Multi-purpose, secluded lodge with scenic views.

Smith Lodge is a spacious facility in the heart of the Bear Lodge Mountains. Located just 5 miles outside of Sundance we are ideally located between Devil's Tower and Mount Rushmore. The short distance on a gravel road ensures a sense of seclusion after your vacation adventures. The 3 levels of our lodge ensure a chance to spread out and relax. There are 3 bedrooms, a family room, and bathroom on the upper level. Main level features a large dining room with seating for 24 people and a kitchen that cooks will love. The rec room and bathroom are located in the walk-out basement. Perfect for family events, reunions, or a relaxing getaway. Our location lets you relax and enjoy the company around you. Please let us host your next getaway.

Attached to the main lodge by deck or patio are 4 side bedrooms that are available to help accommodate larger parties. Contact us after booking to add on any or all of these rooms!

Perfect for a Family Reunion

This cabin was a dream location for our family reunion! Very clean, well-maintained and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, and there was more than enough space for people to spread out. Beautiful scenery and a location super convenient to I-90. We loved it and we will be back!

This place was amazing!

Our family reunion was made better because of this place! It had everything we needed and much, much more. Perfect accommodations for a large group, well equipped kitchen, bedding and linens were clean and bathrooms were stocked with all the essentials. Would definitely recommend!!
