About this property

Individual 3 bed villa with private pool, air-con, broadband & stunning views.

If you like peace and tranquillity on your holiday then this is the perfect villa for you. It is a private villa not in an urbinization. Set into the Murcian hills overlooking the north course with stunning views.No hum of traffic. It is within walking distance of Las Lomas, and Canonero restaurant. This area is ideal for walking the surrounding hills with spectacular views of the Mar Menor and La Manga strip.

The villa terraces are generous and bathed in sunshine. It has a private pool with (outside) shower and large private gardens. The built in barbecue is ideal for al fresco meals. There is extensive private parking. Due to its location in the hills, it is not overlooked. We have added a pergola on the roof terrace for shade while dining. We are lucky to have sunshine on our terraces both in Summer and Winter. In the Summer months the sun only disappears at 9pm which makes entertaining on the terrace a pleasure. There is ample room for sunbathing on the roof terrace and poolside. Should you require a quiet nap there is a hammock on the terrace. The pool can be gated off for young children.

The villa is fully air-conditioned. The accommodation consists of one double bedroom (with en suite bathroom and walk-in shower) and two other bedrooms that can be used as twins or doubles. There is a separate bathroom and a guest toilet in the hallway. The kitchen is fully fitted with all modern appliances. There is a large lounge and separate dining room . We can supply a cot and fold up bed should it be required.

La Manga Club Facilities: La Manga Club is the finest sports, recreational and leisure centres in Europe. La Manga Club boasts 3 championship golf courses, one of the finest tennis centres in Europe, Spa Club and Wellness Centre, saunas, steam rooms, Jacuzzis, 2 beach clubs, water sports, horse riding, weights/gym room, fitness classes, entertainment and lots of facilities for the kids. There are also 5 bars, over 15 restaurants, 2 piano bars and a night-club. Historic cities, bustling market towns, fishing villages and areas of wild natural beauty surround La Manga Club. It is within easy reach of Alicante or Murcia International airport. The local village of Los Belones (1 mile), has some great places to eat where you can enjoy some truly fabulous Spanish & International cuisine. Beautiful villa.

We had a lovely holiday at this beautiful villa. We spent most of our time on the spacious terrace and in the fantastic pool, the views are spectacular! Inside was clean, tidy and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, The owner and management team were quick to respond to any questions. We would love to return in the future and would recommend it without hesitation.

Wonderful

What an amazing 10 days we had. Mary was so helpful before we arrived and the villa when we did arrive was stunning. The pool was fabulous, villa much bigger than we expected and so well stocked, there is nothing we were short of. I can’t recommend the villa highly enough and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thanks for a wonderful holiday Mary the whole family loved it and didn’t want to leave.

Lovely home from home stay

Lovely stay at the villa, communication was great with Mary throughout, ironed out a couple of minor issues within day of arriving. Villa is huge, much bigger than pictures show, very comfortable, air con worked a dream. Quite a steep driveway to negotiate, but steps up to the terrace which is easier. Walked down to the shop - through the golf course takes about 40 minutes if you are fit! Plenty of taxi's around - La Manga Rent a car also provide a taxi service which was easy enough and always had a 6 seater available for us. Lovely restaurants in the main resort, La Barra for tapas is recommended. Really quiet and relaxing stay & as others have said terrific views when sat outside for dinner, lovely outdoor bbq (gas & charcoal). Well recommended.

A relaxing holiday

We spent 17 nights at the villa and all wished we could have stayed longer! We chose this villa because the outdoor area looked good in the pictures. In the ‘flesh’ it was so much better, just stunning. There was plenty of room for us all (4 adults and 2 children) around the pool. The pool was big enough and deep enough for diving, and we could never get tired of the amazing views whilst sat out in the evening with a nice glass of something cold. The photographs of the villa itself do not do it justice, it is beautiful and felt much bigger than the pictures online suggested. We cooked in the villa most evenings, either in the kitchen or on the outdoor bbq, and had all the mod cons to hand. The villa also had Sky sports, so great for watching premier league footy. The area is very quiet, up in the hills looking down on the La Manga club golf courses. We walked to the centre of La Manga Club on a few mornings to get some fresh croissants for breakfast and it was about 45 mins each way, so a car is definitely needed to get around anywhere. We did have a couple of small issues with the house during our stay, but they were dealt with straight away - great service from the owners, thank you Mary. Without doubt it was the most relaxing of holidays, we would definitely recommend it.

Mary Gaughran wonderful Villa

To be honest there's nothing not to like so you can book with confidence. We thought that we understood what the villa was like before we arrived by looking at the photos and reading the reviews. But to be honest neither did the villa justice. The pool is much larger than we imagined and so warm and clear it is also gated so relatively safe for juniors. The villa itself is impressive the kitchen has every conceivable gadget and a very generous welcome pack. Sitting outside was a joy given the elevated position and quiet surroundings. The TV if you need it has every channel that you would need and they all work. You will want to hire a car although the local taxi service is excellent. Mary has left copious notes of where to go. She recommended the La Finca restaurant which was excellent.

Didnt Want to Leave!

Travelling with teenagers is never easy. This year we decided on a compromise: one week in La Manga Club so we could golf and then the next week on La Manga Strip (outside the complex) so my daughters could be nearer the nightclubs (they have no interest in golf). Well, what can I say. Our daughters ended up having a great time in La Manga Club with all the nice restaurants and the beautiful private little beach, and were quite sad to leave in the end. The pool is great, in fact, we spent a lot of time just lounging around the villa, drinking wine, swimming and cooking on the fabulous BBQ. It took a couple of days for them to admit it, but they regretted going to the Strip and wished they had spent the whole two weeks in La Manga Club. We know what we are doing next time!

What can we say? We love this villa and so look forward to visiting it every year. For us a holiday is about relaxing by the pool or the beach, playing a bit of golf and keeping the kids entertained, nice food and good night enterainment for Kids and Adults. This ticked all the boxes. We go to the beach some of the mornings (really safe for the kids at Mar de Cristal) or to one of the pools in the complex which are great for the kids and so safe.The pool in the Tennis Center (our kids love it) is suitable from the all ages including 2 really good baby pools. Then back to the Villa for the rest of the day by the pool. The Villa Is so inviting. You can lie there in peace with a beautiful air conditioned villa, all the facilities you need within. We lie by the pool while the kids are having their afternoon nap - just perfect. The villa is always immaculate when we arrive, very stylishly decorated and furnished. It has everything we need, it's very beautiful and the owner has done a fine job to make it not only feel like a home from home but a very tasteful one at that. The villa is so peaceful with amazing views of La Manga club and the golf courses. We like to cook and BBQ, the kitchen had top appliances and beautiful granite counter tops and with all the cooking supplies I needed. Also has a lovely large dinning table. So perfect! We also have tried most of the local restaurants - all so child friendly, that’s the great thing about Spain. Have lots of favorite restaurants, La Finca, Ampola, Sie Bar - great enterainment for Kids. The 'Piano Bar' in the hotel is great craic for a night without the kids. La Manga club itself is like a mini oasis. Very good sport facilities, tennis academy runs well and the instructors speak good English. Golf facilities are excellent courses - are so beautiful and challenging. There are lots of small shops, banks, petrol station and a large supermarket that has everything you need, with a large cheaper one just outside the Club.
