Casa Ensenada Isla Mujeres is a one of a kind family property in Isla Mujeres, situated next to the Caribbean Sea, surrounded by protected mangroves and abundant wildlife. The entire East side of the home is full of terraces & windows, incredible natural lighting, the sounds of the ocean & absolute privacy. We are a full-service property, which includes daily maid cleaning, concierge services, & on-site personnel to anticipate your every need.

HOUSE OVERVIEW:
This listing has 4 bedrooms & 5 bathrooms:
• 2 rooms with king beds
• 1 room with queen bed
• 1 room with custom bunk bed (full mattress on bottom, twin on top)

GUEST LIMIT:
There are 9 guest sleeping spaces in beds. With our extra sleeping arrangements, we can sleep comfortably 11 guests. We will allow up to 15 total guests in the home, for $50 USD extra per person, per night after 11. Both children and adults are included in this total.

•The third level of the home is an apartment overlooking the Caribbean. This Penthouse Apartment has its own separate entrance and a connecting door to the house that is locked when either unit is rented or in use, which gives you complete privacy and sole access to the first two floors of the house. When renting the main house, you do not have access to the apartment and it may be occupied by the owner during your stay. The third level can be added onto your reservation for an additional rate per night (pending availability). This adds-on 2 extra bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a 2nd fully equipped kitchen, living/dining room and terrace. LEVEL ONE:
• We created our home to be family friendly, as well as an incredible place to work or to getaway with friends. The first floor of the home has a fully equipped chef’s kitchen with quartz countertops, an industrial refrigerator, a gas oven and range, as well as an electric oven and all of the appliances and cooking equipment that you might need to prepare your meals or our house staff to do so for you. There is an eat-in kitchen table, as well as a ten person dining room table, living room and TV room with bluetooth sound bar and Smart TV off of the living room that is a popular spot for the kids, while the adults are socializing in the common spaces. Every room in the home is equipped with a Smart TV, private bathroom and a laptop-sized safe, for your convenience.

• The first floor terrace has a beautiful heated salt water pool with an LED light system and waterfall fountain, an eight person dining table, living area, relaxing hammock, and a gate to the protected mangrove forest with a descending path to the seasonal & weather permitting beach / ocean below. There is a bathroom with a rainfall shower located at the front of the house to wash off your sandy feet before heading back inside.

• The first floor of the home has a beautiful bedroom with a king size bed, private bathroom and large closet. This bedroom can be used for anyone that has problems with going up stairs, since the home has a wheelchair accessible ramp connected to the front staircase.

LEVEL TWO:
• The second floor has a master bedroom with a king size canopy bed, private bathroom and balcony with a hanging swing chair, outdoor seating and a small table to have your morning coffee or tea while listening to the sounds of the nearby ocean. There is a children’s suite with a custom bunk bed, with a full size mattress on bottom and an individual bunk on top. This bedroom also has a private bathroom with a combination bathtub / shower for the little ones, as well as a large closet, toys, books and games. There is also another guest suite with a queen size bed, private bathroom and closet on the second floor.

BEACH & OCEAN ACCESS:
• Our home is situated on an inlet on the Caribbean side of Isla Mujeres. The ocean and beach below can be reached by a wooden stair ladder, followed by a descending path through the island rock. Since our house is on a cliff, there is a decline to go down to the water, and an incline to come back up. While the swim-ability of the ocean below is weather permitting and the size of the beach is seasonal, the views are always stunning.

• Starting around March until mid September, there are sandy areas to set up the beach items we provide including beach chairs, towels & mats, beach bags, umbrellas, adult & youth snorkel gear, coolers, floaties, life jackets, bodyboards and sand toys. Don’t forget, we have a complimentary beach set-up service! In the summer months, especially in the afternoons from two o’clock until after sunset, it is in our opinion the most relaxing place on the whole island. When the water is calm, you may go swimming or wade through the water and is excellent for those who are more adventurous, or enjoy snorkeling.

• Although it may be too rocky for children to go swimming, it is still a magical experience, as they can enjoy playing in the sand with our sand toys, splash on the shoreline, or hunt for shells and sea glass.

• From October to February, the beach recedes on this side of the island. When heavy rain, wind or Nortes, a strong, cool northern wind, is passing through, it may not be safe to go down to the water because of the strong waves and rocky areas that wash away walkable beaches. Be sure to check the rocks after a storm, as that's when all the true treasures are washed to shore. Only the public beaches downtown have lifeguards, so it is never recommended to go out too far. We also recommend packing & wearing water shoes.

• Our friendly concierge lives locally on the island; this complementary service is available to help you plan the perfect, stress-free vacation and ensure your every desire has been anticipated. Let us pre-stock your fridge with your favorite drinks and snacks, arrange a golf cart to be delivered to the home, plan an excursion out on the water (sunset cruises, snorkeling, fishing & more!), special requests such as fresh flowers, champagne welcome or birthday cakes and help with restaurant recommendations based on your preferences.

• There are eight security cameras live recording the perimeter & entrances of the home that are on at all times for security purposes.
• One staff member lives on the service level of the home, located below level one.
