Come stay at our beautiful old farm house, minutes from Cooperstown, NY. Enjoy hiking, relaxing, perennial flowers. Plenty of room for kids to play outside far back from the road . Picnic and BBQ,grill included, outside on the patio with great views.
Wi-Fi and landline phone provided.
Minutes from Basswood Pond where you can fish and canoe or kayak.
Fly Creek Cider Mill is a popular tourist stop just miles from the farm heading to Cooperstown, a great family experience. Both Basswood and the Cider Mill have websites.
Reservations are for a minimum of 6 nights, refer to the 2024 Dream Parks baseball schedule in the photo section or go on line to https://www.cooperstownstay.com/baseball-tournament-schedule-573967949

12 miles from shopping and Cooperstown area with tourist attractions like the Baseball Hall of Fame, Fenimore Art Museum, Hyde Hall, the Brewery Ommegang and Otsego Lake. 30 minutes from Oneonta which offers a wide variety of restaurants and boutiques.
A great place for families to stay while attending youth baseball tournaments or just have a relaxing family vacation in the country.

Beautiful Property

We stayed here with another family while our sons played baseball at the Cooperstown All Star Village in town. This was a perfect space and close enough to the fields for travel each day. If we are ever in the area again, we'd definitely stay here!

This house was perfect!

We came for the Cooperstown baseball tournament. This house was perfect for us and not too far from the field. We definitely would love to stay at this house again.

This is our second visit to the farm. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable and peaceful stay. We chose this spot as it is a central location for attending area events. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, even leaving us a welcome gift of his own honey! We’d absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing escape. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful property

Gene provided a lovely farm house with everything we needed. The home was clean and comfortable but the best part for us was the 5 acres of property that we were free to explore. The views were amazing and being there was very relaxing and peaceful.

Great Getaway!!

Great place to get away from it all. Large yard for the family and a great patio with a grill to relax. Also 20 min from Cooperstown Dreams Park so very close to all the action. Large kitchen and living room very spacious home to sit out the rain delays or for the morning breakfast and family dinners.

Great Country Stay

Perfect! Can’t say much more. House was well kept and terrific location for our stay in the Cooperstown area. Winery, brewery, meadery, and cider mill all nearby. Also some fantastic HONEY. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful property

This farmhouse is located in a beautiful setting. About 25 minutes away from Cooperstown it was an easy and scenic ride to get to and from. The farmhouse has a trail up a hill which was nice to do around sunset time. At night the pretty fire flys were so neat to see. There was plenty of space for our family and a large living room for family game nights. Gene is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend this farmhouse, nice getaway yet close to Cooperstown, area lakes, etc.

Five Stars and Five Thumbs Up

Everything was above and beyond our expectations with absolutely no complaints. Please note it is rural and quiet, but exactly what we were hoping for. Mr. Roy was accommodating in every way and wished we would have had an opportunity to meet him in person. Information he provided in brochure for the area was thorough and accurate, very clean and well kept and just a beautiful place. Wished we could have stayed longer and done some hiking up behind the farm but our schedule wouldn't allow it. No questions on where we'll be staying if we ever have an opportunity to revisit the area.

Charming bucolic setting, peace and tranquility

Absolutely beautiful! If you are looking for peace, quiet and tranquility, this place is for you! We chose this property as a jumping off point for events we attend annually. The proximity to Cooperstown is an added bonus. The house had everything we needed with lots of space and amenities. We loved walking on the trails with views of surrounding hills and farms. Gene was a great host and his honey is delicious. We bought more to bring home with us! We hope to return next year at the same time! Thank you, Gene for sharing this lovely property with us.

Stayed here while my son was playing in Cooperstown. It's about 20-25 mins from the park. It's very roomy with older country comfort, which I loved. It ended up only being me and my daughter, so we didn't utilize the upstairs.Everything was where the host said it would be, they left a convenient binder of information and some local suggestions. There is a Dollar General with a larger food selection and a gas station only about 3 miles away if anything is needed :-)If staying for Cooperstown..... get to the opening ceremony as early as you can. It fills up quickly and they do not allow saving of seats. It's A LOT of running around, and this is a great quiet place to relax after a busy day!

Arrived to a clean country farm home that was ready for us to relax after a long drive. Gene was very responsive and brought a package to the property that I ordered ahead of my trip and got there early. Was 22min to Dreams Park but the drive was well worth the savings as compared to renting in town. Internet service was fantastic and all TVs were setup for streaming services.

Country Home

Very comfortable large rooms on the bottom level. We did not use the upstairs because we didn't find it necessary. We were on the go most of the time during our stay but enjoyed relaxing on the property when the day's activities were complete.

Outside of Cooperstown

Gene has a wonderful property with lots of room. A farm with acres and acres of hiking trails, trees, hills, etc. Our second year and we'll be back again.

Wonderful place to stay while in Cooperstown

Lovely, relaxing old farmhouse in the Cooperstown area. We so enjoyed hiking up to the top of the hill. Wish we could have stayed longer and explored more. Such a beautiful area!
