wasn’t working and the lock wasn’t working with the codes I was provided so had to call the office to be able to get in but overall it was a very nice place

Okay
When first getting there we could not get in the door. The code we were given would not work. When I tried to call I could not get good service and kept getting disconnected. The house looked like it needed a deep clean. The showers had black mold on the shower curtain downstairs and the shower door upstairs. My sheets had dirt and hair on them. When I tried checking out I could not find the checkout link in my email. Overall I would say it wasnt worth the price.
The location of the cabin is perfect. Easy to get to. Arriving to the cabin, the passcode I was given did not work. I was able to call and speak with someone and they gave me another code to use.
There is a bedroom downstairs with a double bed and a seperate full bathroom. Upstairs is the other bedroom with a double bed. The bathroom is very small and the shower is the size of a cruise ship shower. The sink is out in the bedroom area. But the bedroom upstairs is roomy with a nice view. There is an additional double bed in the loft area. I do recommend bringing extra pillows.
The AC worked great! We were able to sign onto the wifi, but it is slow and kept getting kicked off. The router is in the owners bedroom, so maintenance had to come a reset it. It worked a little better after that.
The cable kept going out. We called maintenance and waited a few hours and no one showed. We left for lunch and when we returned we seen the box had been moved but no note or anything saying they had been there. We called and they told us then the box was bad.
The main TV controller for the living room is apparently in the owners room. So you aren't able to watch Netflix. I had an extra HDMI cord that we tried and the TV then worked perfectly. So it wasn't the box.
The porch is nice and the view is beautiful! There is a grill and a firepit. The hot tub is nice but one of the levers is broken so putting the top back onto one side isn't as easy.
There are 2 black bears that like to visit! In the morning between 8-930am and evenings around 6-7pm. We didnt have any issues though.
Loved the kitchen and living room area! The cabin does need some TLC, but it was overall nice and I would stay there again.

Nice cabin but needs some attention to the details.
Overall this cabin was nice, not overly impressive but nice. The view was amazing and the deck with the fire pit and hot tub were the best parts of the cabin. The access to the stream was a nice touch (if you are up to walking up almost 200 stairs!)
The cabin itself has great potential but was in need of a serious deep clean, paint and attention to some details. The bedding was old and worn. The pillows were so lumpy and almost felt like they were falling apart. The bedding was old, worn and stained. This is not a great feeling to feel like the bedding is not clean. There was dust, dirt and bugs in the corners and windows. The grass around the cabin was not mowed and very tall. The presentation from the outside appeared as if nobody was taking care of the outside of the cabin. I do understand that this is a cabin in the mountains but it appeared that the overall cleaning was just a surface cleaning. Due to the availability, we stayed at another cabin three days prior to staying at this one and the cabin was immaculate and well taken care of.
As for communication, this cabin is managed by a management company. They were difficult to communicate with. We attempted to ask questions prior to our arrival and did not receive prompt responses or responses that were answering our questions. We gave up asking. Once we got to the property, the entry code that was given to us was incorrect and we could not enter the cabin. We called a phone number and waited at least 20+ minutes for someone to answer. It took the person on the other line 3 different codes for us to try prior to being able to enter the cabin. As you can imagine in the mountains, cell service is spotty so this was a little unnerving relying on our cell phone to obtain the correct code. Once we entered, the instructions on the app that was sent to us to use to access the wi-fi was different than the instructions inside the cabin. Neither worked and we had to call the management company again. They did finally send someone to the property to assist with the wi-fi and some TV issues but we shouldn't have had to go through all of that.
Overall this could be an amazing cabin. The view from the bedroom was amazing and the deck was impressive. If I were the owner, I would look into the management company that manages the property. Their attention to the details and overall cleanliness of the property does not help to promote what could be a great cabin.
