Our house is fully furnished with all of the conveniences of home. Ideal for business professionals and travelers who are looking for an alternative to the hotel/motel scene. All you need are your personal items and a few groceries! Located in a area that is heavily populated with Amish. Spacious outdoor picnic area with fire pit, and swings.

Conveniently located between Bowling Green, Mammoth Cave and Barren River Lake. (approximately 20 - 30 minutes from each)

Travelers with a trailer have plenty of room to park and turn around. (boats, travel, uhaul)

Fully furnished with washer, dryer, dishwasher, cookware, linens, etc

House rules: NO Smoking, NO pets, NO parties
All children need to be supervised due to the close proximity to deep water.

Nice relaxing place if you go to fish there is only Bass and blue Gill biggest one's we caught was about 4 inches but was late in the season and had a cold front coming through very windy

Amazing little place in Amish country, pond is very nice we caught a few fish although weather hindered fishing, Would definitely recommend.

Cabin was very clean and had all the kitchen necessities. Pond was adorable, although the fish were not biting. A little far for activities at Mammoth Cave. The full bed was very noisy and there was quite a bit of road noise. Overall a very nice stay, very easy to find and check in process couldn't have been simpler.

Super Cute Place!

My friends and I loved the location, it was a cute place out in the cabin. Kitchen was adequate for cooking a dinner, easy to check in and leave. Would definitely go back!

Wonderful Getaway, Fabulous Hosts

I was in the area trailering a car for an event. Plenty of room to maneuver the rig and host was kind enough to offer to let me put the car in the barn as bad weather was coming through. Quiet and relaxing, beautiful area. Thoroughly enjoyed my short stay and would stay again.

This was literally the absolute cleanest VRBO or other rental I have ever been in!!! Spotless!!!! It was also cozy, quiet, and had all the touches of home! The car port was lovely to use when it was raining to load and unload vehicles. Generous amount of parking meant our truck and car trailer and other car all had ample room. The views were so peaceful, a great way to wake up! I cant say enough wonderful things, this is an amazing space!

Cozy cabin

This is the perfect get away like a pice of heaven. Pond is great (fish were not biting) walk trail around property is nice. Cabin has everything u need Dee and John did not leave anything out when they set this up. The location is perfect about 30 min drive to several attractions and great food. If u look for a short get away to relax or bring the family u will not be disappointed!!!!!!!

The cabin was so peaceful. We caught lots of bluegill and bass in the pond and watched the Amish buggies trot down the road.

Perfect for me and my teen

Serene and clean, perfect for our 3 night getaway for Mammoth Cave. Towns nearvy (15 mins) and caves close (30 to 45 mins). The cabin is nice size and furnished well. Lookinhg forward to another visit.

Great cabin with fishing

I highly recommend staying here. The cabin was perfect for our family of 4 visit to Mammoth Cave. It was clean and cozy, and had everything we needed. My son was in heaven with the catch and release fishing pond; he caught over 20 fish. We would definitely stay here again.

Why they chose this property

When we bought this property it was an overgrown, tangled piece of swamp land that just needed to be brought back to life. We spent 3 years turning it into something next to Heaven on Earth and believe that it can bring a little bit of peace and Heaven to your time away from home.

What makes this property unique

This is the house that love built. It will be our only home when we are too old and tired to take care of the big house and farm. Sitting in the rocking chair, looking out at the pond brings inner peace at the end of a long day. It is big enough and yet small enough that you don't get lost in it.
